http://www.infowars.com/alert-fukushima-coverup-40-years-of-spent-nuclear-rods-blown-sky-high/

Excerpt:
The Fukushima Daiichi plant has seven pools dedicated to spent fuel rods. These are located at the top of six reactor buildings – or were until explosions and fires ravaged the plant. On the ground level there is a common pool in a separate building that was critical damaged by the tsunami. Each reactor building pool holds 3,450 fuel rod assemblies and the common pool holds 6,291 fuel rod assemblies. Each assembly holds sixty-three fuel rods. In short, the Fukushima Daiichi plant contains over 600,000 spent fuel rods – a massive amount of radiation that will soon be released into the atmosphere.

Tell me this isn't true...
From the link:

It should be obvious by now that the authorities in Japan are lying about the effort to contain the situation in order to mollify the public. It is highly likely there are no workers on the site attempting to contain the disaster.

Perhaps the most underreported and deadliest aspect of the three explosions and numerous fires to hit the stricken Fukushima nuclear reactor since Saturday is the fact that highly radioactive spent fuel rods which are stored outside of the active nuclear rod containment facility are likely to have been massively compromised by the blasts, an elevation in the crisis that would represent “Chernobyl on steroids,” according to nuclear engineer Arnie Gundersen.

So, I guess that answered my question about the spent fuel pools in the 2 reactors that had explosions.

MSNBC woman just said they had an aftershock. She's also saying that the workers are now back in the plant - they were only removed for a short time (yeah right).

They just said Monday!

I heard that! That is so crazy! I have been listening to that since the presser and they had been talking about that and then she interrupted with the quake warning.....showed the cameras and everything! What is going on?

Does anyone remember when the actress Susan Hayward was filming the movie Conqueror in Utah in 1956? Everyone was exposed to radiation due to the government doing nuclear testing. She and others got cancer years later. She died in 1976 suffering from multiple cancers. I remember when reading about her story that the wind was blowing the sand so bad during the filming, probably thats how they got exposed to it because it was 100 miles away.

Praying for everyone.

And again tonight - I would love to be a cockroach in the war room of the USS Ronald Reagan tonight. I bet our commander in chief has been on the phone and knows. :furious:

Plus, now earlier how peeples online tablet order was cancelled because a hospital bought everything they had.

I want info! I won't panic I promise. I just want to know WTH is going on!!!!!

BBM: Interesting site on these tablets. It's not the cure-all, and should probably be saved for the younger generation (well, that's my thought anyway).

"There is no medicine that will effectively prevent nuclear radiations from damaging the human body cells that they strike."

TAKE POTASSIUM IODIDE ONLY WHEN PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICIALS TELL YOU. IN A RADIATION EMERGENCY, RADIOACTIVE IODINE COULD BE RELEASED INTO THE AIR. POTASSIUM IODIDE (A FORM OF IODINE) CAN HELP PROTECT YOU.

IF YOU ARE TOLD TO TAKE THIS MEDICINE, TAKE IT ONE TIME EVERY 24 HOURS. DO NOT TAKE IT MORE OFTEN. MORE WILL NOT HELP YOU AND MAY INCREASE THE RISK OF SIDE EFFECTS. DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO IODINE (SEE SIDE EFFECTS BELOW).

http://www.ki4u.com/print_me.htm

Note: not like I'd sit around and wait for our government to tell me to take a dose, but at 47, I don't think it would be very effective for me, and would give it to someone much younger!

Just an opinion! I'm a little miffed that these pills are already hard to come by! Crazy, just crazy!

MSNBC Breaking news: "Officials say 1st fire at reactor #4 never extinguished."

If this is true, then it is now painfully clear that TEPCO has been lying about this fire and then, God knows what else.

I cannot believe CNN is not live.

I know. I was a bundle of nerves last night and didn't sleep much (I bet our prez had more sleep than I did). Anyway, took a catnap today with CNN on, woke up and the same story was playing.

I felt like I was in the twilight zone.

There has to be enough news to keep going live 24/7. Just get more reporters from CNN...or have they all left the country?

OTOH, I really want the silver fox outta there, along with Gupta. It can't be safe anymore. And if we have to rely on the japanese reporters, we're not going to get much of anything.

IF (and that is a HUGE IF) the workers have "left the building" and no one is manning or maintaining operations at this plant - how long before something really big happens? I don't think it would be too long - the reactors are in dire straits now and without maintaining anything - they could go rather quick - at least I would think.

The guy on MSNBC is really good right now - explaining the hydrogen explosions and how they happeneds.

He really is good. She was awesome as well. I did not understand really much of what she said but I could tell (IMO) she sure seemed on top of it which is impressive at least to me. I would not think that would be common knowledge to most.
