I don't understand. Doctors are letting the babies die of dehydration because they don't have infant formula? Can the babies have water? That should solve the dehydration problem, shouldn't it.
They certainly can make arrangements to transfer them. Yesterday, a pediatric hospital was assisted by IDF in a safe evacuation. moo

Teenager arrested in France after kicking a rabbi in Paris Metro

PARIS (Reuters) - A teenager has been arrested and is under investigation for assault after kicking a rabbi in the back in the Paris Metro, a prosecutor said on Thursday, against broader concerns over a recent surge in antisemitism in France.

The prosecutor at the Bobigny Tribunal said the possibility of an antisemitic motive aggravated the potential charges.

The incident happened around midday on Wednesday and the victim was wearing a black suit and hat, attire often worn by Jewish rabbis, the prosecutor said.

There have been 1,159 antisemitic acts in France since the Oct. 7 attack on Israel by Hamas militants, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said on Wednesday, nearly three times the number in all of 2022.

Israel-Gaza war: Dead bodies and tanks on road south as people flee

Civilians fleeing intense fighting in northern Gaza have described seeing decomposing bodies and Israeli tanks along a designated "safe road".

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has told people - via social media and leaflets - to use the Salah al-Din road between specific times of day.

[…]

Salah al-Din is the main road crossing the length of Gaza and the Israeli military has told civilians to use it as an evacuation route. The road runs past Wadi Gaza, a valley the IDF uses to divide northern and southern Gaza.

The IDF has said people will be safer in southern Gaza although its air strikes there have continued.

will remain in the minds of world's public opinion.

@Dotta , the disregard for international conventions and institutions is what Hamas is doing.

Is it international convention to slaughter babies, to kidnap civilians, to behead the innocent, to rape children and young women and elderly women until their bones break?

Is it international convention for armed men to seize hostages and hide them underground or wherever they may be?

What IS international convention is for the Red Cross to be allowed to visit hostages and check on their welfare, but they either choose not to or more likely are being prevented from doing so by Hamas.

What IS international convention is that fighters do not attack civilians, do not invade their homes, do not shoot them at a music festival, do not bind children and set them on fire before the eyes of their parents, and do not set the parents on fire in front of their children.

That is not international convention. That is purely terrorism. War crimes that must be prosecuted by the International Court of Justice.

Israel will stand alone against the world because it must, if that’s what it takes, to protect the one Jewish nation in the world. Where Jews have lived for millennia.

I imagine that if this were happening to Poland, you would want the Poles to protect their citizens and save their land. If Poland were the victim of a massacre as was Israel, and the world was screaming “all Poles must die,” would you care about your people or about the world’s opinions?

It is Israel that is even facilitating the evacuation of Gaza’s civilians.

Imo that goes above and beyond international conventions when it comes to war.

Also, there have been violent protests near my neighborhood in NYC—-far from Israel, far from Gaza, far from Europe. Why should I and my family, friends and neighbors have to fear violence here due to religious bigotry? That is not conventional. Nationally or internationally.

Lt. Nave Lax, 21: Talented musician who ‘loved and was loved’

Part of the elite Sayeret Matkal unit, he was killed battling Hamas terrorists in Kibbutz Be’eri, October 7

“The bravery and the determination that always characterized you were also there in your final moments,” he said. “You charged with heroic courage against cursed terrorists and with your heroism you saved the lives of Be’eri residents. Thank you for the privilege of being your commander and fighting alongside you for the State of Israel.”

Ofra said that Nave was home with his family for Simhat Torah and went to the synagogue on Friday evening even though he had stopped being strictly observant. When the sirens began early Saturday morning, Nave was quickly out the door to meet up with his comrades and head to the front line.

“He received warm hugs from all of us, but we never imagined that these would be our final hugs.”

Three young Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry said on Saturday.

One of those killed was from the town of Jenin while the other two were from Arraba, a town to the southwest, Reuters reports.

Levels of violence in the occupied West Bank have been rising fast. You can read Jason Burke’s report here about how even though Jenin has long been a flashpoint between Hamas and Israeli security forces, clashes have intensified dramatically in the last month.

There was a Pro-Palestine march/annoyance in front of Tulane University in NOLA. Tulane, people, no link, I'm a Luddite, which was the first university in the South to admit Jews.
Wow. I used to live in New Orleans, directly across the street from Tulane.

Here are some images coming through the newswires of hundreds of thousands of demonstrators that marched around the world over the weekend in pro-Palestine rallies amid Israel’s deadly airstrikes across Gaza that have killed over 11,000 Palestinians within the last month:

In Gaza, there is a growing generation that will soon turn 18 and has never known at least relative peace.
Since 2006, the Gaza Strip has been simply cut off from the world. People who were born under this blockade know no other world than war.
They will therefore be more willing to take up arms because they have nothing to lose.

What will future bring to Gaza?

Why people there cannot Iive in peace?
Where are true diplomats who will help to find truce?

My post concerned the expression "against all world".

Does it mean the whole word is mistaken?
