How many civilians has Israel killed excluding Hamas soldier militants, 550 misfired missiles from Hamas into Gaza, and the Hamas misfire into the Gaza hospital?

I suspect that the number is low.
5,087 Includes all of Gaza. (I believe 1500 more were killed since this article)

2,000 are children https://www.cnn.com/2023/10/24/middleeast/israel-hamas-gaza-war-tuesday-intl-hnk/index.html

Israel: 1,400 212 kidnapped

The number killed in Israel has held steady.

Horrifying footage shows Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin after Hamas terrorist blew off his arm and then bundled him into the back of a truck - as heartbroken dad says 'we have no proof of life'

  • The parents of the 23-year-old Israeli-American young man remain laser focused on getting their son back home
  • New footage from the morning of the Hamas attack shows Hersh, with his left arm blown off, being loaded into the bed of a pickup truck
  • They say they are fighting to maintain the hope that he is alive in Gaza, but struggle to keep negative thoughts at bay

On October 7, Israel gave warning. They said to the people in the North of Gaza "Get out!" They have dropped a forest worth of leaflets. They've said repeatedly, "Get out." It's absurd to accuse them of giving no warning. At a certain point in time, you have to assume that the people who are there aren't leaving, and the military actions must proceed. Those who support hamas are hamas, not Innocent civilians.
Yes, they gave a warning for Palestinians civilians to "Get out" and then proceeded to lob air strikes at civilians who DID evacuate to refugee safe houses. Israel gave NO Warning they intended to target refugee camps.

Amnesty International is very knowledgable about International laws of war. Nothing absurd about them at all. Nothing absurd about the UN Security Council also concerned at Israel's "collective punishment" of civilians and an unlawful blockade of the Gaza/Egypt border that has gone on for 16 years.

While condemning the "horrific crimes committed by Hamas", the group said that Israel had resorted to "indiscriminate military attacks against the already exhausted Palestinian people of Gaza".

"They have lived under unlawful blockade for 16 years, and already gone through five major brutal wars, which remain unaccounted for," the group, which includes several U.N. special rapporteurs, said in a statement.
"This amounts to collective punishment. There is no justification for violence that indiscriminately targets innocent civilians, whether by Hamas or Israeli forces. This is absolutely prohibited under international law and amounts to a war crime."

President Biden said he doesn’t have confidence that death-toll numbers being released by the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry are accurate. “I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed. I’m sure innocents have been killed and it’s the price of waging a war,” Biden said during a news conference.

I agree. Nothing works. The Palestinians have rejected two state solution, several times. More land. Less land. Hamas doesn’t want land. They want Israel gone. Off the map. And every last Jewish person dead.
Now it's time for Israel to have support regarding boundaries, and to be released from any and all expectation to provide anything to Gaza people.

Gaza is within their boundaries!

I guess they could just turn it lose and see what happens!
That's what I say!

ANDREW NEIL: Those who seek to deny the horror of Hamas's modern-day Holocaust are dragging the world into a new dark age

I can’t even fathom the amount of hate in this world right now. I am so very grateful that I had parents who taught me to be kind, love my neighbor and to have religious tolerance, tolerance in general. My dad was career Navy and we lived all over the world, including the Middle East. We never lived in Base housing or on base because my mom, thankfully, was an anti base housing snob. We always lived in a community off base. As a young child, I played peacefully with Northern African children, Greek children, Turkish children, Cypriot children. My mother also befriend many mother’s of these children and we all lived in harmony. I don’t remember any hate what so ever. Even though I can remember our family having to flee Cyprus and cut short my dad’s tour early because of turmoil stirring between the Turks and Cypriots - I didn’t understand why. Part of it was because I wasn’t old enough to understand, but also too - children who are raised to love, usually don’t live to hate. They don’t understand it because hate wasn’t taught or ingrained into them.

I’m getting up there in age. I don’t know the answers or solutions to any of these conflicts/wars. They have happened since the beginning of mankind. It’s a shame that we humans haven’t learned to be more successful in living with our differences. I’ve never seen this degree of hatred in all my years. I thought we had learned from past atrocities. It’s a sad turning point in our world. I know atrocities happen in war, but to this degree? Children all over the world need to be taught love, kindness, acceptance and tolerance or we are soon going to be wiped out.

I was responding to his video.
I saw differing reports on those killed at the hospital. A Reuters Reporter embedded in the US intel community said 100-300. Keep in mind some were taken to other hospitals where they died. (Sorry, I do not blindly trust Israel. I've seen some of their spin myself.) Even their Foreign Minister has had to retract some tweets. Their FM put memes on his official tweets! Sorry, our SOS does not put memes on tweet to the best of my knowledge.

ETA: Found his tweet

Unclassified U.S. intelligence report, seen by Reuters, estimates deaths from Gaza hospital blast 'probably at the low end of 100-to-300 spectrum'.

Biden doesn't know the exact amt, so he's not gonna be a dummy and speculate like me!

Agreed, and yes I understand.

There are times a few radicals will make it hard for the more peaceful elements ?
There are varying levels of radicals, though.
Some are far worse than others.
Some will march with signs, shout through a megaphone, or block highways.
Others will paraglide into a neighbor who had done them no wrong and slaughter innocents, sparing no one-- neither the elderly nor the unborn.
Omo.
Agree 100%

Now, what would really shock me to my core, would be to see a headline in the DM like:
"British guy encounters a handful of protesters in London".

The US has said 100-300 died at the hospital.
I tend to believe the 6500 number. I know it includes terrorists and misfires etc. So, I would notch it down to 5,000 civilians
550 misfires means up to 550 homes, hospitals, or apartment buildings in Gaza that could have been hit by Hamas misfires. If every house has 6 children, thats already 3300 people out of 5000 - 6500. If every apartment has 100 - 300 units with children - more people, and every hospital has 300 people, add in the deaths of a few hundred murderers and family members who remained in Gaza City. It doesn't take long to get to 6500. I think the civilian death toll from Israeli rockets is low, excluding family of terrorists who remained in Gaza City. I curious whether civilian deaths due to rockets in Gaza may be tied to deaths in terrorists' homes ... families who did not evacuate.

<modsnip> These terrorists have been around most all of my life. They're relentless. With age there is wisdom. I met my husband who is Jewish back in '77. We were rather controversial on both sides of our families, mine Catholic with a German last name and his Russian Jews. I thought we did a pretty good job to defuse our families over the years by just being ourselves. I rather liked my interesting unique last name that I married into. Until now. It's unsettling to see this much hate out there. It's unsettling to see Americans turning on Americans. I don't recall too many Israeli Jews highjacking planes or cruise ships in the 70's. They're a peaceful people. They deserve to live in peace.
BBM. <modsnip: Quoted post was modsnipped> The Muslim immigrants from the Mideast that I have known since I began college in 1970 have never highjacked planes or cruise ships. Hateful attacks on Muslims, mosques in the U.S. have been happening for decades. They are a peaceful people who deserve to live and worship in peace.

Terrorists have always existed, and the basis usually involves politics about race, religion, culture, social issues.

<modsnipped: politicizing>
