Dozens of corpses lay on the courtyard outside Gaza’s largest hospital, covering the ground next to a blue refrigerated truck that had long ceased to be able to keep the bodies cool.

Most of the bodies were shrouded in colourful blankets originally meant for the living, after the hospital ran out of white bodybags. A severely burnt arm protruded from one of the blankets. Elsewhere, according to video footage seen by the Guardian, the charred body of a child was visible among the soft folds of the material.

“We are under siege,” said Munir al-Boursh, a doctor who is also a Palestinian health ministry undersecretary, speaking from inside Dar al-Shifa hospital. The hospital had intended to dig a mass grave, until Israeli tanks and snipers encircled the the complex on Friday, making movement around it impossible.

There are 110 dead bodies in front of the hospital, some in the refrigerator which isn’t functioning, and some just in the open space in front of the emergency unit. This could become a source of disease.

Six hundred patients as well as 200 to 500 health workers, and about 1,500 displaced people are seeking shelter at the hospital, according to information shared with the World Health Organization. Six bombardments struck the hospital complex in recent days, including the intensive care unit, doctors have said. Boursh said:

No one can get out or come inside, it’s too risky. Israeli forces said there was a safety corridor through the eastern gate so people could exit and some people did try to get out that way. But there was shooting right in front of them, and they were so scared that they turned back.

We can’t trust the journalists, we can’t trust the doctors, we can’t trust the UN or WHO or Children’s Aid or Red Cross or Doctors Without Borders or any other agencies, we can’t trust Palestinians and other witnesses as they may be HAMAS mouthpieces, we can’t trust anyone it seems other than the IDF itself.

I'd almost bet money this is kinda/sorta close to correct!

War is big business, sadly. Plays with everyone. Definitely a good question! I just know who has generated more fake than true at this point.

Israeli army releases video of what it says is clear evidence of Hamas using Rantisi Hospital in Gaza as a military base, hiding suicide vests, weapons, RPG’s, and hand grenades in the basement. Army also says it has evidence that hostages were kept in the hostage basement. This comes after EU condemned Hamas for using hospitals as human shields.

The news reports I read talk about IDF snipers around the hospital. Where did you please read about

There is all this talk about evacuations but nowhere is safe in Gaza. Is there another hospital the evacuated hospitals are meant to go to? Where should they take all the patients (never mind the equipment, which they can’t run anyway).

I don’t know if the Palestinians feel the IDF cares about them. But then again they should feel lucky they weren’t carpet bombed in the first place.
All those 'Israeli Sniper" reports that Al Jazeera put out there as coming from "Doctors Without Borders" that are taking a foothold now throughout SM?? DWB never claimed that at all. Sigh.

That's not what DWB actully stated:
Here's the very original tweet from them:
#GAZA At the time of writing, our staff are witnessing people being shot at as they attempt to flee the Al-Shifa hospital.

This is insane 1. Doctors Without Borders claims people fleeing Al-Shifa hospital are “being shot at,” but they don’t say who is doing the shooting 2.
@thehill blames Israel for the shooting, but their only evidence is DWB’s original claim—which never ID’s the shooters!

Palestinians trying to exit Gaza's al-Shifa Hospital are being shot at by Israeli forces, Doctors Without Borders report. LIVE updates: http://aje.io/lqkn1r

WATCH: Several terrorists with two RPG launchers shot at IDF soldiers from the midst of civilians in front of the Al-Quds hospital in Gaza City. More details: http://bit.ly/3sx94nm

A U.S. Intelligence Official has now stated that the Evidence provided by Israel which claims a Hamas Command and Operations Center is beneath Al-Shifa Medical Center in Gaza City is True, further stating that the Fuel provided to the Hospital is often Stolen by Hamas Fighters who Regular Stage and Gather around the Hospital in order to use the Facility and its Patients as “Human Shields.”

I’m getting real good at reading headlines and being correct as to the news organization who wrote.

Biden says al-Shifa hospital 'must be protected'

Joe Biden has said that Gaza’s largest hospital “must be protected” and called for “less intrusive action” by Israeli forces.

Hundreds of patients, including dozens of babies, remain trapped inside al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City, in the north of Gaza, as Israeli troops and Hamasmilitants take part in heavy fighting outside it.

At least 32 patients, including three premature babies, had died over the past three days, Gaza’s health ministry said.

The US president, speaking in the Oval Office on Monday, said:

It is my hope and expectation that there will be less intrusive action.
The Israeli military has said it was providing safe corridors for people to escape intense fighting in the north and move south, but Palestinian officials inside Shifa have said the compound was surrounded by constant heavy gunfire.

