30 ambassadors to Israel meet wounded victims in Tel Aviv hospital

Thirty ambassadors from European, South American, and Asian countries visit Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv in an expression of support for the wounded.

Ichilov CEO Prof. Ronni Gamzu gives the group a tour of the hospital’s underground hospital facility, where some patients are already being treated.

“This allows us to keep the medical services intact, the best way, and in a protected facility,” he explains.

Gamzu says despite 30 years as a doctor, he has never encountered anything like what happened on October 7: “I have been in wars. I have been in operations. I have gone into battle zones. Things like this I have never seen… It was terror. It was brutal.”

The ambassadors also meet with two people who were shot as Hamas terrorists attacked partygoers at the Supernova festival near Re’im.

Shirel Gabai recounts being shot in the leg as she hid with many others in a small bomb shelter. She sat curled up with dead bodies on top of her until she was rescued.

Tomer Zadik, whose arm was bandaged and in a sling tells the group that the attack had nothing to do with the Israel-Palestine conflict: “I am not a soldier. I am a civilian who went to a music festival with friends to celebrate love, peace, and freedom… What happened was an attack on humanity.”

“The 20 children we saw at Beeri. After they tired their hands down behind. After they abused them. They put them in a pile and burned them.”

We are their witnesses and we will make sure that every single person knows what these evil animals did to them.

Don't know if I inserted this correctly as I’m not on Instagram.

It is audio but graphic, do not listen if it will trigger. Very short but I can feel it in my bones.

I keep reading that Hamas are not supported by Palestinians.

My question is has the Palestinian people ever had non- terrorist leaders? It really doesn't appear so. Its odd to me that a group of people that supposedly want to lead a peaceful existence have so much death, terror and destruction committed in their name.

We have no way of knowing if the 2007 election was a free and fair election. I seriously doubt that it was.

Hamas is just the latest. Palestinian terrorism goes way back

Palestinian groups that have been involved in politically motivated violence include the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), Fatah, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command (PFLP-GC), the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Abu Nidal Organization, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas.[12] Several of these groups are considered terrorist organizations by the United States government,[13] Canada,[14] the United Kingdom,[15] Japan,[16] New Zealand[17] and the European Union.[18][19]

I have a super hard time seeing Palestinians as innocent victims.

Gilad Shalit

A video that explains the negotiations undertaken to get him home. He was exchanged for 1027 prisoners. The number of prisoners that Hamas managed to get back in return for releasing Gilad, is the very reason that Hamas is now stating, "We have enough to free all Palestinian prisoners" (referring to the hostages they now hold **Note that this is a War Crime).

Amazing story of survival after five years in captivity and what he did to stay alive, games he invented, maps he drew to remember his home (when he had writing materials, etc.

And also for his family who waited five years for his return.

"Both of his parents spoke about their son’s time in captivity. “When I ate, I wondered, did Gilad eat?” his mother said. “Did he drink? It’s with me 24 hours a day.”

I agree. They are literally stuck in the middle.

The thing HAMAS is counting on though is the world's reaction to no supplies being allowed in. It is not their fault in the world's eyes.. it's Israel's fault or Egypt, or everyone else but them. They can push their propaganda that Israel is bombing the crossing, Egypt won't allow the crossing to open, etc. People forgetting that HAMAS begin this horrific ordeal and they can somehow look better because they will release hostages if Israel stops bombing, if supplies are allowed in, etc. They are likely the ones causing the supplies to not be in Gaza yet. This is what frustrates me.. the media jumps on all these sensational headlines and Israel ends up looking like the bad guys.
Totally agree. Hamas was able to stockpile weapons, stock their tunnels and plan for this attack for sometime. Moo, using humanitarian aid/$$ meant for it's citizens.

Why are we not blaming Hamas for not stockpiling food, water and supplies for it's people? They knew the potential outcome of an attack. Hum....could it be part of their plan to rid Gaza of citizens and take total control.

Why are we blaming Israel for Egypt not opening their border? They clearly do not want to allow potential terrorist into their homeland. Jordan doesn't want them. Has anyone spoken up to house these refugees?

Why should Israel continue to supply water to terrorist holding it's people hostage? Humanitarian aid, we say....wheres the humanity in holding hostages, babies, children, no less?

Hamas knew an attack would result in retaliation, they are not fools. They did not plan to feed, house and provide medical care, knowing the outcome. Now they blame the world for the position they have created.

I have great sympathy for the Gaza people. But, as they blame others for the perils they are experiencing, rather than the terrorist who rule their territory, I understand why they are imprisoned within Gaza.

All my opinion

Grand Mufta

The Arabs were Germany’s natural friends, Haj Amin al-Husseini told the Nazi leader in 1941, because they had the same enemies — namely the English, the Jews and the Communists

Gallant in message to Hamas terrorists: Surrender or die

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant speaks to pilots at the Nevatim airbase in southern Israel, October 17, 2023. (Ariel Hermoni/Defense Ministry)

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant speaks to pilots at the Nevatim airbase in southern Israel, October 17, 2023. (Ariel Hermoni/Defense Ministry)

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says members of the Hamas terror group have two options in the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip: to surrender or to die.

“Our planes will reach everywhere… every missile has an address. We will reach each and every one of the members of Hamas,” Gallants says to pilots and technicians of the Israel Air Force’s F-35 fleet at the Nevatim airbase.

“Hamas members have two options: Either die in their positions or surrender unconditionally. There is no third option. We will wipe out the Hamas organization and dismantle it of all its capabilities,” Gallant says.

"... each missile has an address."

BBM Hamas did stockpile water, food, medications, cash. For themselves. IMO

That's his choice but I feel horrible that this man has chosen to put the life of that little boy sitting behind him in danger.
Where do you expect him to go? He and his family are victims no matter whether they stay or leave.

Agreed.
It's the 'elephant in the room'.
The elephant who has lived there for many years.

What the Palestinians who do not agree with Hamas (and others of their ilk) need to do now is: Speak out !
Condemn them.

Maybe the residents of Gaza are afraid, and I don't fault them for that, but in that case --if possible, apply for citizenship in another country and move.
And then continue to condemn Hamas, and reveal what they do to the ordinary people in Gaza.
I don't doubt there are some Palestinians who want to see a better future for their children and an end to this Hamas madness -- they need to be strong and rise up against the terrorists.
Omo.

Maybe he is a victim or maybe he is allowing himself and his family to be used as a human shield. We really don't know. In any case, I would rather my children be alive and have to rebuild then crushed beneath a building - but that would be my choice.
