Investigators search east of Skyline school

DD was absent for more than an hour, can't "fully account" for her whereabouts. She's obviously holding back something, and it can't be good................
The time she was missing was supposed to be Terry's time line for being at the gym, no? I wonder if she was really at the gym? I'm sure LE has that info. Just curious.

I wonder if Equsearch will get involved at all in these searches?

I wouldn't think horses would be much use on those steep densely wooded slopes with so much undergrowth.

BBM above. If DDS was working where I think she was (see my post #246), it is on 40 acres and does have the name "farm" in what they call the property.

If it is 40 acres then there is probably a home and maybe animals or gardens on part of the property ... there could still be acres of wooded area. DeDe could have been doing gardening near the home or lawn. There are many possibilities.

I've got deja vu all over again. Aren't those the same words they were saying about Terri?

(I could easily be hallucinating. I'm about ripe for it with this case.)

Oh my bad, i didn't realise they only used horses when searching.

KSR is the one who had her house searched around the same time DDS did. They didn't name her as far as I know, but showed a picture of her house. I tracked her name down by finding a listing of her home for sale in Tualatin. She works/worked for Intel, and is/was fb friends with TMH and KH.

Hmmm, that's interesting! An employee where KH works/worked, and a friend of TH's?

Hey - I've been lurking on this case for a good while. I'm wondering if DD is in financial trouble? Has that been disclosed? Could T have offered her $ in return for her help? Anyone know if there is a life insurance policy on either KH? Sorry if these questions have already been asked and answered!!!!!

When I was a child and a pet died for some reason when dad buried them he also
went a bought a tree or bush and put it on top with mulch etc and it was like a momument. We would say Fritzie's tree etc. Patsie's bush.........
If gardening in the woods on a path as post above by THOUGHTFOX, I got a morbid thought of could he be under a rhododendron or other bush and disquised?

That's a frightening thought! Especially when you consider that TH was reportedly driving aimlessly on rural roads from about 10:10am until 11:39am when she signed into the gym, and DD left where she was working at about 11:15 and was gone for about 90 minutes. There isn't much overlapping in time between TH and DD. What if DD's role was to plant shrubs over a grave? :(

Have there been any searches with cad. dogs?

One article mentioned that DD lost her job in February (I think that was the month), and the gardening is something that's giving her some income.

freefallzzzz had an excellent picture slide show yesterday and one of her pictures was captioned stating there were search dogs in kennels in a SAR truck. She's been out taking more pictures today and if there's dogs being used, I'm sure she'll mention it.

I know there's tracking dogs, which are different than cadaver dogs, but I don't think we know if it was just search dogs or if cadaver dogs were also being used.

Is WS slow tonight for anyone else, or just me?

Super slow for me (WS) keep getting knocked off :(

TES uses foot search, horses and 4 wheelers also..... They must be requested by family and LE has to approve of them searching or they won't. That is their policy. :)

I could be wrong, but that's what I thought.

They do use horses, but they also use all-terrain vehicles, boats, helicopters, etc., plus volunteer searchers.

I think a lot depends on the area of the search. When they were searching for Stacy Peterson, they utilized a lot of boats as there's a lot of rivers, ponds, lakes in Illinois. Searchers on foot fanned out in fields. With Caylee Anthony, the search was through fields and some water in Florida, but mostly in thick vegetation.

In all cases Texas Equasearch waits to be asked to search and they coordinate their searches with the local LE.......find out what's been searched and what hasn't, what areas need to be searched or researched, etc.

Yes, slow for me too. About an hour ago it was taking over a minute for each page to load. It has gotten a little better though. :woohoo:

It doesn't necessarily mean they're going to find a body. Something of Kyron's could have been left in an area close to the school to make it appear that he'd wandered off or been abducted from the school. He could still be stashed away somewhere.
