Is this case on your "local" news?

I'm in Santa Barbara, CA, and while it's only occasionally mentioned on the TV news, it has been showing up a lot in my email news from the local provider.

I've also seen a couple of flyers, and her picture is on magazines at every checkout stand in town.

Local news in Sacramento California has very little coverage. When LP was involved, more news because he is in the Sac area.

I was going to say the same...but my news is your news. Down here in Stockton (ugh) I haven't heard squat since Leonard and Co. came home. Even then it was very little.

I am in South Georgia, and I have not seen this case but twice on our local news..Once when she was reported missing, and again when they found the decomposition in the car.
I did email our local newstation, and was given the reply that without the amber alert that they usually do not run these stories.
I have however, seen this story in our local newspaper at least once a week.

But then again, in all honesty, the presidential race right now is taking over all news outlets, however our local news doesn't spend their entire airwaves on the election unless its a hometown election. My honest opinion is that our local news is doing nothing different than they did before this happened.
Also, the only way I am finding that a soilder out of Texas has died in Iraq is either NG or through the major news stations, it is also not reported on local news.

Have not heard it on the news, I only found out by visiting another website to read about someone in my area that was found and came across Caylee. I have many friends and family in KS, OK, and TX and none of them had heard.

Every now and then this is on our news. Last night local news showed CA could be going back to jail. That is all that was said.

I have noticed as the case drags on that less TV coverage seems to be the trend. The only channel that seems to have updates regularly is Headline News. It is not and never has been reported on our local station in MD.

Here in Gainesville, FL it's on our local news, the local Fox station and many of my friends have mentioned it.

I'm in the NYC metro area and I haven't seen any local coverage.

I haven't seen it on local (St. Louis area) news. And of the people I know who know of this case, they have learned it from me. (I am the only crime buff I know in real life, except for DH who gets it from me and has actually become more and more interested in crime overall because of me. And he enjoys NG now. )

I'm about 60 miles from Detroit MI and it has been covered here but only because the psychic that said she had the message from Caylee lives and works out of Detroit. That is the only time it has been covered.

I live in southern Utah and we get limited coverage, very limited. I am obsessed and follow NG, Greta and Geraldo for the coverage. Right now it seems like all I see is politics on most stations....

Nope, no local coverage here. I first heard about Caylee through another chat room. I catch updates online or through Fox news. No one around here has even heard about Caylee being missing. When I ask or talk about the case people have no idea what/whom I am talking about.

Yes. I live in central California and our news stations have been covering the case. There have been updates two or three times a week, especially when something major happens.
