Jailhouse snitch claims avery confessed

  • #121
This could be entertaining. If he testifies, then wouldn't that mean Zellner gets to ask him questions and try to impeach him?
This guy, who shot his wife to death and claims it was her fault? I would NOT want to be the one in charge of making sure this guy is ready to testify.

People are the worst

This is a silly claim to make. "I genuinely believe he told this one guy this thing he told no one else. I base that off of....uh..."

Vagina and pussy aren't all that distinct...and people with really distinct mannerisms are probably the easiest people in the world to fake. Think of Elvis or someone like that. You don't have to try very hard to get people to understand what you are going for. There is a whole industry of people making a living doing mediocre impressions of Elvis.

Who did she see him kill in cold blood? Or did Hartman mean Steven was actually a big old meany-head? A lot of this just rings of the same old same old "Avery is a 🤬🤬🤬, which is evidence that he killed someone!"

Long story short, his testimony cannot be verified very well, and a healthy portion of what can be verified is wrong. Trusting his testimony is an act of faith. And Hartman sounds like a bitter ex, some of which is definitely justified, Steven is a 🤬🤬🤬 largely. But at the same time things like "I AM SUPER CONVINCED HE HAD A CONVERSATION I WASN'T AROUND TO HEAR" makes her sound like a kook to me.
Kook..lol.
I thought I was the only person who uses this word😀
Great post, as always! Do YOU know which statements in Evans letter can be corroborated? As was stated in another post above?

Yes it can...
http://www.wikihow.com/Become-an-Ordained-Minister-Online

Don't think I will be letting my children attend Sunday school with this guy if he ever gets out. Thanks but no thanks.
It is so easy to become a minister. My husbands bf who has been in the army since high school was married last year.
He wanted my husband to preform the ceremony.
A couple of online forms later, my husband received his credentials in the mail & poof, he's a minister! ( right down to an ID badge, certificate & parking pass that reads " j*** b****** minister " )
He preformed the ceremony beautifully.

He has NEVER even set foot in a church.

A lawsuit over what? There was no contract or legal agreement of confidentiality. It was a personal relationship with letters, phone calls, and a few visits. If she tells the truth about her dealings with SA, then there's no case for libel or slander either. (Truth is an absolute defense in situations involving libel or slander.)

KZ's letter has already been ignored, more than once. It was a scare tactic that failed to scare. Hartman is free to express her opinions, just like all the sleuthy sleuthers expressing their opinions about people in the case (some of whom have been accused of being involved in TH's murder).
.

Unless you are a lawyer? i don't really think anyone can say with certainty as to why exactly KZ wrote LH a C&D letter. My guess is because SA is her client that she is representing, and he probably requested the C&D letter be written and forwarded by his attorney, as is his right to do so.
We non of us know what KZ knows as to what exactly was anything contractual between the parties in question, or exactly what the implications are of LH's actions in an ongoing criminal litigation/process. IMO

Here's a hint: is Hartman currently being sued? Has she stopped talking about her relationship (past or present) with Avery?

KZ can certainly send all the letters she wants, but if there's no lawsuit brought forth and Hartman keeps talking, then you can come to your own conclusions.

I'm going to say because Ms. Zellner is in actual fact a lawyer i'm certain she knows her job and what she is doing and why. Cease and Desist letters can be issued by a lawyer and others, but you would have to ask KZ exactly why in this case, because she is the only one that knows that.
No one said she has placed a lawsuit on anyone, not yet anyway.

  • #126
Since KZ is kinda busy setting innocent people free from wrongful convictions left and right, pursuing a nuisance case like LH might end up rather low on the priority list.

You're the one suggesting a possible lawsuit in your prior post. I'm not asking why KZ doesn't want Hartman talking. I'm saying Hartman is still talking, despite the letter.

BBM, Yes i posted that info. up and a lawsuit can result from a C&D letter if it comes down to it.
But i never said KZ is pursuing a lawsuit against LH. But it is a possibility depending on the legal circumstances.

Do prisoners convicted of murder usually get internet privileges that would allow him to get that though? I mean... before he writes a letter saying another convict confessed to him?

Here is a really good article about why women fall in love with prisoners for anyone interested. Or google it, tons of info out there about the who and why.

