JY will probably get a bond hearing after the SC ruling and yes, he should be able to be released on bond. BC can't because of the immigration status.

Thank you. I guess we wouldn't know if the bond amount would be the same like last time.

Where is there any information that Jason or anyone gave CY fruit snacks, where is this coming from?

I don't know for sure if this is where it came from but simple googling brought me to this article-

Words, actions of Jason Young's daughter enter his retrial

Palmatier said she called another day care worker over to the table, and they just watched as Cassidy put the dark-haired doll, the one she referred to as "Mommy," face-down into a small toy bed on the second floor of the multistory dollhouse. "Neither of us really knew how to respond," Palmatier said.

Later that day, she said, Cassidy again spoke of her mother without any prompting. She awoke from a nap and started talking.

"She said, 'Mommy's in the bed, boo-boos all over,' " Palmatier continued.

Then, with no apparent reason for changing her conversation stream, Cassidy began talking about farm animals and "Daddy bringing them fruit snacks."

Because of it being a rage killing or a heat of the moment killing to me. Not something you would drive a lot of miles to do, that you couldn't or wouldn't possibly calm down or talk yourself out of. I don't see JY as much of a thinker or planner, he seems more like an impulse person, and stupid impulses, at that. But, I could never see him as a murderer, sorry.

Thanks for the answer, but I still disagree that you can not commit a rage killing after driving a significant amount of miles.
Lots of killers can hide/control rage until the moment it needs to be let out.
JMHO :)

ETA- And perhaps the real rage came from the fact that the simple, easy planned strangling was not working... and the beating was when the real rage came out?

I don't care about any of the above. I listened to his testimony. Not one word of truth came out of the man's mouth. Imo, he lied over and over again. No respect for his wife. No remorse. Every word was spoken to save his hide.

WOW!!!! I hope you are never picked to serve on a jury....

The state is about to get another blow...ut oh.
Looks like the Medical Examiner in Michelle's case is in big trouble.
Dr. Thomas Clark,Pierce County Medical Examiner Misidentifies Accident Victim.
Clark retired in Raleigh , moved to Washington State.

Or, how do you explain blood going everywhere else on the wall as it spattered, but not on that exact area that coincidentally happened to contain evidence of JY touching that very spot. What was blocking that particular spot during the murder so that blood did not spatter there, a spot in which no one else's DNA or prints were found, and leaving only JY's DNA?

His hand blocked that spot. His hand print in the middle of blood spatter? Why is this so difficult to comprehend? I would like to see a visual as the free Jason people would. The prosecution needs to highlight that image for all to see.

If blood spattered on his ungloved hand, there should have been blood found in his Explorer. As well, he should have had some scrapes on his hand from the fight. Everyone has always said he must have been wearing gloves.

Don't you dare go there again! Attacking Meredith is against the rules here and you know it too.

Meredith was in shock....Meredith had Cassidy, the child her daddy left for HOURS alone with her dead mommy. Meredith's voice showed her emotion.....tear it apart, say what you will, but Meredith Young was tramatized beyond measure when she discovered her dead sister.

BTW....when you run out of reasons to bolster JY's innocence, it's so easy to blame others for his henious act!

JUSTICE FOR MICHELLE & RYLAN

My sense is that people so quick to believe JY is innocent is because they have such a dislike of MF , Michelle's ONLY sister. Can't help but wonder how MY would feel about that. It's odd to me. IMO.

So in other words, Jason supposedly brought fruit snacks to the animals, but no where has it ever been said Jason gave CY fruit snacks the night or the morning of the murder. Thanks for clearing that up.

I am still not sure what you are saying, but, Jason did not give up custody, That keeps being said incorrectly. They (JY and MF) had a shared custody agreeement with MF having primary custody. There is a copy of the custody agreement online, it is 8 pages and has the complete custody schedule each side agreed to, in the best interest of the child.

As for anything CY said, we have the daycare testimony that was offered and she also said Mommy was on the bed with farm animals and a cow, and Mommy fell. Jason and CY stayed in Raleigh until after the funeral, then she went back with Heather. There is no way to know what she said or did after that, any more than there is to know just what CY saw or didn't see that nite/morning.
CY also said on the end of the 911 call to MF that someone was there. MF repeated that to the 911 operator.
He caved. All they were looking for was visitation rights! How much do you think he has contributed to the shared custody since he's been incarcerated?

Um, no I didn't know we are not allowed to talk about MF as a possible suspect.

And I stand by my statement that her 911 call was one of the calmest I have ever heard because it is the truth. She has amazing control of her emotions.

I completely disagree. She controlled her emotions accordingly to spare her 2 year old niece. But she was quivering.

It's not that simple. He would have had to be subjected to an in-depth deposition which is no different than an interrogation and it's not a smart move to expose oneself to that while under investigation. Most attorneys would advise against that.

Secondly, a custody suit in court can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Even the thought of taking these children away from their innocent fathers sickens me to no end. I hope for the day that they are reunited with them and that their children can know their fathers again. And I hope that the families that they are currently staying with are adult enough to do the responsible thing and not fight it.

And what really nauseates me is when people pronounce these men guilty with such vehemence and vitriol when the evidence says something different.

Justice for Nancy and Michelle: Release Brad and Jason and find the real murderers!!!!

Allow me to ease your angst. Didn't follow Brad Cooper but CY is better off without JY. No way is this man innocent. IMO.

I thought he had gloves on, now this means Michelle could have scratched his hands, fingers, wrists, right?

If you read the FBI red flag report and listen to the 911 call, you will pick up dozens of red flags from the call that are indicative of involvement in the crime. I'm not trying to pick on anyone. I'm listening objectively and the call just isn't right. Things like not answering directly, extraneous information given, being polite, not demanding of attention for victim....all of these things are notable red flags and this is based on the study of hundreds of 911 calls and patterns that have been identified.

I think this was all explained at trial. I sure will be glad when we get a ruling and can move on. Now, with this medical examiner's mistake, his testimony will be challenged in MY's case too. Take the deal!

I have no opinion of MF, other than that I think the 911 call seemed completely appropriate to me. She was put into that situation because JY called her and asked her to go to the house.

At this point, I think pointing the finger at MF is a disservice without some type of substantial, objective evidence. And no one has presented any.

I am coming around to believing JY is innocent because the evidence points away from him. The "bad husband must have done it" crowd are bending over backwards to try to fit unrelated events into a narrative that simply doesn't make sense. JY has an alibi that has not been remotely disproven. In addition, I cannot fathom that there would be no physical evidence connecting him to the crime had he done it, given the nature of the crime (blood, fighting back, etc).

And none of that has to do with MF.
