Jail Video 2/9: Tommy Croslin, Hank Sr. Part 1 & 2

  • #121
Let's give a GOLD STAR to the lesser of evils.....

MC family...Timmy/TC/Cousin Joe....Lindsey/Chelsea/Lisa
RC/TN/GGS....

they are all lying......

Once HC acts like a father and DEMANDS the truth from his kids in jail, especially the daughter....

then the truth will come out and blame can be spread all over the place. LP should tell HC I will give you all the drugs you want if you can get your family to tell the truth.

chester, you have mentioned that you met Lindsey iirc. Did she lie to you that day?

just curious & tia

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Hank Croslin Sr, to his credit, yes I said credit - is trying to get Misty to clear things up. He can't force her to do so anymore than you can, or LE has been able to either for that matter.

How can I be sure if she did or did not? So many stories/facts/rumours out there....I know one thing for sure she loves her husband and it appears thru all the LOVE they are saving their own butts by keeping the truth from being revealed.

I am not taking sides between the families......I honestly do not care for any of these people... I only care about where is Haleigh....

You can talk bad about the Croslins all you want; however; they are there asking questions. When was the last time you heard ron ever questioned by anyone in his family for anything? His mom and GMA visit and warns him he has a snitch nearby...good grief. They also are proud of him...GMAB

The Croslins are out there....doing something, more than any member of rc's family. Despite their poor choices and problems, they don't appear to be mean. They appear more genuine in their emotions than the Cummings clan.

....Theft in the family genes??

UPPERDURALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAOROF
:tipsy::tipsy::tipsy::tipsy::tipsy:

Is it just me, or does papa look like he has been snorting something? He sure fidgets with that noes a lot. Does he wear the shades to hide his pupils??????

So many questions, so few answers.........

Papa did look like he had been snorting. He kept wiping his nose, sniffing the snot up but he was not crying at the point. He either wears the shades to hide his pupils or b/c the light can hurt your eyes when u are high. Daddy said he didnt realize how bad pills were until he saw tommy on them. He also said he should have known better than to get inolved in one of mistys deal scheme, something like that. Misty admitted to the UC that Ronald wasnt so worried about the UC setting them up but HER FAMILYWAS so they knew what the hell she was up to . They also told the UC "he goes to the VA every month and gets 200 but he will only let me have 100. WHO goes to the VA? What is daddys disabilty? If he were out of work due to a work related injury he would be getting workers comp pay not unemployment. If Misty& the rest of the gang grew up with parents who doctor shop, well, the apple did not fall from the tree. And Ronald asked the UC if he had snorted roxies & said if "you got any powder" he like to know cause he likes to get high. Nancy said she would have to fight with an angel if an angel came down and told Ron knew about Haleigh.

I feel sorry for this family. They have been dragged into this investigation and the pressure has been put on them because of Misty. Hank got hooked no doubt about it, but my hope is he realizes he needs to clean it up. They have gone from living a life of poverty and scratching two nickels together to make a dime to a 1/2 step from living in a cardboard box. Hank is crying out of complete despair.

Misty has pointed the finger and caused problems for all of them. The high bonds that were off the wall high and the constant pressure on them. I do not believe Tommy could hurt Haleigh. When I see him and his dad telling each other they love one another. That is real. The fact that they all got dragged into Misty and Ronald's mess, not able to get jobs, spiraled out of control it makes me wonder how any of them can function at this point. Hank looks close to a breakdown. I don't condone their stealing and drug use but I know that when the monkey is on your back this is what happens.

My belief is this family is collateral damage not involved in what happened to Haleigh. This video is sad.

I don't feel sorry for any of them.. Hank CHOOSE to doctor shop so he would have plenty of pills to get high on & possibly sell or share with Misty or Ronald or Tommy. Mommy knew she was stealing & cashing checks when she did it, she did that all on her own. I don't know far mom, dad, Tim or Tom got in school but we know Misty dropped out in 6th grade b/c it was hard for her. I suspect it was with so little structure in her life. Each parent needs to take a hard look at their kids and say "this is MY fault" because it is the lifestyle they were born into. I do think they love each other but I think Hank is worried about how he is going to get his hands on drugs now. I would give him & mama a job but they show up on time & they woud argree to drug tested every single day at work.

I agree with everyone that this is hard to watch and very sad.

With that said, though, it seemed that H "needs T out" because he doesn't know what he and Mom are gonna do. Am I just terribly jaded or is H more concerned about his future than he is about Lindsey and her kids?

I didn't hear H say one time that T needs to get out to take care of Lindsey and the children.

I don't know - yes, it is sad...everything about it is sad.

But, Haleigh's disappearance is a tragedy.

(Just lamenting here - certainly not directed at any post or poster.)

That was my impression was well, need him out to care for him & moms

I honestly do not have a good opinion of the Croslins - any of them. I also do not have a good opinion of any of the Cummings either.

I do, however, feel very sorry for all of the children involved in this sorry mess, and worst of all for Haleigh.

