Does't sound quite in reality.
I think he's round the bend and I still regard him as the only suspect

I have not followed this completely, but I have to say from my own perspective, if someone I was working for and in particular if I was living on their property got murdered in such a brutal way. I would absolutely be either freaking out or, depending how I got on with them completely distressed. This man is talking about becoming an author. I'd be worried that whoever murdered my landlord/employer/friend is still out there. I actually think I'd be uneasy living in the same place that this happened.

He is simply smirking at Mike's poor family. I sincerely hope the garda detectives working on this case are just waiting for forensics because if not it will be a horrendous injustice

If you’re looking for a strange summer story, they don’t get much stranger than the one involving a former Maine man named Michael Kelley.

Kelley, 54, is a suspect in the recent murder of a farmer in the southwest of Ireland who took him on as a farmhand. Mike Gaine, 56, who owned a farm outside the town of Kenmare, disappeared in March and was the subject of a search by police and hundreds of volunteers in County Kerry

Gardaí investigating the murder of Kerry farmer Michael ‘Mike’ Gaine are searching for at least two bladed implements used to dismember his body.
It was reported in June that a sword-type weapon had been used rather than a chainsaw, as had been previously suspected

If my opinion wasn't already firmly on the suspect being guilty well this article above solidified it .

There is very little demand for older lamb or sheep meat (mutton).
That's not necessarily true. At least in the UK, mutton has been growing in popularity over the past decade or so. You won't necessarily see it in supermarkets but it is often available in traditional butchers and halal ones serving the Muslim population. Indeed, most of the "meat" served in Pakistani or Bangladeshi restaurants in the UK is either mutton or goat rather than lamb.

Mutton is also available from meat-box companies, eg:

I notice that Michael’s case hasn’t been tagged as found deceased yet, though his body was found several months ago. I’ll see if I can report this to make the change.

Nice to see the irish government giving a murder suspect and illegal citizen a co council apartment, when people who are working and contributing to society in ireland are finding it difficult to find a home or are living in conditions not suitable for children such as hotel rooms 😡😡

I read that he is applying for Irish citizenship! Life is crazy sometimes.

What the irish government will seemingly allow even though he was already given a No pending futher information on his application prior to Mike's murder

Prehaps it might save a few lives if they were more stringent in their rules .

I could not just Swan on over to America or Canada or for that matter Australia and be housed in comfort while I await my green card . It annoys me we don't have stricter rules
