It's a bit difficult to find a place to post fresh sleuthings. I believe most of new findings would be classified as "rumor" since they're not been confirmed by LE or mentioned by media or off topic since they may involve peripheral people who have not been named as being part of the investigation.

Mike Tyson's situation was different from R& M's in that he didn't have to wonder if his girl could come back some day to be the flowergirl, they knew she wouldn't.

It's got to be very heartbreaking to get married or witness a wedding under such circumstances: the wedding day is always touted to be the happiest day of your life (so far) and you'll cherish the memories of it always but how can it be anything but heartrending if you're in the middle of bereavement or uncertain of your child's fate, and whenever you think back to your wedding you'll remember the sorrow more than the happiness of love. No one should have to go through losing a child.

"It's an event that Haleigh really should be at, but when she comes home, we'll have a great big wedding so she can be the flower girl and see it all again," Neves said.

BBM. I'm confused. "See it all again," implies it (the wedding) was seen by Haleigh once. Could someone fill me on how Haleigh saw the wedding, where Haleigh saw the wedding, and when Haleigh saw the wedding the first time? Thanks.

Not what TN meant but I suppose if she's alive she could have watched the exclusive video footage with whoever she's with. I always thought it could have made an awful mind game for a stranger abductor to make her watch it over and over again, explaining that it meant they had forgotten about her.

Don't mean to be rude, but how do you know what TN meant? I see the words she spoke, and they made me wonder. Did she mis-speak?

I am not arguing, but, would like to suggest that the circumstances that Ron and Misty found themselves to be in, living together unmarried and the fact that Misty was underage and combined with the fact of Crystal claiming Ron abused the children and mentioning intentions for a future custody battle would suggest another factor in their decision to get married so quickly.
It is my opinion that Ron believes Misty did not commit any other crime than sleeping thru HaLeigh's abduction. He was faced with the fact that he had to protect his family from more harm directed at him, Misty and even Ron Jr. with allegations and rumors. His decision to marry Misty can be seen in its reality............ due to the circumstances and the truth.
Ron did not hurt, harm or hide HaLeigh.
Misty did not hurt, harm or hide HaLeigh.
Someone got in to the MH with no forced entry and removed HaLeigh and left no trace.

Crystal Sheffield has been preparing since November "08" for a DCF custody case, since that is how they do it there in that part of Florida from what Kim P. has stated.

It has been 4 months and LE still believe she is alive.
Why would they even think she is still alive after all this time?
They must know enough to to believe she is still alive and who might know something and are waiting or negotiating (I hope) with those that can bring an end to this.

I guess should have said "Not what TN meant I assume" but I just took it for granted that she couldn't have. I can't picture anyone with a missing child thinking that now she can watch the wedding on the internet while her abductor plays cruel mind games with her and then we'll do the wedding again for her later. It would take a very odd mindset.

I wish I had your assurance that their marriage was a reflection of the love for family in the purest sense of the term and not for some retributive/protectionist/hush hush reason. I have seen nothing that would support a pure intent at all.

I hope they derive comfort from each other.

I don't think TN misspoke at all. I think that perhaps you are just misinterpreting what she said, IMO.

"It's an event that Haleigh really should be at, but when she comes home, we'll have a great big wedding so she can be the flower girl and see it all again," Neves said.

Sounds (to me) like TN is saying they will have another wedding when HaLeigh comes home that she will participate in - a great big one. They will "do it all again" - the wedding - and this time HaLeigh will see it.

I think it is a matter of people picking apart every word that people say (on all sides). The way that phrase is worded leaves it open to interpretation. However, TN makes it plain as day she wants HaLeigh there, and obviously she wasn't there the first time. This seems like a simple wording issue, IMO.

BBM... With all due respect, how do you know the things you stated that I bolded above? If you know, then please contact LE so that they can move their investigation forward and clear Ron and Misty and find the person who did this. Or if this is your opinion, it might be wise to state that it is, instead of posting opinions as FACTS. This is not the rumor thread, doncha know!
Meaning no disrespect, not even being rude, just trying to help!! :)

According to them, all Haleigh wanted was for them to marry so she could be the flower girl. How sad that they went on and did it without her. They can "do it all again" or whatever, but that's not quite the same. imo

I might be able to have more respect if they'd just tell the truth and admit that the wedding had nothing to do with Haleigh. That it's just something they wanted to do. The way they bring her into it just makes it even more slimy. imo

Thank you for clearing that up for me. It's good someone is able to interpret things properly.

New story up on AH......

Snipit

Police say investigators have spoken with Misty Cummings more than 10 times, along with members of both families, including mother Crystal Sheffield, who is engaged in a bitter custody dispute over Haleigh and little brother Ronald, Jr. Investigators have been trying to schedule more meetings with Ronald and his lawyers, but had not when we last spoke earlier this week.
