OK in this video this is what the DOC says. Basically if Casey doesn't show for probation they will turn the matter over to a judge and let a judge decide if a warrant will be issued for her arrest. The current order stands unless reversed.

Now the caveat is how soon Mason's motion to quash is heard. If it isn't heard before tomorrow afternoon, technically a judge could issue a warrant for Casey's arrest.

At the 1:11 mark, the beginning and at the 2:27 mark the end of the statement.

Casey had better present herself, and then let the court decide at a court proceeding. Or she has a problem.

It appears Casey was allowed to use the same time for different charges. In other words she was given credit for the time served 412 days on the check charges, but also the same time was used again, in calculating her lying charges.

Thanks .. I haven't been able to find it on video but saw it when it happen that day in court ... it was not the angle that the media pool cameras had .. at least I don't think so ...
It may have been prior to the defense complaining about camera angles etc. ...
I would love for someone to post a still of that shot and send a copy to the FBA ... maybe if they get enough complaints about the same lawyer ?? ...

This is what I mentioned earlier. A hearing will be held. Only after a hearing is held will the appeal to a higher court be allowed. That is the way I thought it worked. Could be wrong though.

An example of that would be when certain motions during trial were made. If the defense were not happy with the judge's decisions they could have delayed the trial to take it to a higher court. Remember the judge felt that could have happened over a decision he made about one of the experts? I think that is what it was about. It seems like years ago now.

So who defends the judge's order...the judge? Or does someone from the DOC also show up?

Me too! Pictures of her she can't make any money off of ... I second that motion and do believe this will be happening a lot ... both from reporters/photographers following her or finding her and from people just running into her by chance ... everyone carries cell phones with cameras pretty much ... she can't stay hidden forever and tabloids will pay people good money for pics of her

This could be okay, depending on how the Judge sentenced her. HHJP gave her 4 one year sentences to be served concurrently. The question is did he also allow for serving the sentences concurrently with the check charges. If not - then she would not have any credit for time served, if the check charges used it all up.

Yes I agree. And I don't know if Judge Perry took the check charges into consideration or if the DOC did when counting Casey's time.

I think that was on the appeal. They will appoint an appellate lawyer. But as far as this matter Cheney Mason still is. I believe this is still related to matters under which Baez would be her attorney.

I think he has been told to step aside because of a conflict of interest. He is marketing Casey and I think that is a problem for him to be a defense lawyer and a marketing agent for her. Guess only.

I just decided that I am going with the worst case scenario regarding this "probation muck." I will go with Judge Strickland's order to be overturned, Casey will not have to serve and can continue on with whatever she is doing. If by some chance there is a positive outcome, at least I won't be disappointed.

Please do not give up here! Yes the juridical-bureaucracy system has been hammering the private good tax players ever so badly in this case. They want people to give up. And just meekly surrender to their self righteous madness. A madness where Caylee and all like her are forgotten in the court room. The DT just want everyone to give up so they can make blood money. One must not tire in the fight against bad government and a flawed legal system.

To give up and lose hope is to let them all win. Surely that is not what you want here. Because the alternative is ever so worse. Keep the faith. The people can only take back common sense in the court room a piece at a time. And this small piece of "shoved down your throat" insanity will go the people's way yet. And it will show that they who rule so badly still know we all exist.IMO

I think he realized and that is why the expenses were looked at in camera and sealed so that it didn't affect her trial. We will know soon what that transcript says because the Sentinel asked for the record to be released now that trial is over.

Yes but it is hard to get your hopes up after the verdict too. I think we have to be realistic also.

For me watching Mason lose his cool and have to work for free to fight this, probably leaving other paying client work undone, is priceless. And Jose's absenteeism also very telling.
