The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have said that 12 hostages, including 10 Israelis and two foreign nationals, are on their way to Israeli territory.

An IDF statement reads:

According to the information provided by the Red Cross, 12 hostages, including 10 Israeli hostages and two with foreign citizenship, are on their way to Israeli territory.
The Times of Israel’s Emanuel Fabian has a list of the 10 Israeli hostages who have reportedly been released tonight:

From CNN’s Abeer Salman in Jerusalem

Thirty Palestinian detainees are expected to be released from Israeli prisons on Tuesday as the Israel-Hamas truce continues, according to information released by both the Palestinian Prisoners Club and the Israeli prison authorities.

The people set to be released include 15 women and 15 male children, who are all under 18 years old and considered children under international law.

After reading how the kids were tormented in captivity, I can only imagine what the adult men and young adult women are enduring, physically and psychologically. Dafna and Ela told their Mom that the monsters holding them told them they can’t go home because nobody wants them. As reported in Israeli newspaper.

So the ratio is not 1x3?
The one Russia-Israeli was dealed separatley by Russia. Likewise the Thai's and other foreigner released via negotiations by their governmet directly through their Iranian government contacts.

1/3 are the Israeli-Hamas hostages negotiated via Qatar.

Hamas is a violent and radical terrorist organization responsible for raping, kidnapping and murdering over a thousand innocent Israelis. They are also responsible for grave human rights abuses against Palestinians in Gaza. The face of evil behind Hamas’ terror? Yahya Sinwar.#FreeGazazFromHamas

Are they out of children?

...
They are only out of the children they can 'find' or the children they handed off to another terrorist faction.

Time is ticking --- Hamas better hope it 'finds' those 'missing kids' and those 'traded kids' PDQ.

Two days goes by fast and Israel is, as it has every right in the world to do, going to continue in the Gaza to 'find' the rest of the hostages themselves and is coming for Hamas too while they are at it. It is their duty to their citizens, to the hostages and also their sacred obligation to their Hamas-held POWs.

Never leave a man (or woman [or child]) behind. Full stop.

Edit: Fix darn typos and missed letters. Darn SLE has my fingers, arms and hands not working good at all lately.

When you say "as reported in an Israeli newspaper" it truly doesn't mean very much without independent corroboration.

And there is none of that.

The Israel Defense Forces announces the deaths of three soldiers who were abducted by Hamas on October 7.

They are: Staff Sgt. Tomer Yaakov Ahimas, 20, from Lehavim; Sgt. Kiril Brodski, 19, from Ramat Gan; and Sgt. Shaked Dahan, 19, from Afula.
The three were killed on October 7 and the military’s chief rabbi declared their deaths based on various findings obtained by the IDF.

The mother of Sgt. Shaked Dahan, a soldier missing since October 7 who the army declared dead on Tuesday along with two others, writes on Facebook that she will not observe the traditional seven-day Jewish mourning period until her son’s body is returned from Gaza.

“I did for you what I needed to as a mother. I managed to keep you safe and protect you in many situations,” writes Sigalit Gal. “You’ve been taken from me forever. They took you and didn’t bother to return you, not even your body.”

“They don’t respect you, don’t respect the family and certainly not the state,” she adds. “I’ve decided I will not sit shiva until your body is returned.”

The army said Tuesday that Staff Sgt. Tomer Yaakov Ahimas, 20, Sgt. Kiril Brodski, 19, and Dahan, 19, were “fallen soldiers held hostage by a terror group,” after earlier listing them as abducted.

The military’s chief rabbi declared their deaths based on various findings obtained by the IDF, but only Yaakov Ahimasm and Brodski can be buried according to Jewish law.

How can they find the hostages if the tunnels are blown up and treated with sponge bombs?

I think the only chance to bring alive hostages is through negotiations.

OMG
The pup was a hostage too?? o_O
I'm surprised the dog was returned. I really am.
Not only does Islam considers dogs to be unclean, the pup would need to be routinely taken outside to do its duty.
I'm glad it's been returned.

The Russian captive had to dig himself out of a bombed out building.

I sincerely hope not, but there is no guarantee others might not have been so lucky considering the apocalyptic landscape of Gaza now.
