I think it will go well into April. There is still so much before it goes to the jury. There is still finishing up the jury questions, and there are more in the box. Then both sides doing their follow up. Then whatever other Defense witnesses, and cross of them. Then the rebuttal, then surrebuttal.....

Ok, maybe into May. :)

Wow, May!
Okay, so I don't know much about the american jurysystem but I hope the jurors aren't in danger of losing their jobs and stuff like that.

I'm going to be a total mess when the verdict is read.
How many days do you guys think the trial will last before we get to that?

Oh I think it'll be relatively quick. Hours up to perhaps a day or two. That's all.
There's not much to go over. And I don't think there will be anyone holding out.

Her defense team has done nothing to suggest this was anything less than a brutally vicious savage ambush of an innocent man.

Jodi will be charged with 1st degree murder and sentenced to death. That's my gut feeling.

I meant how many days of trial but omg yes, this is interesting as well! I don't think they'll take more than two days either! Wow, that's going to be nerve wrecking. :please:

If anyone lost their job, the employer would be in big trouble. I'm pretty sure it would be illegal to terminate someone because of jury duty.

These short weeks don't help ether. Only 2 days this week. They really should be in court on Friday to move it along. IMO

ETA: Most employers pay employees their regular salary while on jury duty.

Do you mean the bloody hand print?

No, the footprint that was mentioned early on in the trial, along with the handprint. I imagine at some point she put on her shoes. It was only one print though, I think, so maybe she took them back off until she left? I just haven't heard much about it.

Maybe from someone who traipsed through there when he was first discovered?

I wondered that, too. But wouldn't it be dry by then?

I listened to the beginning of the trial, missed it, where Juan played Det. Flores' interrogation tapes. Jodi in her lie story about the man and woman, letting her live--blah, blah---said the man picked up her jeans and took out $100 in cash from the pockets? Rifled through her wallet, for her address, of course.
Might Jodi picked up Travis' jeans and took cash from his pocket...rifled through his wallet?

I misread your question. Sorry.

I wonder if there's a list of witnesses circulating around here. Anyone know?

I think this will wrap up in a few weeks. Well....providing this egotistical self-righteous indignant snarky defendant gets off her throne soon! She just LOVES talking about herself. It's almost like she's reliving this murder-fest in a pleasurable manner.

It really is hard to say how long this trial will last if we are just looking at days. We are only getting on average 3 1/2 hours of testimony a day, and many weeks are only 2-3 days of testimony a week. It could go on for quite a while now considering more Jury questions and both Nurmi and JM questioning JA on these. Then, we have defense witness testimony, Nurmi drawwwwinnnnggggg this out and JM questioning them. Then, rebuttal and cross rebuttal. We are getting 2 days this week or approximately 7 hours this week. I'm seeing it going into May.

There is a part of that tape...camera is split in court on her face/interrogation tape ...question was something from Flores, "did someone catch you, Jodi?".....that got a reaction out of Jodi, she slammed her her hand down and wrote something on paper to her lawyer, she was enraged sitting there.
Perhaps it doesn't mean that someone caught her at the crime scene but perhaps Travis caught her doing something and she was done, done, done with him....over. And we all know how Jodi likes that word "over".

What I found absolutely amazing are the details in her delivery of this made up story. I mean, she told Flores, without skipping a beat, they found (or she had) 80-dollars in her jean pocket. And quickly she knew to say 'there were 4 twenty dollar bills'.
I mean, who the hell thinks that fast or even cares to add these insignificant small details?

Well you know who does that? Someone who is desperately trying to convince others of their story!

She is so transparent that she's almost invisible!

I don't remember hearing about that. Do you have a link for that?

Yes, it was about twenties...she drove me nuts listening to her. Poor Det. Flores (and Juan) deserve raises for dealing with this <mod snip>.

I meant to say last post, Travis said she was done, over. I wonder if he caught her stealing or snooping again. He already accused her of scamming. Wonder what that was about....just being gold-digger type? ...cause she is, doesn't want to pay for what she gets, lived waayyy beyond her means and not work too hard for it. She's lived off men or family for years, but yet the state in jail pays for her GED in very late twenties.
Travis seemed to got himself in a pickle at times helping Jodi.
