What I meant was, he's demanding IDF withdraw from al-Shifa, but I don't see a realistic plausible way to prove that (especially, since he's in hiding in Qatar). He watches TeeVee?

OH no, one of the worst dictators in the world is criticizing them!!! When you find yourself on the same side as Putin, Erdogan and Khamenei and Kim Jong Un you might want to evaluate your position.TURKEY’S PRESIDENT INCREASES CRITICISM OF ISRAEL
ANKARA, Turkey -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan increased his criticism of Israel on Wednesday, calling it a “terrorist state” intent on destroying Gaza along with all of its residents.
In a fiery speech to members of his party, Erdogan also said his country would take steps to ensure that Israel’s political and military leaders are brought to trial in international courts.
“Israel is implementing a strategy of total destruction of a city and its people,” Erdogan said. “I say openly that Israel is a terrorist state.”
The Turkish leader described Hamas militants as “resistance fighters” trying to protect their lands and people.
Turkey recently normalized relations with Israel but its war with Hamas in Gaza has again strained their ties. Israel recalled its diplomats from Turkey last month after Erdogan accused Israel of committing war crimes. Turkey later also recalled its ambassador from Israel.

Live updates | Israeli tanks and soldiers search Gaza's Shifa Hospital compound
Weeks after sending tanks and ground troops into northern Gaza, Israeli forces entered a hospital where they claim Hamas militants operate.apnews.com
I do get what you are trying to state here, but I just want to point out that any conventional military worth their salt is guaranteed to already have the int they require before going into any conventionally protected site else it's a war crime. Israel notified the ICC and the UN long ago it had the 'receipts'. They've probably also provide some of those receipst to those entities in addition to the US (which we know has received it). They then took the nexts steps required IAW LoAC, GCs and IHL - they effected the required "notification" of the lapse of "protected designation" due to illegal use of hospital/ambulances etc by the enemy (Hamas) for military purposes (unlawful actions during conflict/war crimes), issued the required calls and notices to evacuate the lapsed-protected sites in order to minimize civilian casualties, then went in. All is IAW international law.
They had the int proof prior, they are now gathering the physical proof.
Some people may not like that what they did is actually in compliance with international law, but that doesn't negate the fact that it is/was lawful.
The reason that law and convention will remain as such is that it prevents/minimizes the risk of conventional armies (Israel is conventional) in future wars from avoiding the consequences of their actions by hiding in/under/on/ and amongst innocent non-combattant populations and protected sites. If International Law ever allowed for "absolutely no fighting in/under protected sites for any reason" then the cowards of war-fighting (unconventional militaries, guerilla armies and terrorist organisations) will forever shelter and fight from within those protected sites to save their own sorry butts and nobody would ever be able to do anything about it - the wars would indeed become never-ending and the casualty toll upon innocent civilians even greater.
Now, we all know that the terrorist organization that is Hamas never has and never will comply with International Law, IHL, LoAC or the Geneva Conventions and ergo there will always remain the allowance for legitimate lapsing of protected sites status' when an enemy chooses to commit war crimes by placing those targets there. The enemy doesn't just get a "bye" in the fight because they choose to cower and hide amongst civilians and protected sites. What is Israel to do ... sit outside the hospital for decades until the terrorists all die off? That's simply not feasible.
As for the optics ... the IDF didn't go in there for the optics (the usual suspects gave them some pretty bad 'optics' about the whole thing no? and they have surely suffered for it worldwide on the 'condemnation scale'), they went in there to deal with the legitimate military structure threats.
The optics won't change however because the group that has now proven it was right to the world ... is ... Israel. The same players condemning them from the get-go all knew full well what the truth was before Israel even entered Gaza and thats why they don't want anybody leaving the Gaza strip IMO. The know and knew the truth, it's just not considered PC to actually speak it.
IMO (got my 'miitary planner' hat on thinking this one through), the hostages were moved southwards the moment Israel asked everyone to evacuate south. Hamas knew the hostages would be safer and thus 'worth more for longer' as their baragainning chips once moved to the south. Don't forget they still had the hospital patients and the ordinary Gazan civilians to use, and whom they did use, as their shields in the north.
Sinwar is in Gaza. Either way, he's knows what we know and probably more. I'm sure his "friends" tell him everything. What I meant was, he's demanding IDF withdraw from al-Shifa, but I don't see a realistic plausible way to prove that (especially, since he's in hiding in Qatar).

