Oh come on now......this is ridiculous. Fiona's testimony questioned now? Wow are you "searching" for things to boost your claim of innocence.

Not fair Star....shows you are grasping at anything IMO>

It is what it is. Her posting on her website makes it sound like she was in pretty bad shape and could barely get out of bed. It got so bad she said she felt like she was at deaths doorstep.

It sounds like she has made an amazing turn around though.

I wonder if they ever get a quote from anyone on repairing the garage door? If so, I would check out that company for the murderer.

I believe she said that she heard the water when she first arrived at the house -- she said she first tried the front door, then the side rear garage door which is adjacent to the hose, then finally entered through the regular garage door.

This is exactly what she says..

I am going to post the actual video of MF's testimony making the sounds, hold on. I am almost at that part. It's just that everytime I go looking for something, I find something else interesting as well.

That will be good, I just wish I could find a way to duplicate the sound here so you would get an understanding of it.
Youtube was a bust :sigh:
I did find lots of running water white noise videos though, if anyone has trouble sleeping ;)

Yes it does! actress Jennifer Esposito has celiac disease and has written a book about it and opened her own bakery.

It was Fiona's website and her own words. Her state of mind goes to her credibility at the time of her testimony.

This is exactly what she says..

Yes, just watched, she "heard water running".
Which is what I would say if I heard the sound of the water pressure from inside my house.

I will say she also say "like the sound of water running from a hose".
Which is not quite the same (as the inside the pipes sound).

I think she heard what some of us hear when water is on but not "flowing", she just associated the hose with it when describing it in court.

Thanks! I didn't realize the footprint on the deck was similar to the Franklin shoe!

Do you remember what was said at trial about the deck boards?

I don't remember the deck boards being mentioned during trial.

I don't either but it's been so long ago.....

If it wasn't mentioned, it's a huge oversight by Jason's attorneys. If they could see a stain shoe print on the stained deck, it should have been tested for blood.

At the time, I thought the print was actually an imprint in the deck stain.

I think that was simply literary license to try to tie it to Jason because he's the one who stained the deck. The SW also lists the Franklin shoes even though they had no record of him purchasing Franklin shoes.

Yes, but a leaking or dripping hose does not make much, if any, noise.

Anyway, I have to take a break soon to make dinner, but I will post the video of her making the hose sounds later.
I am pretty sure it was when the defense was questioning her!

Is the hose testimony ... about hearing it running even though no water was actually pouring ... supposed to support the claim that the hose was used at the time of the murder? That is, if Meredith heard the hose running, and if it was running after Jason did the yard, then Michelle should have heard it running and turned it off?

I have to agree that if the dog was "freaking out" when she arrived, why was Meredith paying attention to the low hissing sound of the hose, and how could she hear that over the freaking dog? I interpret a "freaking" dog as one that is making a lot of noise and very active, and large breed dogs make a lot more noise that the hum or hiss of an open faucet that is dripping out of a hose.

She said she heard the dog when she went to the front door. She "heard" the hose when she went to the rear garage door. The dog was not a barker. She said he was "whimpering". (you know that I don't think he was in the house at all)

Let me try to get this straight....

First she went to the front door, then she walked right past the open garage door, entered the back yard and walked to the door leading to the same open garage she had just passed by? Why didn't she just walk through the open garage door to begin with? Was she asked that question?

My understanding is that the garage door was open only a small amount, not wide open.

(I can't imagine living in such a secluded area and knowing the garage door was broke and partially open, still leaving the door unlocked between the house and garage. As well, the rear door where the deck is was also unlocked) I wish she had locked up and had an alarm system.

This is also from the same video: MR. G 40:28 minutes

When she arrived at the front door, that is when she heard Mr. G. When asked why she said he was freaking out on the 911 call but tells Ms. Holt, the dog was loudly whimpering, she says that she never or just infrequently heard Mr. G bark before.

Same Video: Cassidy's Clothes: 102.OO minutes

When they went to Target, she took the clothes CY had on and put them in an Target Bag, unclear if this means PJ's too, but specifically took the tee shirt home and washed it before she turned it over to LE.

This is my understanding , as well. Back in those days, rumors were flying fast and furious, and each time a search warrant was released and the contents revealed, it became a whole series of new theories and speculations.

There are certainly no signs that the dog was in the house.
