That's a great summary of Jodi Arias' actions indicating premeditation. And I do believe the catalyst for this was Travis Alexander calling her out as a liar and sociopath.

He was done with her. She planned everything to leave no "footprint" in Arizona, and her meeting with Ryan Burns was simply an alibi to put her closer to that goal.

For that reason I wonder:

1. If Travis Alexander had any idea she was coming. That they talked on the phone tells us nothing of the conversation.

2. That she entered the home at 4:00 AM. She may have arrived in Mesa at that time, but why go through the elaborate preparations if they could be done by a roommate spotting her in the home?

From the photo time stamps the earliest she can be placed in the home is 1:44 in the afternoon. Do we know if any of the roommates were in the home at that time or had they left earlier? If she appeared in the downstairs computer room first and hung out with Travis watching YouTube videos, wouldn't that put her at great risk to be spotted by a roommate?

Depending on the movements of the roommates, I can see her sitting outside his house, in her inconspicuous white car with her now brown hair, watching who entered and left.

Which, if true, would add not only premeditation, but lying in wait to Jodi Arias' list of stellar achievements.

And it adds another rational for carrying the .25: Pesky unavoidable witnesses.

omg---and she testilied that she watched him sleeping that day...

I think if she had used the flash in the last face photo it would have bounced off the door and the photo would be no good.

Plus, therre was a minute 10 seconds between the face shot and the one with e shower door open. Blinding by th fllash (if used) would not have lasted that ling

Someone had posted that a lot of the photos looked dark because they had been deleted and recovered. The pic of him sitting, looking right at the camera is bright. And JA said that Travis did not like that pic, but she really did. Maybe she didn't delete that one for a reason. Don't know where I'm going with this - just an observation for right now. :)

And no, I don't think Travis ever saw it, just thinking it was her little bit of truth in all her lies - she really liked it.

One of the jurors asked JA if Travis was tied up on June 4. I wonder whether one of them noticed the duct-tape-ish thing on Travis' arm. Wonder whether there will be any other questions on that.

I wondered if jodi had Travis us the tape to bind his feet.

Great, sensible post.

In this scenario, assuming Travis did not let her in the house, 1) how does she gain access and 2) does Napoleon not alert at all?

I have to disagree about the photo transfers. Travis was clearly wearing duct tape on his right arm bicep in the photo, and you can still see the imprint on his arm in the shower pics. Unless he did this on a daily basis, which I doubt, those photos were taken the same day. I do believe that Jodi took many of them with a timer and she posed for them. The others appear to have been taken of Travis while asleep and they awakened him.

Could the fact that JA owed TA the money for the car have played a roll or do you guys think this was only because of jealousy?

I don't think it was much of a reason to kill him but I would imagine JA thought how unfair it was for him to want money for a car that didn't work.

She testified there were no phones upstairs when asked why she didn't call 911.

Her cell phone was "dead"- because she "lost" the charger which she found in her rental when she made her 3 phone calls...

I think I read somewhere that one of Travis' roommates saw his ring and cell phone downstairs? Correct me if i'm wrong. tia

It seems like most/many "youngsters" nowdays don't have landlines. I wouldn't be surprised if there was no landline.

I've been Pre-occupied and unable to comment, but I am concerned over JM's cross on the gas can issue. We all know that Nurmi gave Jodi an out with his objection by implying there is no proof the third purchase was for gas. I'm sure a member has already speculated that she will say exactly that, and it was the reason that she didn't save the receipt. She wasn't going to write off snacks or whatever. I also don't understand where JM is going with it unless he has something up his sleeve because otherwise it further bolsters JA's lies of why she would travel with back up gas in gas cans. I just don't understand his point and hope he ties it all up.

It's been determined and confirmed that that gas station sells nothing but gas - no snacks, no drinks, no nuthin' - during the hours she was there. If she tries to claim the receipt was for something other than gas, I hear Juan Martinez next question: "Maam, would it surprise you to learn that the gas station who issued this receipt does not sell anything but gasoline at the time the receipt was issued?"

Knives packed in the car........makes me wonder if she had her next victim in mind?

like MM or DB or someone else who could link her/testify against her....

As I see some of the posts, It seems that some of us, Me included are mistakenly adding Jodi's version of events into the main event. I add a fact and then have to think back..
NO that is what Jodi said happened. And to me the only thing her version tells you is that it is the exact opposite of the truth..

I think that TA knew she was there. I think it is possible they had sex that day, Why? Because I believe her plan all along was to get him in the shower so I think that she was willing to do anything to degrade herself that day and to get him "dirty" so that he would get up and shower.

I think he was not thrilled to see her when she showed up but heck, Maybe another roll was not a bad thing and most likely she was telling him all the right things!

I just missed us together this way! I want to send you to cancun all relaxed, I know we won't be more than this but no one could ever make me feel this way... BLAH BLAH BLAH..

She knew her craft.

I believe that they had sex because that was her way to make sure he got a shower. She probably stayed in the bedroom gathered her tools and then went in with the camera. It was his camera so it would be staying and he may have thought.. "
Whatever.. I will just delete them later. I just want to get showered and then I will get her out of here."

I am still not sure of that last picture of him sitting. I think he looks apathetic. Not scared or upset. Or mad. Just like.." I can not wait to get her out of here.. " .

When I think of him sitting there. and her attacking him. It must have been pure terror. He must have been so shocked that this woman who he just had sex with, was stabbing him.

Oh gosh... Poor travis.

We also know that Jodi manipulated the crime scene so SHE may have been the one to put his ring, watch and/or phone downstairs in the office before she left.

MOO

Seems rather stupid, unless she was certain the roommates wouldn't go into the office or hear his phone ring in there. Wouldn't put it past her, however, maybe reconsidering not taking the jewelry with her.

That is great to hear, thanks I didn't know this part.

1 of my real shocker moments and questions and answers from last week was when she said that Travis asked her to marry her. The talking heads have not made much of that, but I am!

NG sure did!! She thought there was no way a man who had bought cinnabons, got and printed on pink paper the recipe for cinnabons, got her a gift card and wrote her a card about cinnabons, would have been the kind of guy that proposed over the phone. She was incredulous over it!! She had some male TH on who agreed because no man has pink paper. It was the show from the day JA dropped that bombshell.

No way did TA ever ask her to marry him nor did he sit and speculate with her on baby names. Funny it should come in so late in the game though. Almost like a last ditched effort to not appear like a complete stalker.

He's doing what he can for sure. I almost feel bad for Nurmi for having a client like JA but then I remember him slandering our Travis. And the defense women laughing. :furious:

The continual slander of Travis is unforgivable, however, standard in many defenses to blame the victim for their own death. It is a clear sign they have nothing else.......

We haven't had one in at least 5y and my in-laws recently dropped theirs too. I agree that it's not that odd at all.

Have we heard anything about those knives??? Size etc? Were they tested to see if they could have been the murder weapon? Did she say those knives came from her Grandmas house or where?? Hmmm this may be an interesting clue..........

It may be that Napoleon was so accustomed to people coming and going he wasn't much of a guard dog at all. Also agree with TA not being alarmed if the garage door was used for entry.

MOO

Not buying that. I'm a dog lover. Just last week I still dogsat for a friend. The dog loves me and knows me. But still barks and barks and Parks when I come into the house.

JA also told Det. Flores when she was asked if TA had another cell phone, that he only had the one and a landline. I've never noticed one in the pictures but everyone I know who has a landline, has a phone in their bedroom.
