Thanks! I didn't realize the footprint on the deck was similar to the Franklin shoe!

Do you remember what was said at trial about the deck boards?

Why would anyone wear shoes 2 sizes too small to work on the deck.. Thats just silly....

Then you have lower water pressure in your house. If you have a lot of water pressure you DO hear it.

I don't hear mine & I have good water pressure....

They wouldn't and he didn't which is why I think it is important. They were just trying to fit the evidence to Jason but it is still evidence nonetheless. Shelly testified she felt they were being watching and somebody wearing Franklin shoes left a shoe print on their deck AFTER it had been stained.

I think those deck boards are an incredible piece of exculpatory evidence.

Someone inquired the other day about Jason and Michelle's Income:

Michelle Young $55, 000 -$60, 000 per year
Jason Young $70, 000 +commissions per year

How could they possibly be having any financial difficulties?

My understanding is that the garage door was open only a small amount, not wide open.

(I can't imagine living in such a secluded area and knowing the garage door was broke and partially open, still leaving the door unlocked between the house and garage. As well, the rear door where the deck is was also unlocked) I wish she had locked up and had an alarm system.

Look at the crime scene photos. Garage door is open pretty wide. Even if it was open a little bit it makes no sense to walk past it and go all the way into the back yard.

Either that or completely closed. We don't know if she didn't lock the doors when she went to bed. The doors were found unlocked the following day. JY let himself in on that fateful night, IMO.

Right, they left it open because MF entered that way and first responders did too. I agree, the different ways of attempting to enter seemed weird too.

Any idea what year those earnings were for? I thought JY switched jobs a lot and the one he had during the time of the murder was a new one. That Friday was the first time he went on his own to make the sales pitch.

There is testimony that she never locked that door between the garage and kitchen and why would JY unlock the back deck door? SS said that the front door wasn't locked either when she was exiting the house.

Do you know how long the garage door had been broken? It is one thing to say she never locked the kitchen door, that very well could have been the habit of this household but once the garage door was broken it is reasonable to think they would have started to lock it during that period.IMO

MF testified that the door was never locked and that the day that she was at the house a week prior, she entered through the garage, knowing it was broken.

I think the garage door had been broken for quite a while.

IIRC, she had the ability to make a 100% bonus.

I'd still like to know more facts about the length of time the garage door was broken. When MF testified going in by the garage door the week before, did she say if it was day or night and whether the Youngs were at home?

Yes that was supposedly her usual pattern when the garage door opener was working. We don't know for sure that she continued once it was broken. I suspect she did lock it since she was home alone. Bottom line is we don't know. You would have to ask JY why he opened the deck doors. I can't answer that. SS has no way of knowing if MY locked the front door after she left. MOO.

What's weird about it? She went to the front door, remembered she didn't have a key, went 'round to the back door which was locked, then remembered the garage door opener was broken , pulled the door up enough to get under it and went in. Sounds reasonable to me. IMO.

Yes, but a leaking or dripping hose does not make much, if any, noise.

Anyway, I have to take a break soon to make dinner, but I will post the video of her making the hose sounds later.
I am pretty sure it was when the defense was questioning her!

:sigh:
You are not understanding Justice.
It is not the sound of the hose itself, it is the sound of the water being on and how that sounds within the pipes (but not actually coming OUT of the hose) and how that is heard from inside the house.

Doesn't mean anything. It was daytime. MOO.

Yep, and a responsible pregnant mother would lock up at night, especially if the garage door was broken.

IMO, JY left the kitchen/garage door and the deck door unlocked to make sure CY got rescued easily via unlocked doors.
