What we have seen today indicates that they are covering all bases re Jared (as well). Leaving no stone unturned. Obvi they are not playing: no advance notification that raid would occur today; bringing in 1/3 dogs in country that detect electronics...

If they had anything on him he would be in jail and would have been arrested this morning. They took everything have gone through it and still not arrested him which means this is not about him. IMO.
Someone made a good point that they could have been looking for hidden cameras and such.

He would be in jail now if they had anything on him.

Important point that the postal inspector is involved in the investigation. Jmo. LE may delay any arrest until prosecutors take a look at the evidence. Idk this is terrible. Jmo

One item police recovered from Taylor's [former Exec Dir, Jared Foundation] home office, according to court records, did appear to have a link to Fogle or his foundation. The officers who searched Taylor's home reported recovering a thumb drive that contained multiple videos of child , including what police described as "commercially made child from Eastern Europe similar to that seized on other investigations," court records said. The detective leading the probe noted an examination of that thumb drive "revealed a document file with Taylor's employer listed in the file name."

It is unclear, however, if that referred to Fogle or the foundation. It also is unclear from the court document if that specific file contained pornographic images. Federal officials wouldn't comment on either case today.

I hope this is a case of diligent investigative work and LE is following up on a name on a file or flash drive. In that case, it could turn out that Jared is not involved but had the misfortune of his name being on a file or drive.

However, the electronic-sniffing dog is a concern. I'm wondering (pure speculation here) if there were images on Taylor's files that looked like the inside of Jared's home. Perhaps Taylor hid a camera at Jared's place?? IDK.

It could be there is something in the home but that Jared didn't know. I hope he didn't know. I sure hope he didn't hide something himself.

JMO, willing to change my mind quickly on this case.

On a side note, nowadays in the US child probably means filming kids in bathing suits in a pool or smth. I am mistrustful of the severity of such charges, because the US labels as sex offenders drunks college kids that pee on the side of the road in the middle of the day. My husband has to remind me constantly not to walk naked close to the windows in my own house, not because someone might peep on me, but because I might get in trouble with the law. Crazy.

In 2007, the VH-1 pop-culture show &#8220;Best Week Ever&#8221; reported that Fogle himself once ran a successful -rental business out of his dorm at Indiana University.
While &#8220;Best Week Ever&#8221; characterized Fogle&#8217;s library as &#8220;vast and extensive,&#8221; there was never a suggestion that the operation was illegal or involved children.

Not at all the same thing.. and child are two completely different things.. How many boys in college are not involved with in some way.. That is legal...

I don't imagine LE would have been quite so public -- the search included everything but an old-fashioned perp walk -- in their actions unless they were fairly sure of the eventual outcome of their purposes.

After all, Fogle is a spokesperson for a firm that regularly spends over half a billion dollars in measurable advertising, and is the largest restaurant operator in the world. (Wiki)

According to the family member, Fogle continued to privately support Taylor, and was even involved in bailing him out of jail. LE does, however, orchestrate its actions in order to conduct public opinion, thus to sway it in keeping with the desired message or tune.