You make a good point, Missy. I'm not sure if inmates have those privileges or not..

So, I now am curious, how did he become a minister?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

not sure, I have tried googling it to see how he can do it in prison, I haven't been able to find anything yet. Maybe they have a program in prison?

I'm still betting on the gf/fiance LOL

Considering the reason SG and SA broke off their engagement was because of religion (SA's reluctance), I find it hard to believe that SA was buddy buddy with a guy who says he has found religion. JMO

It's very interesting to me that there are individuals who believe that the word of a prison informant is invariably honest and accurate. Simply based on cases that they have followed in the news or have had personal connections with. In fact, false informants have been tied to multiple wrongful convictions.

"The Northwestern Law School’s Center on Wrongful Convictions found in 2005 that false snitch testimony is the leading cause of wrongful convictions in capital cases in the modern era of the death penalty, implicated in nearly half of the 111 death row exonerations at that time. (As of May 4, there have been 153 death row exonerations.)"

“It’s astounding, it really is,” says Alexandra Natapoff, a professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and the nation’s leading expert on the use of informants. “Criminal snitching is an enormous problem for our justice system, in part because it’s an enormous source of error.” . . .

Thank you for this, my friend😊
Certainly puts the " informant " & ALL that goes with him not as credible as one might think😉

So, let me get this straight...

A convicted killer who still denies killing his wife, who claims to have found religion and has become an ordained minister should be believed?

I find it hard to believe that someone could believe anything this guy says?

What do we know about him?

1. He has admitted to having his daughter and her boyfriend give FALSE POLICE STATEMENTS regarding an accident in which he would lose his commercial license as an over the road truck driver.

2. He admitted to breaking and entering his ex's house and destroying her belongings.

3. He admitted to LYING to officers about a traffic accident.

4. He LIED about how he lost a finger.

5. He's selfish abusive and regularly uses violence to CONTROL people and help himself.

6. While in jail, he threatened to punch anyone who interferes with his relationship with his g/f.

7. He told his own daughter that he would knock her flat if she touched his belongings in his trailer.

8. He wants to exhumed his ex-wife's body from her Oconto grave and reburied in Marinette as a final act of control.

9. His daughter said " You went from greedy and selfish to crazy and psycho, You deserve the worst life ever".

10. He LIED about the way he killed his wife. First said she grabbed his arm and the gun went off, then said she was around when he was cleaning his gun. He also stated that her sudden entry startled him as he was handling the pistol.

11. He DIDN'T LIE when he said he was going to hunt down his ex. and put her "six feet under".

12. He left his ex profanity-laced threatening voice mails that were played in court.

13. He told his friend that he hated his ex and would like to shoot her.

14. He threatened his ex ALL THE TIME according to the daughter.

15. He had his brother follow his ex.

16. He made his former girlfriend walk 8+ miles banged her head on the car frame and told her to LIE to her mother that she slipped on ice.

17. During sentencing, the judge stated "a cold blooded murderer...selfish and...dishonest."

So who are you going to believe JE or the judge? I'm going with the judge.

Sounds to me that JE doesn't have any problem with LYING to LE.

So what's the leverage he has? To my knowledge neither the DA's office nor the courts control prison operations and prison rules. The prison wouldn't care about the letter.

And, more importantly, DID he obtain anything special as a result? He 'snitched' 6 months ago in 2016. What has he gotten in exchange? Certainly someone would know this and disclose if such a thing did occur.

Who knows what he got out of this? Sometimes criminals locked away for life feel forgotten by all on the outside, and they don't like it. Maybe he just wants to stay relevant by pretending he's valuable to society and with the SA/BD cases being high profile current events, he decided to involve himself. For publicity. Or to show that he's not such a bad guy after all. Or, maybe for reasons more sinister that may eventually be revealed--or not.

I don't believe a word of it. He's referred to by all who know him (including his former attorney) as a "loudmouth" and with this letter he's once again proving it.

Great point krkrjx. I think it's possible that his gf/fiance may have something to do with it too, just looking for that few minutes of fame. The timing of it is the most suspicious, right after Duffin's ruling, right before KZ's motion was filed. JMO
