South Bend -- A father and son out boating found the body of a woman in the St. Joseph River -- the third woman's body to be found in the river in less than two months.

Are there any missing people around this area that this could be?

I can't find any information on any other missing women in this area.

I read about the the other two women found.

One, they think her little dog got away from her when she was getting ready to leave her home. They think the dog may have run down to the river and fell into the ice and she went after him and did too.

The second woman was often known to sit along the river. I believe she had a high alcohol level, .28 or something like that.

I think this is the time of year they start finding people who may have fallen in the river during winter, .......now that the snow has melted.

I was spooked when I first read this, but I think it's probably explainable. Who this latest victim is, I don't know. Guess we'll have to wait until they identify her.

Investigators have identified the woman whose body they found Friday evening in the St. Joseph River as Sandra Dobson...

Dobson was in her early 50s and lived in a group home on Western Avenue in South Bend.
