I wonder how much soul searching Tammy is doing right about now.
In order to search one's soul, one must first have a soul to search.

Drew Peterson was allowed to say goodbye to his mother at the funeral home, after he was sentenced. I believe he only got about 5-10 minutes. For the life of me I don't understand why that was allowed. They should have told him he could go, if he told where Stacy was. Otherwise no way should he have been allowed! :gavel:
I don't understand that, at all. Why are these murderers allowed the very thing they're robbing their victim's families of...closure?

It definitely could be as simple as that but you know how the rumor mill churns out misinformation. I have asked the person in my group for the link to info that there was a search going on and so far I am still waiting for a response.
I certainly do! I dislike misinformation with the heat of a thousand suns. Misinformation just causes more grief for everyone, and sometimes more work for LE too.
We probably won't know if there was or not. There probably wouldn't be a link, about a search if there was one, with the gag order in place, LE is included in the gag order, correct? Or is it just the attorneys? I'd think LE would be included.
People, including neighbors, have a way of noticing things like cop cars arriving at a residence and news has a way of getting out despite LE not saying anything. Depending on the time said cars arrived, that would help answer the question raised about a possible early morning search by LE.
But, think of this: would police show up to do a search and not have a CSI type tech with them?
Did an ambulance show up within a few minutes of a cop car arriving?
Those are the clues.
Or... maybe...just maybe... there was no search going on at the C's house this morning and the only reason cops were there was because there was a 911 emergency call due to Mr. C. collapsing. And if cop cars were at the C's house before any health emergency, doncha think someone would have noticed said cop cars and put something on social media given how quickly this kind of thing spreads?
Could it be as simple as that?![]()
Is anyone seeing any links or info that LE was actually at the house doing a search again this morning when WC passed? I am in a private FB trial watching group and someone there alerted me to his passing and said that LE was there searching the house again this morning when it happened. I can't find that anywhere, it doesn't look like Marshall Stanton reported that, just that there were emergency vehicles there.
I don't think all murderers get to go to a funeral. Some do, probably the vast majority do not. And... neither TM or SM has been convicted of any crime yet.

In the state I live in, an attorney may petition the court for their incarcerated client to be able to attend funeral services--convicted or not--and the judge rules on the petition and creates an order to allow sheriffs to transport the prisoner in the event it is granted.
I'm sure SC has something similar.
A BILL

Maybe the emergency vehicles made somebody think the property was being searched agan?

People are asking about emergency vehicles near the Moorer's home. Tammy Moorer's father passed away. #HeatherElvis

I understand that, but I'm talking about these cases, in particular. Like Drew Peterson. He was allowed to go say goodbye to his mother and get "closure" all the while, the family of one of his victims still doesn't even know where her body is. And I feel no sympathy for TM or SM. Convicted or not.
