So true. I have yet to see hateful/fake info on Instagram or Facebook. Tiktok is unmanned and unregulated, adding fuel to the fire.

The evacuation corridor will remain open between 09:00-16:00 for civilians through the Salah al-Din axis toward south of Wadi Gaza.

There will be a tactical pause of military operation in the the area of Jabalia camp today between 10:00-14:00 to encourage evacuation southward via Saladin Axis.
Residents that are being blocked from evacuation by Hamas are able to contact the IDF through this number +97250-341-0322 or the Telegram channel- @gaza_saver

Fabrizio Carboni, the International Committee of the Red Cross’s regional director for the near and Middle East, says the situation at al-Shifa hospital“cannot continue like this”.

It's doesn't have to.
They can surrender, wave the white flag, call the IDF number, they will assist them.
No, they can't or want. How many Hamas injured are they caring for? They would be considered POW, if the hospital surrenders or when it is finally over taken.

Moo...

NYC: Pro-Hamas protesters riot and tear down the American flag and replace it with the Palestinian flag. These people are enemies of the US as much as they are enemies of Israel. Stand with justice, stand with liberal democracy, stand with Israel.
There's been debate on here about pro-Palestinian vs. pro-Hamas. Ripping down a US flag to replace it with the Palestinian flag is definitely pro-Hamas, imo. If it were the other way around, there would be blood drawn...

BREAKING: @IDF kills the terrorist who held 1,000 Gazans as #humanshields at the Rantisi Hospital in the Gaza Strip. Ahmed Siam, a commander in the Naser Radwan Company, had stopped them from evacuating south for their safety. The coward scum was hiding in a school.

IDF aircraft just struck Ahmed Siam, responsible for holding approximately 1,000 Gazan residents and patients hostage at the Rantisi Hospital, and preventing their evacuation southward. Siam was a commander in Hamas' Naser Radwan Company, and is another example of Hamas using civilians in Gaza as human shields for terrorist purposes.

We do not accept that the hospital above Shifa Terror Compound could not have been evacuated in the last month.

Imagine if @who and @UNRWA had expressed outrage at Hamas HQ in basement and committed to move civilians to safety. Could have been done and they are complicit with Hamas.

And Hamas violates each and every one of those rules to use them as human shields for military targets. Read what the next clause of those rules says.

<modsnip - quoted post was removed for not a news source>

While some anarchists might be involved, there is a decent number, esp of what I'll call younger people, who support the Palestinian people. Not Hamas. The Palestinian people. And they support Jewish people as well -- and some involved in the protests are Jewish. IME and IMHO.

Agitators? They want to be heard and sometimes that means being loud. Things might get out of hand at times, but I don't consider calls, or shouts, for a cease fire offensive. As long as respect for those around them - namely Palestinian and Jewish people is maintained. IME anarchists haven't been the ones targeting Synagogues or Mosques, passing out antisemitic leaflets or literature, or being antisemitic.

I might not fully approve of their tactics, and I absolutely do not condone or advocate violence -- not here and not anywhere else. I don't see any winners with this - what happened was inexcusable, brutal and unthinkable. And the phrase violence begets violence seems to apply much too well in this situation. My prayers continue for the innocents on both sides. And I am also praying for a cease fire.

Thousands upon thousands of pro-Palestine supporters converged on Trafalgar Square last Saturday for a protest headlined: “Ceasefire now!” Two hours beforehand, outside a branch of Barclays Bank in west London, a group of far-left activists who would later attend the main rally seemed to disavow calls for an end to violence. One bearded demonstrator, wearing a cloth cap and speaking with a slight Geordie accent, grabbed the microphone and bellowed: “Israel is in an offensive position. It is an occupying force! So we have to say ... we do not agree with ceasefire.”To whoops and cheers, he said: “We unconditionally support the Palestinian resistance. We unconditionally support the right of oppressed and colonised people to resist their oppression. We say loudly and clearly, so everyone on this high street can hear us, that resistance is justified when Palestine is occupied.”

Police clash with protestors near Cenotaph in London during Armistice and pro-Palestine march. Police officers tried to maintain a ring of steel around the Cenotaph ahead of a huge march in solidarity with Palestinians. As chants of 'England till I die' and 'Let us through' echoed close to the war memorial police reinforcements raced to contain the mob as they jostled to be allowed to join the large crowds gathered. Dozens broke through a human barrier which appeared to be directly outside Scotland Yard, and police could be seen hitting out at those through with batons, as some of those gathered threw bottles towards officers'.

