Oh, that's not good-- what's on fire?

Hi Peeples, CNN had an expert on radiation as a guest today. He said if one is exposed they can take an iodine pill as long as it is taken in the 24 hours after exposure. He said all it takes is one pill which would be for light exposure from a cloud. He said the radiation doesn't stay aloft very long. Later I heard there are many variables, like the amount of radiation you are exposed to and for how long.
I remember reading about the bombs we dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima and how deadly the radiation was. It never hurts to look back and I found this:

NHK Live reporting is saying no Tsunami has occurred. The latest aftershock was a 6.2 and not powerful enough to cause a Tsunami. The Tsunami warning remains in effect for safety reasons but any waves should have been seen by now and they have not been seen.
Quiche, thank you so much for posting this!!!!
Dang it those broke my heart
What humans can do to one another... never ceases to amaze me
miyagi prefecture.. 2,000 bodies found
My son is watching this on CNN peoples. He said that the bodies were found around the area of Sendai.
(He's almost 18 and that's what he's saying he heard reported by A. Cooper).
The bodies are just being left where they are...Not even a proper burial for them right now
That is bad right.. leads to disease and stuff??
