Seems there's some rumors that Raffaele could get another look at his case. I sure hope not, I hope his trying to separate himself from Amanda is seen as proof of both their guilt.
His lawyer comparing him to Forest Gump is laughable, there is no comparison there. Besides when he spoke to the Nencini court, he somewhat denied being that way.

Because many experts in international law and extradition believe that it amounts to double jeopardy. Therefore extraditing her would violate her constitutional rights.
This isn't me saying this, it is the experts saying this. There are quoted links upthread to support this.

Meh. Follow enough trials and one learns that even 'experts' can be wrong - sometimes embarrassingly so, as a few recent murder trials exemplify.

There are also several legal experts that feel the US has no cause to deny extradition so really, it will come down to which experts are indeed correct in their knowledge of case law and extradition. There's a lot of solid ground to believe she will be extradited. Rarely are extradition requests denied.

My prediction: the convictions are upheld by the the Italian system. But will be thrown out by international courts. AK will never step foot inside an Italian prison. RS will be freed once international courts bring justice once and for all to this tragic case.

We only deny extradition requests when it involves Communist countries usually..or sometimes middle eastern countries that arent democratic enough ( Not being westernized enough). In other words countries that we aren't currently getting along very well with. JMO

Which is why I would have figured Amanda would have made her a little vacation about now to a communist country..Can't say I wouldn't have..and I don't think anything could have really stopped her could it? I mean she has no house arrest or conditions here in the US does she?

Ecuador was going to take snowden...thats where I would have went..beautiful place to spend the rest of your life.
