Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says Hamas has lost control of the Gaza Strip, as the IDF moves to capture Gaza City."There is no force of Hamas capable of stopping the IDF. The IDF is advancing to every point. The Hamas organization has lost control of Gaza, terrorists are fleeing south, civilians are looting Hamas bases, they have no confidence in the government," says Gallant after an assessment of the fighting. He says Israeli forces are advancing "according to plans and carry out the tasks exactly, lethally."According to Gallant, the IDF has "intensified" activity against Hamas tunnels in recent days."We work according to tasks, we don't have a stopwatch, we have goals, we will achieve our goals," Gallant says, in reference to speculation that international pressure may pause Israel's offensive in Gaza.

The Lebanese state-run news agency (NNA) said two Israeli missiles struck a convoy of media in the town of Yaroun on Monday near the Israeli-Lebanese border.

There were no reported injuries, according to NNA. CNN has reached out to the Israel Defense Forces for comment.

Journalists in the convoy were reporting on recent exchanges across the border between the Israeli military and Lebanese militia Hezbollah.

The Lebanese TV news channel Al-Jadeed was broadcasting live from the area when an explosion occurred, starting a fire nearby. Several vehicles in the convoy appeared to have been damaged, according to video from the scene.

In the aftermath of the explosion, media personnel were urgently advised to leave the area to "avoid further attacks," NNA reported.

Last month, Reuters cameraman Issam Abdallah was killed and others injured when a media convoy was hit in southern Lebanon.

Tensions rising: The incident on Monday comes amid rising cross-border exchanges. The IDF reported Monday that “in response to the launches over the past day, IDF fighter jets struck a number of Hezbollah military sites and terrorist infrastructure in Lebanon. These targets included terror infrastructure, weapons storage compounds, and an operational command center used by Hezbollah.”

Earlier on Monday, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted a site in Al-Ramtha within the Shebaa Farms area, claiming a direct strike. It also said that one of its fighters had been killed, but did not say where or when.

Additionally, the Lebanese state news agency reported Monday that two civilians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli air strike that hit a house in the settlement of Eyeta.

Interesting. I'm pretty certain that I actually posted up the video footage of this one earlier this morning.

The IDF struck a target on the other side of the wall up to the front of this vehicle pictured here (to the left side on the photo but not shown) ... and a piece of the flaming debris came flying through the air and landed behind the vehicle and beside the wall (seen flaming in photo).

The media was not struck and was not targetted. A piece of the debris from the struck target did land near them though.

Here's the AC footage. You can clearly see that it is a protion of the very large warhouse that is targetted and there is a very large fuel burnoff once it is hit:

IDF jets struck a number of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon after 7 Israeli civilians and 7 soldiers were wounded by Hezbollah ATGM fire in northern Israel.

Then, the additional footage taken by the vehicles parked or moving along the tall exterior walls of the large warehouse facility that was hit:

So no, the journalists were not the target, weren't targetted and were not struck. Did their vehicles take some concussive damage, shrapnel etc? Probably. But that does not make their story of being "Targetted and struck by the IDF" true.

Sounds like Tony Blair knows his way around Middle East politics and with his experience as PM and his work since he left office, this might be a good move by Israel. Of course Israel has to make sure that Blair's views on the situation are in line with those of Israel's government, and that Netanyahu gets all his Cabinet members on Board with the decision. I would assume that Blair would work closely with Israel's top leadership.

There will be no end to this war that leaves our hostages in Gaza and Hamas in power. The children of Gaza need this war to stop with the destruction of Hamas—or else this jihadi regime will poison them and doom them to further conflict in pursuit of a genocide of the Jews.

Fighting between Hezbollah and Israel fuels fears of war for Lebanon

Fighting has broken out at the Israel-Lebanon border in Yaroun

Let's move away from the situation in Gaza and take a look at the Israel-Lebanon border, where for weeks the Lebanese group Hezbollah and the Israeli military have continued to exchange fire.

But the last few days have been particularly tense, fuelling fears that the powerful Iranian backed militia could drag Lebanon into another war. On Saturday, an Israeli attack hit an area about 50km (30 miles) from the border, the deepest Israeli strike inside Lebanon in the violence sparked by the Israel-Hamas war.

A day later, an anti-tank missile attack by Hezbollah hit two electrical company workers in a community in northern Israel, killing one. In a separate attack, seven Israeli soldiers were wounded, the military said.

Today, there were more attacks, from both sides. In Lebanon, two people - reportedly fighters - were killed. Lebanese media also said an Israeli attack hit an area where a group of journalists was working in the border village of Yaroun.

This happened exactly one month after a Reuters journalist was killed in an apparent Israeli strike in southern Lebanon.

Hassan Nasrallah, the Hezbollah leader, said in a speech on Saturday that the group was using more powerful missiles and explosive drones against Israeli targets, and that the offensive would continue.

Shortly afterwards, Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant told Israeli troops that Hezbollah – a Shia Islamist group that is supported by Iran - was "making mistakes", adding: "What we’re doing in Gaza we can do in Beirut."

But, of course! Journalists reporting facts are now being labeled 'fake news' by the IDF.

Innocent civilians who, clearly, don’t matter.

After 38 days of war, rockets are still being fired toward Israel by terrorists in Gaza.Millions of Israelis across central and southern Israel are running for cover.

I believe it has been an emergency for weeks.
It sure has been. And, Israel made that VERY obvious to th players who needed to act with their filings, public announcements and footage. Yet UN agencies and the PRC have failed to move to evacuate those hospitals despite their knowing, and having been advised that they no longer met "Protected Status".

How sad is that for the innocents caught up in between by the very ones that are supposed to have their backs? It's very obvious to me that Hamas corruption has rotted through to the very core of all the 'official players' in the chess match of innocent lives that depend upon them doing their jobs. They need to stop playing games and get to doing what other nations actually pay them to do.

The FBI is investigating Malley after he had his security clearance revoked in April over his alleged mishandling of classified information — which has received new scrutiny following reports that Iran helped plan and sign off on Hamas’ surprise attack against Israel on Oct. 7.

Hamas still thinks that Hezbollah and Iran actually cares about what happens to them, after all of these “Red Lines” they provided have already been Crossed by Israel and they still haven’t Joined the War?

Hezbollah will fully enter into the war with Israel if Hamas is completely destroyed in the Gaza Strip, a senior Hamas official says - NBC

It really confuses me. Hamas steals from the people, builds weapons instead of electricity or water plants, puts Palestinian children at risk by having munitions stored in schools and hospitals. But some people want them to stay in power.

They consider them “Resistance fighters”. IMO

All hospitals in northern Gaza out of service, says health ministry

All of the hospitals in northern Gaza are no longer functioning amid fuel shortages and intense combat, the Hamas-run health ministry in the besieged territory has said.

Youssef Abu Rish, the deputy health minister, told AFP on Monday that all hospitals were “out of service” in the territory’s north.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that at least 2,300 people – patients, health workers and people fleeing fighting – were inside Dar al-Shifa hospital, Gaza’s largest facility.
