By their own accounts, they needed to shut down operations way back on ... what was it .... 14 Oct, 16 Oct, anyone of those dates. It's been an "emergency" for weeks saying they are facing "next day" shutdown of operations per their own statements. They are not very predictable at accounting for their fuel or consumption as they are still going all these weeks later apparently.

No wonder they are costing the western nations BILLONS per year in operating costs. Have they called on Hamas yet to bring back all that fuel it stole out of their compound in the south??

I believe it has been an emergency for weeks.

@SenRickScott

This video shows mailboxes in Kibbutz Ni Oz in Israel: Individuals murdered are marked with red, kidnapped marked with black. Every piece of tape is a person.Thousands were killed by Iran-backed Hamas terrorists – babies beheaded, young women raped and murdered, people and Americans STILL held hostage. This will only end when Hamas is destroyed.

They raped Israeli women. They murdered Israeli women. They kidnapped Israeli women.Yet @UN_Women organizations have been SILENT since October 7th. Ahead of the @UN’s International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women we promise to make sure the voices of Israeli women are heard around the world.

IDF says it has eliminated the commander of Hamas's anti-tank guided missile array in the terror group's Khan Younis Brigade, Yakub Ashur. Separate strikes also killed Hamis Dababash, the former head of Hamas's intelligence division; Tahsin Maslam, the head of the combat support company for Hamas's special operations in Beit Lahia; Jihad Azam, a Hamas intelligence officer; and Munir Harb, head of information in the Rafah Brigade.

BBM. And that is exactly what the world is seeing for ourselves. Israel cut off the electricity intentionally. The direct result is the annihilation of civilians in those hospitals. Disgusting beyond words.

This is tragedy!

Epidemic of dysentery and cholera might start!

Just like in Mariupol in Ukraine where rotting waste in the streets and makeshift graves caused contamination.

Not to mention defiling dead bodies which should be buried!

Unbelievable!

To be fair it doesn’t look like ANYONE is on the side of innocent Palestinians who have been slaughtered whilst we all watch.

And no empathy to boot it seems.
Really??

The IDF has been trying to get them to evacuate for well over a month. The IDF is evacuating their babies ... apparently some of them to Israeli Hospitals for medical treatment (waiting for an MSM link for that bit right now).

The IDF has set up evacuation corridors (that are being mortared and sniped by Hamas!!) to assist innocent Palestinans in moving southwards. The IDF is taking on Hamas and the tunnels to eliminate the terrorist infrastructure AND Hamas terrorists in order to protect Israeli's and the innocent Palestinian Gazan civilians who will continue to reside in Gaza post-Hamas era.

I think it's disingenious for anyone to claim that the Israeli's "don't care" or have "empathy" about/for innocent Palestinian civilians unless one wilfully disregards ALL the warnings, fliers, texts, phone calls, public statements AND concrete actions they've encouraged and taken to minimize harm to, and to encourage those civilians to take for 5 and 1/2 weeks now. If the IDF didn't have those things, it would and could have simply carpet bombed the entire of the Gaza Strip on 8 October and have been DONE with it all ... they knew (and some of us called it in this very thread) that they'd WEAR THE BLAME regardless of what they did. Soooooooo predictable.

One thing is certain, the IDF cares more about them that Hamas and their own government does. I have tonnes of empathy for the innocents --- what I don't have is sympathy for anyone who refuses to accept or even acknowledge who is actually to blame for their plight and deaths.

Sadly, it doesn't fit their narrative.

What happened in Israel SHOULD BE THE FOCUS of this year's International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. But it's the UN, and so it's not likely to show any sympathy or support regarding violence against Israeli women.

Hundreds of patients, including dozens of babies, remain trapped inside Gaza’s largest hospital as Israeli troops and Hamas militants take part in heavy fighting outside it.

The Dar al-Shifa (House of Healing) hospital is a sprawling complex of medical facilities in Gaza City, in the north of Gaza.

Located about 500 metres from the coast and a major north-south road, it comprises a group of six-storey buildings that dominate the skyline.

With between 600 and 900 beds and thousands of staff, it was the mainstay of healthcare provision locally, with a range of services that few of the other hospitals in Gaza could offer.

Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, it has become a shelter for those displaced by the fighting and continuing Israeli bombardment.

SEWAGE IS FLOWING INTO THE STREETS

BECAUSE PUMPS DON’T HAVE ELECTRICITY, OFFICIAL SAYS

DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip — Municipal officials in Gaza say sewage is overflowing into the streets because of the lack of electricity, causing a health and environmental disaster.

“A complete halt of all sewage pumps, which led to the overflow of sewage in the streets and neighborhoods, is creating a health and environmental abomination and the spread of diseases,” said Ahmad al-Soufi, president of Rafah municipality.

“We are now witnessing a deterioration in the environmental situation resulting from the accumulation of waste in the streets, alleys and all neighborhoods and the spread of diseases and epidemics of all kinds.”

GAZA HOSPITAL DIRECTOR CALLS FOR SAFE PASSAGE FOR PATIENTS

DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip — The director of hospitals in Gaza said Monday that 32 wounded people have died at Shifa hospital, the territory’s largest, including seven patients in the intensive care unit.

Mohammed Zaqout said 36 newborn babies have not been evacuated from the hospital yet and there has been no coordination on moving them. He said there is no place to take patients, and called for the opening of a “safe passage” to take them to Egypt for treatment.

Responding to Israeli statements that the hospital had rejected an offer of fuel, Zaqout said the Israeli military offered 300 liters (79 gallons) — “not enough to keep the hospital running for an hour.” He said the hospital needs 8,000 liters (2,110 gallons) of fuel a day.

Zaqout said Israel’s military shelled the oxygen department at Shifa and the hospital is now relying on its remaining oxygen bottles.

He said 10 hospitals remain in service in Gaza and they will not be able to continue operating if fuel is not brought in.

Fighting between Hezbollah and Israel fuels fears of war for Lebanon

Fighting has broken out at the Israel-Lebanon border in Yaroun

Let's move away from the situation in Gaza and take a look at the Israel-Lebanon border, where for weeks the Lebanese group Hezbollah and the Israeli military have continued to exchange fire.

But the last few days have been particularly tense, fuelling fears that the powerful Iranian backed militia could drag Lebanon into another war. On Saturday, an Israeli attack hit an area about 50km (30 miles) from the border, the deepest Israeli strike inside Lebanon in the violence sparked by the Israel-Hamas war.

A day later, an anti-tank missile attack by Hezbollah hit two electrical company workers in a community in northern Israel, killing one. In a separate attack, seven Israeli soldiers were wounded, the military said.

Today, there were more attacks, from both sides. In Lebanon, two people - reportedly fighters - were killed. Lebanese media also said an Israeli attack hit an area where a group of journalists was working in the border village of Yaroun.

This happened exactly one month after a Reuters journalist was killed in an apparent Israeli strike in southern Lebanon.

Hassan Nasrallah, the Hezbollah leader, said in a speech on Saturday that the group was using more powerful missiles and explosive drones against Israeli targets, and that the offensive would continue.

Shortly afterwards, Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant told Israeli troops that Hezbollah – a Shia Islamist group that is supported by Iran - was "making mistakes", adding: "What we’re doing in Gaza we can do in Beirut."