You forgot about the government :)

Ooops!

One of the government ministers said something about throwing a nuclear bomb o_O

Should the world trust him?

Did he hear about Czernobyl?

To trust or not to trust?
That is the question!

To see the evidence that hostages were kept here, but they are not there now, is devastating. Where are they? Are they living or dead? Or alive and suffering?

If I could only be 40 years younger, I would be on my way to Israel to help in whatever way is needed.

I can’t be a soldier but I could babysit or pack supplies. I can do that now even though I’m in my 60s, but I have parents in their 90s in poor health and I can’t do that to them. Three grandchildren too, but only one of them is old enough to understand the danger.

So again, all I do is donate money to organizations that help Israeli victims and equip the IDF. But I yearn to give hands-on help.

IDF: Hamas command center found under Gaza children’s hospital; hostages were likely held there

“Underneath the hospital, in the basement, we found a Hamas command and control center, suicide vests, grenades, AK-47 assault rifles, explosive devices, RPGs, and other weapons,” Hagari says, in an English-language press conference.

“We also found signs that indicate that Hamas held hostages here,” he says, adding that this is still under investigation, but that the IDF has intelligence to verify it.

“Additionally, we found evidence that Hamas terrorists came back from the massacre on October 7 to this hospital, among others, after butchering Israelis in their homes,” he says.

GAZA HOSPITAL DIRECTOR CALLS FOR SAFE PASSAGE FOR PATIENTS

DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip — The director of hospitals in Gaza said Monday that 32 wounded people have died at Shifa hospital, the territory’s largest, including seven patients in the intensive care unit.

Mohammed Zaqout said 36 newborn babies have not been evacuated from the hospital yet and there has been no coordination on moving them. He said there is no place to take patients, and called for the opening of a “safe passage” to take them to Egypt for treatment.

Responding to Israeli statements that the hospital had rejected an offer of fuel, Zaqout said the Israeli military offered 300 liters (79 gallons) — “not enough to keep the hospital running for an hour.” He said the hospital needs 8,000 liters (2,110 gallons) of fuel a day.

Zaqout said Israel’s military shelled the oxygen department at Shifa and the hospital is now relying on its remaining oxygen bottles.

He said 10 hospitals remain in service in Gaza and they will not be able to continue operating if fuel is not brought in.

I wonder if the IDF's small offering of fuel was a test, to see where the fuel would actually end up. Had it been accepted and used by the hospital (as intended), there might have been more offered. We don't really know, do we?

IMO The more evidence is revealed, the louder Hamas will be. They do not like to be called out. I think one has to understand the Middle Eastern mentality, as well.

Baby bottles and weapons. This is what was found INSIDE the Ranitisi Hospital in Gaza during an IDF operation. Hamas systematically runs its terror machine in hospitals, using the sickly as human shield. This is nothing but a crime against humanity.

Israel assess that a pregnant Israeli woman held hostage in Gaza has gave birth in captivity.

IDF claims to have evidence indicating that Al Rantisi Hospital is being used as a base by Hamas in Gaza.

Israeli-Russian journalist kidnapped in Iraq by Hezbollah was seen for the first time in 7 months in a video talking about her personal life and issued a plea to be released.Elizabeth Tsurkov worked as an academic journalist after leaving Israel for the US. Tsurkov disappeared in Iraq in late March. She served in the Israeli army during the 2006 war on Lebanon.

This footage from the immediate aftermath of the event points to it being the remains of an Israeli illumination shell, definitely not any sort of Hellfire missile. https://t.me/salehaljafarawi/104

A short analysis thread from our founder @EliotHiggins on a viral claim of R9X Hellfire missiles being used in an attack in Gaza. Analysis supported by
@JakeGodin. You can find a visual guide on R9X Hellfire missiles by Bellingcat's @N_Waters89 here: https://bellingcat.com/resources/how-tos/2021/08/26/the-telltale-traces-of-the-us-militarys-new-bladed-missile-r9x/

BBM. Thanks for pointing it out that there is no place the hospitals can evacuate to because Israel cut all the power more than a month ago. Many links were posted.

You didn't answer my question. They are both on the same side with two different stories.

Which one is true?

That's the whole point.

Are you ignoring the Palestinian witness' who are speaking out about Hamas doing these things? Or ignoring the now-deleted from Al Jazeera footage that others posted in here that clearly showed armed Hamas fighters inside and walking about the hospital? So, the IDF certainly is/was telling the truth on that front. Ignoring the anti-tank missile-holding Hamas terrorists on film firing them from the hospital entrance that I posted? Why no acknowledgement of those facts? That could be construed as believing anyone BUT Israel. Kettle and all that.
