The way DC slashed at the bags bothers me - a lot. Is he slashing away because he knows there's something in one of those trash bags and he needs to get to it - and quick.

He's definitely not being careful as if he's searching and trying to preserve the scene is he?

DC went there with a purpose and I believe he was sent by CA. Moo

DC was slashing at the bags and not using his fingers to touch the bag at all.
Can anyone remember if he was wearing gloves while doing his search at the abandoned gonzalez house?

He was definately in the know about caylee being in a garbage bag, imo.

What if he did find "the bag" and was stabbing into it like that? What if he would have stabbed into any remaining bones of Caylee's? Hasn't she been through enough? He could have been stepping on any of her bones scattered around the scene and buried them deeper.

The way he was poking into the ground like that. The way he was slashing at those bags. The picking up the baby blanket? I'm sorry, when he found that baby blanket... he should have called police. Oh, I forgot, he was told NOT to call LE.

I still can not understand how these people live with themselves? This was a 2-year-old baby. Murdered. Who knows if he actually did destroy evidence?

They make me sick. Even if DC came forward and told the truth and it means that EVERYONE involved in not only the murder of Caylee... but, in the obvious obstruction and tampering... be charged.... I don't know if I will ever get over HOW he, as a human being, could have done what he did.

There was at least one time when he was searching near the Brackenwood house that he slashed a bag with his pocketknife and then grabbed the bag with his fingers to open it up. I could not believe my eyes.

No gloves -- at the house or in the woods. And he definitely touches a bag at the house, amongst other things. And remember, we did not see the whole of all 3 of his searches on this 12 minute tape. IIRC he searched on the 15th and 16th with Hoover, and went back on his own at least once that we know of on the 18th. He was in dress pants and shoes the first day, jeans and long sleeves the second. If I was searching for a deceased 2 year old, logic tells me that if I found a pink baby blanket, I just might be in the right area. And if I'm correct and that blanket is the same one in evidence, he was maybe 10 feet away from the bags. IMO he went right back there on the 18th and there is a good chance he found something.

Boy, after all this sleuthing, sure would be nice if we have it right, that DC has been questioned, and all of this will eventually be made public. Hopefully the info will be released and we can see how close we came to figuring it out.

I've always wondered why... Out of all these psychic tips they got in... why did they only follow up with this one?

Respectfully snipped for space by me.

You've never heard of a reverse psychic? :back: You know, the ones who possess those powerful 20/20 hindsight visions. Especially these pet psychics, they get their visions straight from the horses (and hamsters and squirrels!) mouth :ban me:

But we give it a bit of a twist and shake. What if Casey confessed "somewhat" to Baez - it was an accident and I panicked so I put her in a garbage bag and dumped her....

So Baez goes to the "A's" and says I'm sorry but Casey has admitted.....

And Cindy goes ballistic and says no way, my daughter lies all the time and she is lying again. I'll only believe you if someone finds the Pooh Blanket that is missing ( and she had replaced).

Baez says, no I am sure Caylee is dead.

At this point Cindy sends Dom to the woods to find that Pooh blanket - if he finds it then Caylee is dead - if he doesn't find it she isn't. Dom has already talked to Baez and believes Caylee is dead. And is terrified he will actually find her. Baez says if you are going and you find....call me not LE. I don't want anyone to find out I've told you Casey confessed.

Then we see Dom in the woods slashing away - he's looking for that blanket for Cindy and hoping he's not going to find a body. He doesn't find it and goes back to the "A's". Cindy again goes apes**t and says this proves Caylee is still alive, and amps up the Caylee is alive campaign, knowing in her heart it just isn't true.

Yes! I keep waiting for just ONE person to show some backbone, scruples, a conscience, something OTHER than a desire to free an accused baby killer! Moo.

This PI, Vinnie agrees with you, that under no set of circumstance would any PI not be wearing gloves, filming up close , etc. etc. He believes it was done to create reasonable doubt.

From LolaMoon08 -- "And you also have Lee telling the SA that his mother told him Dominic went out there and it was before December 11th."

Thanks Lola, for reminding me about Lee. I recall that Lee told the SA he was very upset with his mother over this, because she had been so adamant that they all lockstep and profess the belief that Caylee was alive, and here she was sending someone out in the woods to look for a deceased Caylee. He was complying and being the dutiful son, and Cindy herself was acting contrary to how she was demanding everyone else act! Brings to mind when he said he believed everything his sister said -- because he had too!

I believe that Cindy denied having told Yuri that she sent someone out there in November. But others heard her, and Lee's answers contradict her. Yep, this one is on the record -- Cindy lied.

Hoover said Dom left the A house nearly in tears. Perhaps they outright told him they didn't believe him, and if he told anyone anything, they would deny it and see that he was the one held accountable so you better zip it and make himself scarce. Or maybe he was in there mourning their granddaughter with them.

Do you know when this was? Was it prior to Dec. 11 or after the body was found?

With all that activity in the woods in November, I think there is a good chance that it could have drawn Kronk's attention and caused him to take another look in that spot, which led him to finding the remains.

Another thought -- could DC have told Baez that he got rid of the evidence, when in fact he didn't? Maybe that's why KC was so mad, saying that this can't be happening???? Just a thought.

She did deny it. She denied it in the civil deposition. JM asked her directly about that comment she made to YM and she flat denied it and said she would be mad if anyone suggested otherwise and it would be a lie.

The SA didn't come out and directly ask her if she had said that to YM... They asked her what she knew about DC going out into those woods off Suburban Dr. and she said she knew nothing about it until after December 11th, 2008.

Yes, she did lie. She can accuse YM and the other investigators of lying. Day 2 (actually Day 33) Cindy already made up her mind that LE was her enemy when they arrested her precious offspring. Cindy has had zero credibility for a very long time. This just goes to show you the lengths she will go to in order to let her daughter get away with murdering Caylee.

Sometimes I wonder if Cindy believes because she is Caylee's family and because she forgives Casey for murdering Caylee that everyone should just move on and forget about it all. Let Casey come home and let them live their lives as if Caylee never existed.

BBM: I just had a light bulb moment while reading that sentence. Slightly o/t, but maybe this is why DC wanted JH to tag along. I mean -WOW! - finding Caylee. I wouldn't want to go alone if I were DC. KWIM?

I swear I remember that it is in one of the statements from LE that Cindy said she sent someone out there.....Yuri....somebody. Does anybody remember exactly so we can find a link?

Yes, I recall that too, it was in the affidavit I believe , a narrative summary by Yuri or Corp. Edwards. I will try to find it for you.

Thanks. I am horrible at finding stuff in those old threads. I went looking an hour ago and got off in left field re-reading the emails between CA and DC. That's what happens to me when I try to find links.

I believe this is it: Orange County Sherrif's Office Supplemental Report 08-074777
Pg 9--Cindy stated that she had people walk "that area", meaning where the body was discovered, a month ago and there was nothing in the area then.

I read the whole thing! (Forgot you said Page 9), but it was very informative and a great reminder of the events that occurred upon discovery, and more.

Yes! Maybe because I have little respect for DC's skills as a PI, I failed to compare him to a real PI. Hellllooooooo! A real PI would have been

i-n-v-e-s-t-i-g-a-t-i-n-g!

I am always amazed here too, you ask for something, go to lunch, return and there it is. Wouldn't it be cool if during the trial we could send tweets to the ADA.......Hey there...Ms. Burdick, page 1902, paragraph A. 1-3 ....we found it for you. Instant paralegals. I believe some of our members here have a perfect photographic memory and we are fortunate to have very bright folks. Thank God for Muzicman and Patty! They make life easy.
