Yes, I guess you did.

The article about the wedding is right below the one about the large LE search for HaLeigh. This is the search that occured on the same day that HaLeigh's father married her babysitter.

http://www.news4jax.com/news/18915320/detail.html

"They have been planning this forever. They just decided they were ready," said Croslin's sister, Lindsey Croslin.

The family members said in the end they chose not to have a flower girl because they believe Haleigh would've been the best fit
.

Since they were "planning this forever", per Misty's SIL but went ahead without HaLeigh, it doesn't seem to me that the hurry-up wedding was performed because HaLeigh would've wanted them to have it -without her. JMO.

Wow! You got the article so late! Thank you! :)

I suppose it's all how you read the article, isn't it. When I view the full article and not just the tiny bit you included, you get a better picture of the meaning, IMO.

Relatives called the day exciting, but bittersweet at the same time.

"It is about Haleigh. It is for Haleigh. We'd love for Haleigh to be there. If they were able to find Haleigh in five minutes, we have a little flower girl dress for her," said Haleigh's grandmother, Teresa Neves.

Nope, the tiny bit you added - the spin from TN - doesn't change my mind as to the reason(s) Ron really married Misty. Pleasing little HaLeigh isn't one of them. IMO

We will have to agree to disagree.

I'm not actually trying to change your mind on why they got married.

That said, from what you said earlier, I was expecting a horrible article with a quote from Misty's SIL about little HaLeigh being left out. The article absolutely made her sound wanted. It wasn't what I expected.

I posted my thoughts on the wedding earlier. I don't agree with the timing of it, but it's done and over. I do, however, hope that someday soon HaLeigh will be back and get to be that flower girl in her Daddy's wedding!

I do not understand how a wedding could be for a little child.

Especially for a little child who is not even there.

BBM

Haleigh was left out. She wasn't there.

to me, TN sounds so flippant and nonchalant...we'd love for her to be there if they could find her in 5 minutes. Yes, if only they could convieniently find her so there could be a flower girl because as SIL says Haleigh is the "best fit".

The whole idea that the wedding was for Haleigh is nonsensical. No one gets married for a 5 yr old child especially if that child has just been kidnapped and is in mortal danger. A wedding is simply not a normal or logical response to having your child kidnapped.

Then the statements about how the wedding had been planned forever-except they didn't get engaged either until Haleigh was kidnapped. Then on the honeymoon TV appearance the happy couple barely looks at each other and never touch or display any glimmer of affection.

Why did they get married? I'm afraid it does have to do with Haleigh but not in the way they say.

They looked at the one performing the ceremony as they said their vows, not at each other.

They didn't even hold hands in the honeymoon interview.

GGMSykes said it was a day for some happiness. This was a day when a large ground search was being performed looking for Haleigh. GMAB!

I am wondering if the so called marriage is REAL?
The church said no.
You can fake a wedding and it doesn't mean that the license
or marriage certificate was signed and sent to the state.............
Weddings ( commitments ) are done all the time and yet not legal.
Maybe RC did it this way.......and Misty doesn't know???
To keep her shut up? Is this why he wore sunglasses and black muscle shirt
and seemed to care less for his 1st marriage??? MOO

Wedding was real. Marriage is legal. Marriage license was filed - completed. Available to view on the Putnam County Clerk of Courts website.

STOP bringing rumors into this thread or going off the thread tiltle which is: "Why do you think Ron and Misty Got Married?" :banghead:

IMO- my thought as to why RC & MC got married is b/c MC has something on RC. He married her to keep her mouth shut.

Ya know.... it really doesn't matter now WHY they got married.... they did. It's legal, and they're stuck with it. That should be punishment enough if it was for all the wrong reasons. It costs more to get out of one that it does to get in to, financially and emotionally.

Right, Txlady2... It's sad that we're back discussing this. I mean, it's been several months since the wedding and it's still the main topic instead of the discovery of Haleigh. If she's never found it does not seem to matter much when they were married because she can't be the flowergirl ever.

BBM...how long is FOREVER? Seems they've only known each other less than a year? This whole wedding was to hopefully keep LE from filing statatory (sp) rape charges, OR married priviledge (wrong). MMO

They moved in together in November....well into the MH then. I don't know what their living arrangements were before then.

Good Morning,
I have not been here in a few days and do not know if it has been mentioned that Mike Tyson got married within this last week and he just lost his daughter. I know this is off topic, but, it is just as odd and the timing is in bad taste under the circumstances.
I have lost a child and could not imagine getting married right after, but, life does go on and sometimes decisions are made because of those circumstances. Marriage is about bringing two people together. Under these two situations I could understand why these couples could feel the need to commit to one another for support and would regardless of the public's opinion of timing or being normal behavior.

Anything been uncovered and sleuth upstairs since downstairs closed?

Knowing your child is deceased, closure, with a several years, long term relationship, preplanned wedding, IMO is different than a rushed wedding of a less than 6 month relationship, while your daughter's whereabouts are unknown, unless of course IMO RC felt closure as he knew Haleighs fate. JMO Its what Haleigh wanted, so IMO it was done in memory of, as was the tattoo........JMO