All over the world, ambulances are used to bring medical care to those in need. But in Gaza, Hamas seized control of the ambulances and uses them as discrete taxis for their terrorists. Listen to a call where terrorists brag about their personal ambulance:

500kms of terrorist tunnels, but not one civilian bomb shelter. Hamas only cares about themselves. The truth is right in front of you.

Avichay Adraee, the IDF spokesman in Arabic, said on Friday that the rocket that hit Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip was caused by "a failed launch by the terrorist organizations that tried to fire at Israel."
Saving this post.
I didn't believe the iDF would target a hospital with patients still inside.
They've been helping people evac.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a serious 'mole' inside Hamas who could start a bona fide resistance movement ?
At he very least channel information to the IDF.
Maybe there is such a person(s) ?
Omo.

IDF says Air Force carried out some 5,000 strikes on ‘real-time’ threats in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces says that ground forces operating in the Gaza Strip have directed the Air Force to carry out some 5,000 strikes to “thwart threats in real time.”

It says some 3,300 strikes were carried out by fighter jets, 860 by combat helicopters and more than 570 by unmanned aerial vehicles.

Many of the airstrikes have taken place within a few hundred meters of ground forces, and some even closer than that.

The IDF says the strikes have aided ground forces in foiling threats to forces, as well as returning fire at Hamas operatives mid-battle.

It says the shortest time measured between the moment of ground troops calling in a target and an airstrike was six minutes.

Nasrallah urges pressure on US to halt Israeli offensive; says only US, UK with Israel now

[...]

Noting regional backing for Hamas, Nasrallah says that “hope lies in the support by various fronts, especially the West Bank.” He praises the “brave decision” by Yemen Houthi rebels and their leaders, who have sent missiles and drones against Israel.

He further mentions recents assaults against US forces in Iraq and Syria, saying “the ongoing operations contribute to the liberation of the two countries from the US occupation, but the immediate goal is to achieve a halt to the [Israeli] attack on Gaza.”

Addressing the Biden administration, Nasrallah adds: “If you want to put an end to attacks on this secondary front [in Iraq and Syria], you must impose an end to the [Israeli] attack on Gaza.”

“Iran is the power we need to thank for supporting Islamic ‘resistance’ movements in the region,” Nasrallah says.

Hezbollah leader hails Iranian support for ‘resistance’

[...]

“The Islamic Republic has supported us financially, materially, diplomatically and militarily,” he continues. “We need to praise the late Qassem Suleimani [former commander of the expeditionary Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps], who did not spare military nor financial support for all of our movements, despite the threats.”

[...]

“Last week saw an improvement in operations, both quantitively and qualitatively. For instance, we deployed the Bourkane missile carrying a payload between 300 kilograms and 500 kilograms. Imagine half a ton of explosives falling on the enemy’s head,” Nasrallah says.

“We also improved in terms of depth of reach, deploying drones and Katyusha rockets.”

According to Nasrallah, “there are other operations that we have not revealed, such as surveillance drones into occupied Palestine, especially over Haifa.”

“Some of these drones return with images, others do not, but they exhaust the Iron Dome and Patriot missiles of the enemy,” he says.

"Anger against the US is growing in Arab countries.
'We are losing badly'.

Joe Biden's administration is receiving warnings from US diplomats in Arab countries that its strong support for Israel's military campaign in Gaza is drawing anger.

CNN cites messages sent from the embassies in Oman and Egypt, describing the growing anti-American sentiment in these countries.

'We are losing badly on the battlefield of communication',

was a report from Muscat, whose author warned that support for Israel's campaign in Gaza would lead to
'our loss of Arab societies for a whole generation'.

Meanwhile, diplomats from Cairo quote comments from the local press, such as:
'President Biden's cruelty and contempt for the Palestinians surpasses all previous US presidents'.

The conflict has inflamed public anger

Barbara Leaf, the US deputy foreign minister responsible for the Middle East, spoke in a similar tone on Wednesday.

Appearing before the House of Representatives' Foreign Affairs Committee, she said that the anger of the Arab world

'is something we will have to deal with.
To be very honest, this conflict has ignited enormous public anger against Israel and against us',
she said.

According to media reports,
the administration's policy towards the conflict is loudly opposed by some American diplomats in the State Department.

CBS News reported that a group of diplomats sent at least one formal complaint, emphasizing their disagreement with the current policy.

The ministry's management was to hold several discussion sessions, including employees of embassies in Arab countries.

Earlier, one of the ministry's directors - Josh Paul - responsible for the arms transfer, among others, left the Department as part of a public protest."
