A U.S. Intelligence Official has now stated that the Evidence provided by Israel which claims a Hamas Command and Operations Center is beneath Al-Shifa Medical Center in Gaza City is True, further stating that the Fuel provided to the Hospital is often Stolen by Hamas Fighters who Regular Stage and Gather around the Hospital in order to use the Facility and its Patients as “Human Shields.”

To see the evidence that hostages were kept here, but they are not there now, is devastating. Where are they? Are they living or dead? Or alive and suffering?

If I could only be 40 years younger, I would be on my way to Israel to help in whatever way is needed.

I can’t be a soldier but I could babysit or pack supplies. I can do that now even though I’m in my 60s, but I have parents in their 90s in poor health and I can’t do that to them. Three grandchildren too but only one of them is old enough to understand the danger.

So again, all I do is donate money to organizations that help Israeli victims and equip the IDF. But I yearn to give hands-on help.
The video is very emotion provoking.
The baby bottle, diapers, that room. I cried, still am. OMG

Our community participated in a state wide effort to collect surplus tactical gear. Our Sheriff said, it has to be replaced every five year. We even had unopened items. It gave me a hands on feel, to participate. We had snacks (my contribution) while they cleared out closets and equipment rooms.

Lots of positive responses and media support throughout VA.

RICHMOND, Va. (WDBJ) - Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares has sent a letter to all 123 Virginia sheriffs, asking them to consider donating their expired or excess law enforcement gear to the Office of the Attorney General, to be donated to the Israeli military as it fights Hamas terrorists.
“While I’m aware that some police departments are stretched for resources, there are many departments that have expired equipment that are required to be donated or discarded. If you have excess law enforcement protective equipment, my office will collect them and ship it to the Israel Defense Forces,” Attorney General Miyares

BBM. Let's hope Biden has figured that out and doesn't draw us or our $$$ farther into it.

Sadly, if/when he ever comes to his senses, it may be too little, too late. It’s already too late for thousands of innocent Palestinians. IMO.

I wonder if the IDF's small offering of fuel was a test, to see where the fuel would actually end up. Had it been accepted and used by the hospital (as intended), there might have been more offered. We don't really know, do we?
I read, lordy don't ask for a link, so it's moo. The hospital said it used 300 litters per hour. I do think it was a test. But Hamas wants a truck load. Moo

Dozens of corpses lay on the courtyard outside Gaza’s largest hospital, covering the ground next to a blue refrigerated truck that had long ceased to be able to keep the bodies cool.

Most of the bodies were shrouded in colourful blankets originally meant for the living, after the hospital ran out of white bodybags. A severely burnt arm protruded from one of the blankets. Elsewhere, according to video footage seen by the Guardian, the charred body of a child was visible among the soft folds of the material.

“We are under siege,” said Munir al-Boursh, a doctor who is also a Palestinian health ministry undersecretary, speaking from inside Dar al-Shifa hospital. The hospital had intended to dig a mass grave, until Israeli tanks and snipers encircled the the complex on Friday, making movement around it impossible.

Six hundred patients as well as 200 to 500 health workers, and about 1,500 displaced people are seeking shelter at the hospital, according to information shared with the World Health Organization. Six bombardments struck the hospital complex in recent days, including the intensive care unit, doctors have said. Boursh said:

Why does the world continue to allow Hamas to get away with this? It is horrific.

This war will never end IMO.

After all, it started in 1948, some say even earlier.

Every chapter is more brutal and barbaric.

And, mind you, after ALL these years -
still NO solution

BBM. Thanks for pointing it out that there is no place the hospitals can evacuate to because Israel cut all the power more than a month ago. Many links were posted.

JMO
But why is it that there is so much fighting around the hospital and why the power was cut?

UN agency says it will not be able to facilitate aid deliveries to Gaza on Tuesday due to lack of fuel

From CNN’s Niamh Kennedy in London

The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said it has no fuel to fill its trucks in Gaza and will not be able to facilitate aid deliveries through the Rafah crossing on Tuesday.

Thomas White, director of UNRWA Affairs in the Gaza Strip, told a press briefing Monday that the agency had about 80 trucks in its fleet that have been transporting aid through the Rafah crossing, which connects Egypt to Gaza.

UNRWA had issued similarly bleak warnings regarding its dwindling fuel supplies on October 25. At the time it said that if it did not receive fuel deliveries within one day it would be forced to halt operations in Gaza.

During Monday’s briefing, White explained that for the past two and a half weeks, the agency had been using fuel from a strategic reservoir inside Gaza after brokering access with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). That reservoir, which receives fuel from a pipeline to Egypt and has a one-million-liter capacity, has now run completely dry, according to White.

UNRWA had been “signaling to various interlocutors” for the past few days that the reservoir’s supplies were set to run out, White said.

Negotiations to refuel the reservoir are currently “stalled” at the “highest level of the Israeli government,” he added.

