Law Enforcement must always receive cooperation outside their jurisdiction when it comes to interviewing witnesses, poi's, suspects. All jurisdiction rules where the interview will be held is applied. Each, city, state, county and country has their own rules and even a slight deviation of these rules could cause issues on appeal. Of course the interviewer must give the interviewee a Miranda Warning.
Whether or not Raven waives his Miranda rights is another question. If he doesn't waive his rights, they must wait for his attorney to be present. I've worked for defense attorney's in the past and Raven will be told not to answer any question.
Raven went to the Police Department the night of the murder he was out of there by about 5:00 and said he would be back for a polygraph in the morning.
After 4+ years of seeing Raven crying and hearing the 911 tape I can pretty much imagine that night he blubbered so much he was not easily understood, he had moments of anger and moments of steely silence.
He tells Vanessa he's mad, so very mad, not sad, not upset, not heartbroken, he's mad. This is on their honeymoon.
I thought I read that Raven lawyered up first thing in the morning after he contacted Janet's family to say Janet died, Janet committed suicide. If that was 5:00 and he was to be back at the Police Station that morning he had to have lawyered up by 8/9:00am.
I don't know that this sociopath is going to waive his Miranda rights, and I don't know if they will be able to get anything off him.
I think Raven is good with controlled rage as most sociopaths are. He picks extreme sports to satisfy his needs and people tend to think of it as aggressiveness, but when he feel he can't control his rage in a public setting I believe he cries to release it.
These are my opinions of course
