So, IMO, humane responses should be directed at humans.
You did see all the thousands of civilian men in Gaza who participated in abusing and violating the kidnapped Israelis once they were hauled across the border?

As for families, you did see that Israel gave multiple warnings in Arabic, warning them to leave for their own safety?

Did Hamas notify Israelis, in Hebrew, that they should leave their kibbutzes before they were attacked?

This seems very asymmetrical to me .
We'll have to agree to disagree.

Civilians are civilians in the U.S. We have the right to express our opinion and not be executed as a result.

My objection is to the continuing, military slaughter of civilians in Gaza, thousands of them are women and children.

It is very unfortunate. But I don't see an alternative. Hamas is going to be destroyed. It Hamas that chooses to hide amongst the civilians.
There is no way to totally destroy Hamas just as there was no way to totally destroy ISIS or Hezbollah. It is a global network, which is why other countries are concerned about their travel.

Two dozen American military personnel were wounded last week in a series of drone attacks at American bases in Iraq and Syria, U.S. Central Command told NBC News on Tuesday.

The Pentagon confirmed the attacks last week, but the number of U.S. casualties has not been previously disclosed.

Twenty American personnel sustained minor injuries on Oct. 18 when at least two one-way attack drones targeted al-Tanf military base in southern Syria, CENTCOM said.

One of the drones was shot down. All of the wounded personnel were returned to duty, CENTCOM said, and there was no damage to any military installations.

On that same day, another four American personnel suffered minor injuries during two separate drone attacks against U.S. and coalition forces stationed at al-Asad base in western Iraq, CENTCOM said.

Perhaps not. But it may be possible to drive them out of Gaza. And that would be huge for a step towards peace, because then real negotiations would at least be possible.

Their government Hamas has fuel, food and tunnels that can protect and feed citizens in Gaza. Do they NO.

Hamas can release All hostages and the bombing will stop.

The world has feed the people for Gaza years, while Hamas uses funds for war.

Hamas has created a society of hate, anger, and violence against Israel for years. Israel has Allowed Hamas to use it's border for food, fuel and medical needs in spite of their hate/violence.

Yes, the bombing needs to stop and the citizens of Gaza can and should rise up, speak up but no they support Hamas.

It shocks me that such a reminder is needed.

With Israel appearing to be on the cusp of a ground invasion into Gaza, President Joe Biden and other world leaders this week said the Jewish state has the right to defend itself against the recent brutal attacks by Hamas.

At the same time, they warned, Israel must abide by the "law of war" in protecting innocent Palestinians living in Gaza.

Rather than drive them to other countries, the way to destroy Hamas is to destroy their source of money and their leadership. Hopefully, that happens sooner rather than later.

New YorkCNN —
The United States along with some Middle Eastern nations are stepping up efforts to target a “secret” Hamas investment portfolio government officials believe to be worth up to $1 billion.

To target the Hamas investment portfolio, a US official said Tuesday the Treasury Department is working with members of the Gulf Cooperation Council: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

Following the Hamas terror attacks on Israel, US and Saudi officials convened an emergency meeting on Tuesday in Riyadh of the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center, which includes the United States and the GCC nations. The meeting was originally scheduled to take place in November.

My guess? This son of Netanyahu would be the number one target of Hamas if he returned to Israel. Kinda like Prince Harry when he was 'fighting' in the Royal Navy....

He's staying put, no doubt
Color me cynical....

- Israel has always had a communal approach to military service in the past. Everybody served- no exceptions. Everybody then becomes a life long reservist- no exceptions.

- But... everything changes. Evidently in recent years (well, before the terror attacks), a certain number of Israelis had dwindling enthusiasm for military service. Exemptions were then made easier to get- just to avoid head ache draftees.

- Netanyahu, however is a former Special Forces officer with a "get tough" image in regards to everything. Junior's absence is the polar opposite of that image.

In short..... something just does not seem right. Sure, he would be a nice target for HAMAS. But, there are ways around that:

- Junior is proudly serving in the Israeli navy. Alas, Junior's duty has placed him on a ship faaaar offshore keeping an eye out for anybody trying to sneak weapons to Hamas. Uhmm.... no, they have not found anything- at least not yet. You never know- right?

"The Middle East is on the verge of a large-scale war.

Who cares about conflict?

There are several actors and each has different reasons.

First of all - the Kremlin. Because it 'relieves' the territory of Ukraine, reducing the attention of the US.

Secondly: Beijing, which will not miss the opportunity to kick the USA in the ankle.

And thirdly, although to a lesser extent, Tehran itself, which is counting on the interruption of the peace process between Israel and Saudi Arabia - says the expert.

It is not known how countries such as Iraq and Syria would behave, but if they became involved in a potential armed conflict, Turkey, which has its interests in the north of Iraq and Syria, would probably not remain indifferent either.

So there are several pieces to the puzzle.

In the current situation, the atmosphere is very difficult and to avoid a collision, both sides would have to slow down, but for now they are accelerating.

From a Middle Eastern perspective, the current war is sacred.

Further escalation is inevitable because it is seen as absolutely necessary.
This is the opinion of the street.

Therefore, the sacrifice that will be made on the altar of war will determine how the fight will go and who will win.

Whoever submits a larger one will have greater claims under moral law in the future.

From the Middle Eastern perspective, this is a huge achievement -
says the creator of the Abhaseed Foundation, which deals with the Middle East and North Africa.

He argues that the current war benefits Russia and China the most.

For a simple reason:
Moscow hopes to gain some breathing space on the front of the war with Ukraine.
That's why it helps Iran support Syria.

In turn, China would be happy to see the failure of American Middle Eastern policy and the countries in the region to deepen their relations with the authorities in Beijing.

He adds that Iran loses nothing in this war.
Even if it spreads more widely in the region, the authorities in Tehran are ready to bear the consequences.

And these will be acceptable as long as Iran is able to use only allied militias in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen and Gaza."

Personally, I would hope that no innocent person lose their life.

How could Israel destroy Hamas without going into Gaza?

Will the Palestinians handle Hamas and remove them?

Hamas started the war. Hamas hides in civilian areas. How will they be culled?

What are you suggesting? Intentional collateral damage?
That is not the answer.