CNN has reached out to the Israeli government for comment.

UNRWA’s aid operation in Gaza has been “strangled of resources,” White stressed, warning that the situation is “going to get exceptionally tough” in the coming days.

The agency will be forced to entirely halt some services, including desalination plants and waste removal, he said. There is a “real potential” that free-flowing waste in the streets will lead to a “devastating” cholera outbreak in Gaza, White warned.

Maybe the UN can borrow fuel from Hamas.

Israel assess that a pregnant Israeli woman held hostage in Gaza has gave birth in captivity.

IDF claims to have evidence indicating that Al Rantisi Hospital is being used as a base by Hamas in Gaza.

Israeli-Russian journalist kidnapped in Iraq by Hezbollah was seen for the first time in 7 months in a video talking about her personal life and issued a plea to be released.Elizabeth Tsurkov worked as an academic journalist after leaving Israel for the US. Tsurkov disappeared in Iraq in late March. She served in the Israeli army during the 2006 war on Lebanon.

This footage from the immediate aftermath of the event points to it being the remains of an Israeli illumination shell, definitely not any sort of Hellfire missile. https://t.me/salehaljafarawi/104

A short analysis thread from our founder @EliotHiggins on a viral claim of R9X Hellfire missiles being used in an attack in Gaza. Analysis supported by

My heart is breaking for the mother that gave birth in that underground dungeon. I cannot imagine I hope the baby and mother survived.

Hello, UN, WHO ...human right committees, where is your voice!!!

The lives of premature Gaza babies hang in the balance

Tulip Mazumdar
Global Health Correspondent

The lives of dozens of tiny premature babies, shown to the world huddled together on surgical beds, hang in the balance.

Due to an outage of fuel at Al-Shifa hospital, clinicians there say the babies have had to be removed from one of their key lifelines - incubators.

Incubators are small beds enclosed by clear hard plastic that can re-create the conditions inside the womb. They can also support all the additional care these vulnerable babies need because they can be used in combination with procedures such as delivering food, medication or blood through an intravenous tube.

Without this specifically controlled environment, many premature babies (defined as those born before the 37th week of pregnancy) might not survive, particularly those born a few months early.

Around 1 in 10 babies are born prematurely around the world. Approximately 900,000 died in 2019 because of complications according to the latest figures from the WHO. This mostly happens in places with poor healthcare in low-income countries.

Breathing can be a particular challenge for babies born early as their lungs are not fully developed. Depending on how premature a baby is and other medical factors, they may need oxygen or, in some cases, to be put on a ventilator which can breathe for them. But ventilators need electricity. If power goes, some babies can be helped with their breathing manually, but this would require a dedicated person doing that 24/7.

Israel says it would help evacuate babies from the hospital to a "safer" facility, however moving premature babies in general, let alone in the middle of a war zone, can be fraught with danger. In the UK, there are specialised neonatal transport services, where babies have specifically adapted transport incubators to ensure minimal movement.

The charity ActionAid says three new-born babies have died since Saturday after their incubators had to be turned off at Al-Shifa hospital

The WHO has once again called for an immediate ceasefire.

Hamas was founded in 1987.
Earlier was war with PLO.

After Hamas there might be: Kamas/Ramas/Ciamas - choose the name.

As one Israeli said (in a link I sent upthread)
Hamas is ideology.

Solve the problem/anger/hopelessness
Then
You will fight ideology FOR GOOD.

Biden says al-Shifa hospital 'must be protected'

Joe Biden has said that Gaza’s largest hospital “must be protected” and called for “less intrusive action” by Israeli forces.

Hundreds of patients, including dozens of babies, remain trapped inside al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City, in the north of Gaza, as Israeli troops and Hamasmilitants take part in heavy fighting outside it.

At least 32 patients, including three premature babies, had died over the past three days, Gaza’s health ministry said.

The US president, speaking in the Oval Office on Monday, said:

The Israeli military has said it was providing safe corridors for people to escape intense fighting in the north and move south, but Palestinian officials inside Shifa have said the compound was surrounded by constant heavy gunfire.

Joe Biden has said that Gaza’s largest hospital “must be protected” and called for “less intrusive action” by Israeli forces.

If everything else is a lie, then what he said about protection must be a lie too, right?

March for Israel organizers are expecting as many as 40,000 to 60,000 people to turn up for the event from 1 to 3 p.m. Road closures begin Monday ahead of gates opening Tuesday at 10 a.m.

"[The] November 14th event will bring together communities from across the country to show strong solidarity with the Israeli people, while demanding the immediate release of the remaining hostages and to condemn the rise of antisemitism," The Jewish Federations of North America said.

Well no. He called for "less intrusive" action. If the hospital were still considered a bonified "Protected Structure" (it's not), then the President would be calling for "NO action" to happen as it would be a war crime for the IDF to do anything in/under the hospital. It's a war crime to take any action against a Protected Structure.
