:floorlaugh: Did someone hold a gun to DM and MS' head and tell them they had to sit down, pick up the phone and talk to Molly? I would like to believe it was their choice as I am certain they have that right.

Maybe DM thought Dee had finally showed up. He was hoping for a conjugal visit. :winkkiss: Must get pretty lonely in segregation you know.

Molly seems very intelligent and brave to go face to face with potential serial killers. I would imagine she very much enjoys her job, her career choice; must get pretty exciting at times even if she does find some things creepy. MOO

Well first of all he would not have known who she was...for all he knew she may have been someone from his lawyers office HTH

Secondly, from the report it says that DM was STANDING...so I guess he did not sit down...

I doubt he will feel like getting excited in a visitors room surrounded by guards and perspex glass.... imo

How is it brave to face someone charged, when you are separated by a toughened glass with guards present? The zoo is more dangerous by that logic imo.... wild animals and rarely anyone guarding imo JMO

I don't just pull this stuff out of thin air BQ ... little bit of forensic psychology 101 al la Buller and Burgoon and others :floorlaugh:

<snip>

When a question can be answered Yes or No, and folks dance around it, it can be considered a form of manipulation.

Or there is no yes or no answer..... !!!!! There is black and there is white......and many shades of grey !!!!!!!:moo:

Or the question is ridiculous in the first place and doesn't deserve any answer....... JMO

Well if she had said that DM was an ugly, repulsive, uncollected, and unintelligible, it might have helped his case. After all, Tim Bosma probably wouldn't have gone out on a test drive with someone like that.

Why? he was looking to sell his truck...not looking to hook up ....jmo

Adding to this, he only stayed for 5 or 10 minutes, then waved to the guard to let him know he was done. I guess he wasn't too desperate for company.

The only reason she talked to MS for 15 or 20 minutes was because he twice tried to get the guard's attention to leave and couldn't, so he sat back down.

I think the visit must have been a disappointment to MS because to see the reporter, he would have given up one of only two visits, and he does have family and friends visit him. The way the reporter described his demeanor, it seemed as if he was expecting someone close to him as he let down his guard and appeared somewhat pathetic.

It's a pretty precious guy that uses the word "precious"...I would consider that somewhat flirty. I think DM must always have part of his mind set to recruiting a female fan club.

When I first heard the word "precious" used to describe the visit, I assumed he was being sarcastic.

Precious, there are so many people coming and he only has two precious visits a week

or

Precious, he's in solitary and sees so few visitors that any break from the monotony is precious?

I was thinking as in "awww, isn't that precious", kind of like "well, aren't you special". ;)

But, you'd have to hear him say it to have any idea of how it was said or meant.

Visits are rare he said.... as in a 'precious' few??

JMO, based on the jailhouse interviews and the jailhouse letter, my impression of DM is that he isn't grasping the reality or the situation he is in or facing. He seems like a smooth operator type of guy.... I get the feeling he thinks his lawyer is going to get him out of this one too.

Where as Smich, gets it. Maybe he is finally doing the right thing and telling the truth.

That's along the lines of my impressions, too. I think DM might be highly manipulative, whereas MS just fumbles along. DM's ego would let him think he could get away with the crimes he's committed, while MS knows it's over.

My impression exactly!

Or he or they are innocent.... jmo

Exactly. As the days go by (oh, have you heard about all the action at the Millard farm today?) I become more convinced that LE has the right men who committed such a horrible, senseless murder/s, but I reserve the right to change my mind if the evidence proves otherwise. Until that time I generally (but not always) preface statements about DM and MS' guilt with "might" or "most likely" or end them with "MOO". You should try the reverse - entertaining the thought that LE has two disgusting murderers in jail! :)

Just reported on CTV, I think I heard 54 barrels being removed from the property!

IF they had the right people they would already have sufficient evidence and not need to be going like the clappers trying to find a needle in several haystacks as seems to be the case.... They are investigating jet fuel now... I'm surprised they haven't dismantled the whole barn and tested it for blood spatter JMO 100 officers standing around waiting for lunchtime seems rather excessive to me.... jmo

Funny you see it that way. I see it as trying extremely hard to eliminate any possible, remote chance, that they could have the wrong guys.

So far no bail, what, twice for DM? The first was obviously turned down the Wed. after the trailer was found. No matter, he is apparently so guilty even his Counsel won't seek bail again for him.......:floorlaugh:

I believe the timing was May 14th

..........Millard is scheduled for a bail hearing Wednesday morning with deputy Crown attorney Tony Leitch................