Both families. from all outward appearances, seem beyone messed up. I mean could they be anymore dysfunctional?
I feel sorry for the children, all the children, especially Haleigh.

I have to have compassion regardless of what their daughter turned out like. I wasn't there I don't know what kind of parents they were I'm sure they made mistakes what parent does not? But I also know lots of good parents whose kids go bad. It is not always the fault of the parent. I work with families quite often who are devastated when their children take their own lives and do other things that get themselves killed. I don't automatically blame the parent. In fact it is my job to counsel them that they cannot blame themselves.

I would never deny a fellow human being, food for their table or an opportunity to make an honest wage. Poverty is not something most people know. When I work at the soup kitchen I don't judge who should get food based on what their criminal past is. And my point is with Hank and Lisa is what was their record before Haleigh went missing? They did not have criminal records before Misty decided to join up with Ronald and before Haleigh went missing. Before Misty got hooked. I don't think Hank is worried about his drugs. This has been very sobering for him. I think Hank is worried about his children whom he seems to love. I'm not going to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I pray to God that the collateral damage is over, that Haleigh is found and that people can heal. Because regardless of economic standing, education, and difference in cultural upbringing they are my fellow man. And seeing them hurt so makes me sad.

Yes, lillys, they are a dysfunctional family. Well, both the Croslins and the Cummings are.

I cannot in good conscience sit here and say that I admire any of them, or that I think it is okay that they all have committed crimes with the possible exception of Lindsey, Chelsea, and maybe Timmy. (although Timmy has mention something about jail in Virginia, IIRC)

None of them get a pass from me, nor do I have anything good to say about them.

grandmaj, I understand your compassion. I would offer food to anyone hungry also. I am not without compassion.

Offering food and maybe a $10 spot would be all I would do, tho. I guess I am just a hard person because I think the Croslins got themselves into this mess and should get themselves out. I have never, and will never feel sorry for anyone who has committed criminal acts. Lisa Croslin wrote bad checks and was arrested for it. She had stolen a purse and was arrested for it. Hank, Sr. was arrested for doctor shopping. Tommy has been arrested a few times. We know how Misty turned out.

There are plenty of people who have gotten out of jail and someone gave them a chance at a job. Heck, we have quite a few businesses here in my town that hire work release inmates from a halfway house. Hank, Sr. can get out there and work one day at a time. I simply do not buy that neither Lisa or Hank Croslin can't get a job anywhere.

I will help anyone that will help themselves, but I do not feel these two are even trying. Whether it is your son or daughter, I do not believe in petting criminals to death, and I believe that they (Lisa & Hank Croslin) are petting Misty and Tommy to death.

BTW, I love ya, grandmaj!! We have a difference of opinion on this, but it is a respectful difference of opinion!

Of course we can differ on opinion. You have great points! :blowkiss: I do not believe Lisa knows what to do except to mother. And mothering right now may not be the best thing for Misty. She shouldn't. I was very proud of her when she stood up and said she felt Misty knew something. And Hank is trying to get it through Misty's head that she needs to end this.

I do not condone any of the criminal acts. I really do not. That is why I have my hopes on LP to get keep them going without further criminal acts needed to survive. He has thrown them a lifeline. Now they have to prove they will move upward from here. Hopefully Hank will get it into his head he has to go find a job doing something. I get the feeling Lisa has never worked. With Hank's injury it will be difficult.

All I'm saying in all of this is they are people and I think they are hurting. And they are not suspects in Haleigh having gone missing. They may not have done all the right things but we are seeing now just how stubborn and headstrong Misty is. No one is going to budge her IMO.

I want Haleigh found. And hopefully those not involved can find a way to do things right in the future. I'm sad because they appear to not know how to help themselves and hurt for their children that it turned out this way.

grandmaj, I know you do not condone criminal behavior. And I know also that you just want Haleigh found.

I agree with you that Misty is a hard nut to crack and it appears that she is not going to.

One thing, tho, is Hanks injury. I was in a car accident that was not my fault, and the young guy that hit me almost head on did not have insurance. Our work insurance paid my hospital bill. My late husband had city insurance because he was a policeman with the city. I was a parish (county) employee, so the parish paid also. The bill was paid in full between both insurances. I worked for 10 years after my accident. I have a plate with 4 screws in my neck (3 neck surgeries), ulnar nerve surgery in each elbow, and knee surgery on my right knee. I know what injuries are. Of course I was in pain daily, but I was determined. I wanted to work until I was vested, and I did. I just take arthritis strength Tylenol for my pain and blood pressure meds (blood pressure meds courtesy of NG!).

Hank had knee surgery, or knee replacement. It has been a year, so he should be recovered by now. He looks healthy to me.

As for Lisa, well, I have a friend who is an administrator at a nursing home, and they have a hard time keeping enough help in the kitchen. That does not take a lot of experience or education. Being a housekeeper at a motel/hotel does not require an education. Neither of these jobs are consumer contact jobs. Someone should be able to offer Lisa a job.

