Re-trial with the brunette lady in uniform who talks like a major computer nerd and the guy right after her. His testimony was about 10 minutes and hers was over an hour with a hearing before it.

Cant be sure where it is in the testimony, but the appeals opinion says this, when reciting the evidence:

The *State’s analysis of Defendant’s computer activities did not show Defendant completed work-related activities on his computer that evening.

I take my power cord out all of the time when I am on a road trip because I have a converter so I can plug my laptop into my cigarette lighter. It would make sense he had a converter as well.

I never carry my power cords with my laptop, etc..

And what I am saying is she did not get involved in this immediately. In fact, she asked her boss and he was the one who told her to call LE.
I know she didn't get involved because she wasn't paying attention to the news till people at work started asking her what happened in her neighborhood that she then had the memory and talked to her boss. I just think she may be mistaken on the day she saw what she claims to have seen. I do not think she is lying just mistaken and maybe exaggerated things a bit much esp. about thinbking she saw a wedding band.. Travis Branch the regular delivery for the N & O was working that day and was there at that same time.

Where was his car parked?

We dont know. We only know of the general description Jason gave us, and I dont believe what he says without corroboration or some indication of reliability. According to Jason, he parked somewhere on the side of the building near the emergency exit. It doesn't explain why he went to the farthest exit to smoke a cigar - oh, right, he needed a paper to read in the freezing gusting wind and the cigar was in his car (even though the defense could produce no witness who had ever seen Jason smoke a cigar).

We could go round and round on every detail of Jason's story and there are those who will accept it as truthful simply because it is cannot be proved to be impossible. But, Im sorry, his story is nothing more than a patchwork of cobbled excuses and explanations for each bit of incriminating evidence, and it just does not hold together as a believable story - especially since he came out with it for the first time 3 years after the crime and after having carefully considered the states evidence.

When you travel with your laptop, you do not carry the laptop charger in the laptop case with the computer? Do you mind me asking you why and where do you pack the charger?

Does anyone remember if the defense questioned LE about them looking at other scenarios? Dragging my feet on watching the LE witnesses.

Do you believe the mentally challenged lady at the gas station?

They did not look for people who were actually seen leaving the scene of a brutal double murder because it would be too hard to find them.

And to add insult to injury, they tried to intimidate the witness WHO IS 100% CERTAIN of what she saw.

Sickening.

But seriously - where were they supposed to look for these mysterious unidentified people? How can you look for a person who is described only vaguely and with an inexact description of the vehicle?

That is not negligence or corruption or tunnel vision on the part of the police - there was simply information to follow any further.

I wouldnt be surprised if police intimidated or pressured witnesses, even if they were subtle about it. Thats what cops do - sometimes it is tunnel vision but more often than not it is testing a witness ertainty about what they are claiming to have witnessed. Apparently the police had evidence that tended to contradict or undermine CBs account, so it would be foolish for them not to press their witnesses for certainty and accuracy

Gracie could be mistaken just like I believe CB and FH were. So then they cancel each other out.

He was interrupted while it was printing and forgot it.

Not so. He testified that he had turned the ebay printouts face down on the printer after they had finished printing - a mere 7 minutes before he was buying gas on his way out of town.

It would not have been at night. She said it was at 5:30 in the morning..

No need to be rude. No one is perfect. But given their knowledge I'm pretty sure that if the evidence didn't support what MF saw/said about MY position then it would have been noted. Are you suggesting she lied??

I don't see that as being rude, but if so its no more different than some of you who believe JY is guilty being rude to some of us who believe hes innocent.... I can scroll back & find snarky rude answers from the guilty gang.....

ME do make mistakes.... Check out Dr. Kevin Horne from the JA trial.....

He did testify he was going to check sport scores in the USA Today... and he had just been on his computer on sports websites.

My husband does both..... Doesnt make him a liar or a murderer.... If so my husband is in trouble BIG time....

As you pointed out to me about the 20+ calls made (when I said I've never made that many calls in a row to someone)... I will quote your words, "Just because you do or not do something does not mean that your way is the normal way. "

There was no testimony about why that cord was "out" of the bag. Frankly I don't believe him and think that's the reason he came up with for why he went down the stairwell and out.

It is just that the USA Today that he picked up from the counter was a day old newspaper, and would not have up to date scores like he would have seen on the computer.
Also the fact that he testified on the stand that he was using his computer for work and we know that wasn't true that he was on sports websites.
