View inside hospital during raid. Smoke, dust and some rubble.

Israeli troops scour Gaza's Al Shifa hospital for Hamas fighters, arms

Israeli troops searched its rooms and basement
Killed militants in a clash outside
Uncovered unspecified weapons and "terror infrastructure" inside the hospital compound.
No fighting and no friction with civilians, patients or staff once inside

U.S. distances itself from al-Shifa raid: ‘Hospitals should be protected’

US did not give an OK to the operation
US is not involve with al-Shifa raid

Some Israeli forces leaving Shifa after 10 hours of interrogations, Gaza health officials say

Israeli forces interrogated members of the hospital’s medical staff for 10 hours, as well as injured patients and their accompanying family members

Tanks have left the courtyard, but not the surrounding area.

Israeli forces spent 10 hours in the hospital’s cardiology and radiology departments

FBI Director Christopher A. Wray told the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday that the agency has “no information to indicate that Hamas has the intent or capability to conduct operations inside the U.S.”
Still, he said, “we cannot, and do not, discount that possibility, but we are especially concerned about the possibility of Hamas supporters engaging in violence on the group’s behalf. … We have kept our sights on Hamas and have multiple investigations into individuals associated with that foreign terrorist organization

At least 650 patients are still inside al-Shifa Hospital, including 22 in intensive care,

From above:

“FBI Director Christopher A.

… We have kept our sights on Hamas and have multiple investigations into individuals associated with that foreign terrorist organization”

Exactly, as I previously mentioned, supporters, sympathizers, lone wolves, etc.

They say “agency has ‘no information to indicate that Hamas has the intent or capability to conduct operations inside the U.S.’”. Good news, so far. Still, as we know, just because they don’t have intel at this time…

They “can not, and do not, discount that possibility” though.

This goes to show though they are obviously very actively monitoring the situation and aware of potentials, as we know they would be, especially in this climate of increased activity.

The plethora and rise of anti-Semitic events, pro-P uprisings across the world and in US, college campuses, etc., I think the data obviously shows that as mentioned, the climate is ripe, and “trends” are emerging as far as data goes. And strong comments have been made outing the US for supporting Israel.

Threats are probable imo for not only for Jewish, but also for attacks on Muslims as we’ve seen, as in the case of the little boy who was stabbed.

That’s why it’s especially important imo for peaceful Muslims, non-radical Muslims to publicly assert that they do not support Hamas or the terrorism that occurred on October 7. And I wish I was seeing more of this, instead of denials and justifications.

Here's the probable reason why:

Hamas chief Sinwar refuses to advance hostage deal talks while IDF is in Shifa hospital, @ynetalerts
reports. Sounds like Hamas is desperate to stop or slow down the Shifa operation.

Maybe this is the probable reason why:

The IDF shared images of what it says are Hamas weapons it found at Al-Shifa

PS. And the pits.

Sorry, the dates.

It looks like Hamas terrorists are running away and hoping to blend into the civilian population. They're leaving behind everything that connects them to their terrorist origins.

I love this Col. Jonathan Conricus.

IMO his precise information, his calm demeanor, his mastery of English, (even colloquial English, and we know he speaks Swedish as well), make him a clear, concise and excellent IDF spokesman.

It’s been my opinion from the start that Hamas will infiltrate with the civilians evacuating Gaza. It’s just inevitable for people who spend their entire lives in deceit and trickery and are immersed in evil. I believe many have escaped by posing as frightened Gazans, but they will reacquire weapons, through Iran perhaps, and bide their time until they again ambush Jews.

As to guns—-all my life in NYC it’s been uncommon for law-abiding, civilian NYers to have guns. I have never held a gun, although my former husband had a permit because he ran a cash meat business in a tough neighborhood. But I would not touch it.

My cousin is a retired FBI agent whose gun I have seen, but he wouldn’t have let me touch it even if I’d wanted to.

But if I lived in Israel now, I feel I would have to get a gun and training in how to use it. I would hate it, truly, not being from a gun culture, but the situation in Israel is too dangerous now.

Imo

Israeli forces withdraw from al-Shifa hospital

Israeli forces have now withdrawn from the al-Shifa hospital in Gaza, according to a report from AFP that describes some of the scenes on the ground:

Did they find tunnels or secret rooms under the hospital?

Aren't they evacuated already???

I know, it’s terrible. Egypt had the ambulances ready and waiting for them yesterday. Well, that was before the IDF raid and bombings that uncovered so much weaponry and Hamas HQ.

Nope, I read a couple of articles with more excuses.
The latest Israel is not approving certain patients, it did not state the infants were denied. I don't believe Israel would denied infants. They are sitting at the border with 36 ambulances, medical staff and equipment.
All my option...cause I'd spend an hour finding links

I don't know if they have withdrawn or just moved to a different section. Reports are conflicting.

But based on the the video of the basement, they did not find the tunnels. That certainly doesn't mean they aren't there.

Associated Press

“But so far, its search showed no signs of tunnels or a sophisticated command center that it has said Hamas maintains on the grounds of the hospital. Hamas and Gaza health officials deny militants operate in Shifa.”

BBM. The "timing" was not just a coincidence.

I agree. Perhaps the IDF needs to appear to retreat, and double back...
BTW, how does Sinwar know exactly what the IDF is doing??
He watches TeeVee?

Someone elsewhere mentioned that at the outset of Jake Tapper's show on CNN, he showed a video of Palestinians speaking out against Hamas terrorists. But I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have a link to that clip?

I would love to see this. Surely there must be some Palestinians who have spoken out, I just haven’t seen any yet.

TURKEY’S PRESIDENT INCREASES CRITICISM OF ISRAEL

ANKARA, Turkey -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan increased his criticism of Israel on Wednesday, calling it a “terrorist state” intent on destroying Gaza along with all of its residents.

In a fiery speech to members of his party, Erdogan also said his country would take steps to ensure that Israel’s political and military leaders are brought to trial in international courts.

“Israel is implementing a strategy of total destruction of a city and its people,” Erdogan said. “I say openly that Israel is a terrorist state.”

The Turkish leader described Hamas militants as “resistance fighters” trying to protect their lands and people.

Turkey recently normalized relations with Israel but its war with Hamas in Gaza has again strained their ties. Israel recalled its diplomats from Turkey last month after Erdogan accused Israel of committing war crimes. Turkey later also recalled its ambassador from Israel.

Best thing Hamas can do is to surrender.

You mean the fuel and incubators that the hospital staff refused to accept?