I was also thinking it was great for Lisa to say that she thought Misty knew more than she was saying. But I do not hear her urging Misty to tell the truth now. I hear Hank, Sr. telling Tommy and Misty to tell the truth, but in the next breath saying they need to listen to their lawyers and do what the lawyers say, and their respective lawyers do not want them to 'talk' and tell what they know. They all know they are being recorded.

I think there is just a lot of BSing going on. You are a sweetheart, grandmaj, and I wish I were more like you. I may be too hard after working around inmates for 10 years.

Thanks, grandmaj!

No you aren't hard. They have to try really hard. I know one thing though here, I don't care what job you go for if you have an arrest record you are not hired. This is what I meant when I said the spiral..... continued vicious circle where the solutions became even more difficult.

Sleep well friend you aren't hard at all. Maybe more realistic than I want to be right now. :) I'm just praying for Haleigh to be found and the rest... well hopefully a window will open to show them a way to make their lives right. Thanks! Great Points!!! :bedtime: Get some sleep because I think in the coming weeks we will need it. WE all have spent so many nights not sleeping, when Haleigh is found it will be very difficult on all of us. And I have to believe she will be found.

Thank you for replying g'maj. I was losing control, and ready to do something ban-worthy just out of sheer frustration -- and shame and anger and well, just frustration.

FWIW (and to you all, it might be worth nothing)

This is a very small town in the middle of Florida. It doesn't have all the restaurants and hotels and attractions many of you associate with "Florida". We have scant public transportation. We have no jobs downtown. We have hardly anything at all left downtown. We have to travel over an hour away for advanced health care.

Hank and Lisa Croslin do not have family here. They don't have friends here. I don't even have a vague idea how long they have lived in this area, but they have not established a network of friends and others who can help them. The few friends they may have had, no doubt backed off ever since their daughter has been implicated in the "vanishing" of Haleigh.

Take a look around the internet. How many times and how many ways has Haleigh's mother's family been dragged through the mud? Too many for me to even begin to imagine what it must be like.

Why are we so ready to assume that the Croslins are guilty? There is no evidence to indicate any of them were involved except for Misty.

The rest of you can just go *poof* and pretend it never happened. Create a whole new persona, new nic, new avi, new URL. You won't look back because you don't have to.

A few of us don't have that option.

All it takes to start an avalanche is a small pebble.
The Croslins <by relation> are privy to information about Misty, who is the KEY to what happened to Haleigh.
By his own admission, Tommy IS connected to Haleigh. He placed himself at the mh on the night she went missing.
The Croslins are aware <per jailhouse tapes> there was drug activity going on in the home they were sharing with all those children.
What I'm trying to say is that the Croslins ARE guilty of criminal behavior. And I cannot work up alot of sympathy for them. It's all about choices.

Hey I am a guy and it gets to me. But then I think about the alleged burglary he pulled with a woman asleep in the house. Think how she feels about him to this day and how safe will she feel the rest of her life.
Doc, you said a mouth full,,,right there,,I tell you....How can anyone feel sorry for a family who plans and executes home invasion robberies,,,I guess it doesnt scare some but it scares me to death....These people KNOW what they are saying is going on national TV,,,give me a break,,,Hank sr is playing his words of which I highly doubt has much in the past said "I love you" to any of his kids,,,If he had they all wouldnt have ended up in the middle of a murder investigation....period.....They rob people in their homes, deal drugs ,,,how do you get any worst than that except murder,,,,,oh.yea. there is a murder of a sweet little baby involved......This entire family,,,Lindsy included is guilty of many things of which I PRAY they all go to prison,,,,,Lindsey knows where her hubby Tommy got their nice towels and such......I am so sick of this bunch but can't turn away until Haleigh is found.........For those of you feeling sympathy for this motley crue,,I hope you never experience the pure hell of fright of a home invasion like one of my dear friends did....To this day,,3 years later my friend cannot sleep and is under drs care.......Hank sr is acting like he is shakey from his own drugs,,and those sun glasses are not being worn to keep the sun out of his eyes in the jail,,,,,,

Some years ago my sister, her husband a 2 little ones were on vacation when their house was broken into. The predators took all of their spare keys, and sure enough about a month later came back for their cars!
They were so scared that they moved!

I must be one cold hearted b, because I dont feel a bit sorry for any of them. I feel sorry for the little kids that have to see Daddy through the jail glass. I feel bad for the taxpayers that have been paying for their 3 hots and a cot, and I feel sorry for my husband who wonders why in the hell-o I am here one year later trying to figure out what really happened to Haleigh.
We are not coldhearted Kellync,,,we are tired of these people doing their crimes and getting away with it...ie: tc said to Lindsey,",how about all that other "stuff" and I didnt get caught"......I was not aware Tommy went into a house with someone in bed alseep....I hope they throw the entire book at him,,,,,,get him off the street for a long time,,,and maybe, just maybe his kids will grow up with an education and a desent future,,not one of a lowly criminal like his father and grandfather., grandmother and aunt Misty........
