I'm sure this plane has crashed and will be found soon, right?

I'm feeling a bit freaked out. I had a horrible dream last night about a plane crash, 3 in fact. 3 Different planes came down, it was vivid and graphic. I got up and put the computer on and I thought to myself "there better not have been a crash", and what is the first thing I see when I open my browser to MSN? This :(

I know I'm just a plane buff who is way too intrigued by air crash investigation, and this is just a coincidence. But it happened one time before, I dreamed of 3 planes coming down and within about 10 day there were 3 major crashes.

According to Google search, Papua Indonesia is 13 hrs ahead of Washington DC.

There seem to be a LOT of big trees in the area. On rare occasions when people survived plane crashes, it's often because trees softened the impact.

I'm hoping. There were 5 little ones aboard.

Crashed in the highlands of Oksibil. Do we have a map?

It's confirmed it is the plane, but if the search has been called off, I'm not sure local villagers will be in a position to offer medical aid even if there are survivors.

The search, conducted by air, was called off because of fog and nightfall. Perhaps now there is a location authorities can send teams in by foot?

Alex Macheras (@AlexInAir) tweeted 16 Aug 15:

Indonesia's transport minister confirms #Trigana Air plane has crashed in the Papua highlands of Oksibil. No info re survivors. (https://twitter.com/AlexInAir/status/632913514340990976?s=17)

This photo at link shows Oksibil, where the plane was heading, resting in a flat basin surrounded by the highlands. If the fog was present as the plane came into land, could it have gone too low and clipped the trees? Or would the pull up alert have sounded?

I'm intrigued by air crash investigation as well so it's nice to know I'm not alone! I used to have frequent dreams of airplane crashes when I was younger but never knew why and then they stopped suddenly.