Ohh. Probably so.Sinwar is in Gaza. Either way, he's knows what we know and probably more. I'm sure his "friends" tell him everything.
Could he be somewhere around that hospital complex?Sinwar is in Gaza. Either way, he's knows what we know and probably more. I'm sure his "friends" tell him everything.
Some of the footage from inside the hospital gives the impression that a lot of men don't know which way to run, but they definitely seem like they want to run away.I love this Col. Jonathan Conricus.
IMO his precise information, his calm demeanor, his mastery of English, (even colloquial English, and we know he speaks Swedish as well), make him a clear, concise and excellent IDF spokesman.
It’s been my opinion from the start that Hamas will infiltrate with the civilians evacuating Gaza. It’s just inevitable for people who spend their entire lives in deceit and trickery and are immersed in evil. I believe many have escaped by posing as frightened Gazans, but they will reacquire weapons, through Iran perhaps, and bide their time until they again ambush Jews.
As to guns—-all my life in NYC it’s been uncommon for law-abiding, civilian NYers to have guns. I have never held a gun, although my former husband had a permit because he ran a cash meat business in a tough neighborhood. But I would not touch it.
My cousin is a retired FBI agent whose gun I have seen, but he wouldn’t have let me touch it even if I’d wanted to.
But if I lived in Israel now, I feel I would have to get a gun and training in how to use it. I would hate it, truly, not being from a gun culture, but the situation in Israel is too dangerous now.
Imo
What does it meanIn exchange for the hostages, Israel would agree to a three-to-five-day pause “in place” in the fighting, increased humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the release of an unspecified number of women and children held in Israeli prisons.
These terms are pretty vague...
Hamas has agreed in principle and Israel is now considering a proposal for the release of at least 50 women and children among about 240 foreign and Israeli hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza, according to an Arab diplomat familiar with the negotiations.
In exchange for the hostages, Israel would agree to a three-to-five-day pause “in place” in the fighting, increased humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the release of an unspecified number of women and children held in Israeli prisons.
Amid reports that agreement on at least some components of a deal may be near, U.S. officials and other interested parties spent much of Wednesday awaiting word from Israel, where internal discussions were said to be underway.
A statement by Lapid’s Yesh Atid party countered by saying that the Likud has “probably missed the point,” Haaretz newspaper reported, as “Lapid proposed a government led by the Likud, with a Likud prime minister who is not Netanyahu. That is how we will begin the national healing.”It is regrettable and shameful that Lapid is engaging in politics during a time of war, proposing to oust the prime minister that leads the campaign and replace him with a government that would establish a Palestinian state and would allow the Palestinian Authority to control Gaza.
Absolutely, but ALSO they must release all the hostages.Best thing Hamas can do is to surrender.
Could he be somewhere around that hospital complex?
Those look like mostly able-bodied healthy young men. Were they separated from the women, girls, and elderly prior to this footage? Some of the footage from inside the hospital gives the impression that a lot of men don't know which way to run, but they definitely seem like they want to run away.
If they round everyone up and gather them outside the hospital, IDF can use facial recognition software to separate the terrorists from civilians. I'm curious how many terrorists will be discovered.
They've found terrorist leaders in holes in the ground before, and he has to sleep sometime...With him being #1 Enemy of the State, Israel’s #1 target, I think he is verrryyyyy well hidden.
Who’s that Hamas leader they call “The Guest” because he changes where he sleeps every night?
Don’t want to sound like a broken record lol, so I’ll just say one last time that my guess is Sinwar is in Egypt, as he has strong ties to that country and their government leaders, has spent time there, the tunnels go to Egypt…
If not in Egypt, and in Gaza, he’s in the most secure place you can imagine.
Hehe I was going to make a similar hole in the ground comment. They've found terrorist leaders in holes in the ground before, and he has to sleep sometime...![]()
Good question. It's possible that they all quickly changed into civilian clothing and started running around the hospital pretending to be civilians seeking refuge - perhaps they are the human shields? Perhaps not. Those look like mostly able-bodied healthy young men. Were they separated from the women, girls, and elderly prior to this footage?
