As long as I live, that photograph will always haunt me. And Jodi, of course, bragged about the photo in her interview with Flores. So much to read into those eyes...it hurts my heart to think of what he had to endure shortly after this picture was taken. May Travis be given the justice he so richly deserves.

I don't think she had a choice. I think she intertwined her ninja story about the gun jamming. It really would not take much time at all to run to the kitchen. 45 seconds is an awful long time. I don't think he could have had his throat slashed in the accidental pictures. I can't imagine him being able to lift his head like that. JMO

I always wonder what it meant, and why Travis would be doing that in a naked photo taken by Jodi.

I agree and am finally satisfied, because the poor quality of these photos has always irked me. To me, the photos prove that at best (if he was aware), the photo shoot was an excuse to set him up for slaughter. Why? Because these are not remotely quality photos, just carelessly snapped. The poor quality of these photos in and of themselves, suggests premeditation to me if she is arguing it was a photo shoot.

An excuse to get him in the shower, which was so important because it confines him on three sides, with her blocking the third. Many have asked how a relatively small person could overpower someone bigger and stronger. This is how. He has no "out" once the attack is on.

I don't agree. I live in a house very similar to TA's. If I was in a hurry I could definitely make it downstairs to my kitchen and back again in no time. If he was struggling down the hall to get help she could have caught him in the hall. That is kind of what I believe happened.

I believe she came prepared and had her "tire-slashing" knife in her backpack along with the gun, and that the knife was used first to inflict the chest wound.

It was discussed early in the trial. The bad quality of the photos was due to that they were deleted. The recovery by the forensics folks were from thumbnails. That is why they are such poor quality.

Thanks! I'm going to look the testimony up. Because even if recovered from thumbnails, I'm thinking they should not look that bad. Certainly the one of his face, taken with a flash, looks normal in terms of quality, as a snapshot. And here I thought my photo obsession had been satisfied.

Perhaps someone who is knowledgeable about how to do it can bring over Minors excellent post as far as the mileage and gas situation. Also, minor, did you know that in the last thread that was just shut down that someone said the car was returned empty of gas.

And another request for minor or someone else can do it? Minor I think it was, did a fabulous presentation of why JuAn is doing his questioning the way he is. Because she is a sociopath or psychopath. Can someone bring that 1 over too?

Hey guys! I was looking through the end of the last thread and found this post of the pic of Travis looking straight at the camera and then the pic of only his torso right after. The screenshot of the two pics together does look like they could be part of the same pic. Great job getting them together! However, in the face pic, the shower door is closed because you can see the drops on it. In the torso pic, the door is open. I really think that torso pic is when she was coming at him. The face shot he saw what she had and was maybe told to sit; the next shot she was going toward him. Maybe that pic was accidental, too.

I think when she took the sitting photo with the door open she was going in for the kill. There is a major stab wound down and to the right of his right nipple, exactly the same place that looks the most vulnerable in the door-open picture.

Also worthy of note - there was a full minute 10 seconds between the face shot with "the look" and the open-door shot. That's an eternity in that situation, I'd love to know what went on during that time.

My thoughts exactly! When she discovered PPL, she also discovered the Mormons - Yukon/Klondike Gold Rush Territory for this gold digger. Poor Travis! I wonder if he knew about her drifter/grifter background. He probably did, but felt sorry for her and thought he could help her, at least in the beginning. So sad!

I don't think he was lifting his head. I think she had him by the hair. I think she is kneeling down and just slashed his throat open.

I think she is holding his head...to me it's taken right as she is slashing his throat. IMO it would be much easier for a slender woman to, after the throat is cut, to grab his feet/legs and drag him the 10-12 feet back to the shower.

I'm amazed that TA and JA emailed so many times during their on again off again romance.

This is something I have seen, that she had "dinner" with the producer of 48 hours with DB. How can that be since she has been in JAIL since 2008??? Or did she meet with this producer in jail, then sent him to have dinner with DB???

Yes, she's been in jail since 15th July '08 and was extradited to AZ on 5th Sep '08 to face the murder charge. Dinner must be a loose term, at most involving sandwichs, and presided over by guards. Odd one this.

This poor man. With in seconds he was being stabbed. How awful for him.

It wasn't seconds though, it was over a minute between that picture and the next.

It has no bearing on the outcome of the case, but I'd love to know what she was saying during that time. I don't think it was threats, he could have sprung up and knocked her over, which is what I think he did after she stabbed him the first time.
