Appeal for information over woman (82) missing from Wicklow

GARDAÍ HAVE ISSUED an appeal for help in locating 82-year-old Helen Owens, who is missing from her home in Killoughter, Wicklow.

She was last seen around 4pm this afternoon.

Helen is described as being 5′ 7″ in height with a slim build. Helen has blond hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, it is believed that Helen was wearing a brown waterproof jacket.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Gardaí in Wicklow on (0404) 60140, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Helen Owens eye colour is blue not brown and her height is approximately 5'9" not 5'7" as stated in the previous appeal.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 82 year old Helen Owens, who is missing from her home in Killoughter, Co. Wicklow since around 4p.m. this afternoon Monday 14th February, 2022.

THE search for missing woman Helen Owens has been called off after a body was found this afternoon in Wicklow.

Helen (82) had been missing from her home in Killoughter in Co Wicklow since yesterday.

She was last seen around 4pm on Monday and a garda appeal was issued last night.

Gardaí issued a statement this evening confirming searches had been stood down.
