Why would they be uncomfortable? CY's chatter wasn't being introduced as evidence.

We know Michelle didn't fall and I also think CY didn't witness her mother's murder.

MF's testimony set the stage for the defense to introduce an expert analysis of the 911 call during the next trial which I think should have been done at the last trials.

Completely agree. Was his defense appointed or retained?

Do you know in the first trial, the one that ended with a hung jury, one of the things the Jurors wanted was a transcript of the 911 call. I don't know if there is an official court transcript of the 911 call online, but that would settle this!

I think we should anticipate an expert analysis of the 911 call at the next trial. MF in her testimony insisted that CY talked about her daddy during the call. Let's have an expert analyze it and see what was said as well as the context in which she said it.

Because, whatever she said still does not fit the timeline of Jason being her mother's killer.

When it comes to CY's words they are unintelligible to me at times. I can hear her ask for a washcloth clearly though. which means she still needed to be cleaned.

And, if lawyers showed obvious worry at each and every piece of evidence or testimony in court, they wouldn't make it through the trial!!

The washcloth was for MY not her.

Good questions. Another is why are the prints in the bathroom all pointed in the same direction?

Exactly!! It doesn't look like CY turns around at all, she is just stepping and restepping in the same prints over and over. Why???

Do you know if they did they do any fundraising for experts (if that is even allowed for PDs)?

I don't know if the defense had justification for hiring an expert to analyze the 911 call in previous trials because it wasn't entered as evidence against Jason until the second trial and only then via Meredith's testimony about what CY said to her during that call.

I think they now have the justification for an expert analysis.

I think CY wanted the wash cloth and band aids for her" Mommy's boo boos all over."

Michelle was found face down. Her injuries were to her face and head covered with hair, i.e., her "boo-boos" could not be seen by her daughter.

This strikes me as a situation where Occams Razor applies: the simplest answer is more often correct.

This whole case strikes me as a situation where Occams Razor applies.

The simplest explanation is that CY was not cleaned. It serves no purpose for anyone (JY, MF, random murderer) to clean her or wash the PJ's. The agent testified that the PJ's had blood stains on them, several in fact. The blood was not invisible. In addition, the blood is not in the same state as someone who is actively bleeding, much of is is likely dried. The simplest explanation is that CY was asleep during the killing, and she discovered her mother later and tracked blood in various locations around the upstairs, some of the blood more visible than others.

If it was entered as evidence, then the defense would have known about it and they should have hired an expert.

Where was the blood that CY got on her feet? On the bed?

Also it wouldn't make sense that CY still needed to be cleaned while MF was talking to 911 operator as she and CY went outside while talking to 911 operator till the first responders arrived and found CY "shockingly clean"

I thought it was more than obvious CY was asking for a washcloth for her dead Mommy.

No, a doll was put next to MY and the theory is CY put it there and that is how she got into the blood.

You really believe CY did not know her mommy was hurt????

I think CY was a smart little girl. Kids her age know what blood is and when you bleed you have boo-boos! if blood was everywhere CY would know her Mommy had boo-boos everywhere. Did you not hear CY say,"Mommy has boo-boos everywhere?

The defense would still need to justify the expense to the Court because the call was not made by the defendant. I agree, they should have hired an expert. I think next time around they will do so.
