OMG. I just watched the video and I haven't read all the threads yet but I rush back to write this because OMG.......

Cindy called HERSELF mommy (to Caylee) in front of Casey? HOW SICK IS THAT?
How controlling is that? Oh boy........... It is one thing for the child to be confused and call Cindy mommy because they spend so much time together but Cindy herself taking the part and calling herself mommy? In front of her 22 year old daughter who was trying to be the mother as best as she could? Is Cindy that antagonistic with her own daughter?

Boy oh boy. I've written a post some weeks ago of how Cindy exhibits controlling behavior in so many aspects of the Anthonys life (from their house to major life decisions like influencing George to quit being a detective) but this is really out there. And there is only one question in Casey's interview she answered with emotion and without any verbal mumbo jumbo. When she was asked who puts the most pressure on her in her life? She answered immediately and for the first time with emotion that her mother does.

please do not confuse my post as a defense for Casey and what she may have done to the baby. But we have all been trying to find a motive, a tricker, to understand the dynamics of this family, to see why the baby became a target.....and if what JG told Geraldo is true, it fits perfectly with the theory that the child became a pawn of war between these two women fighting for control and fighting to escape that control.

I wonder if on the night of the 15th when supposedly there was a huge fight, whether the threat of suing for custody of the baby was thrown out at her.

No, my conversation with him was only about him meeting me to follow up on my possible siting. I did not know much about the case at the time. I had only seen the photos. Sorry.

I caught him in a few lies... that is my concern. Why lie if you have nothing to hide? But, now it seems like almost everyone involved in this case is lying.

Geraldo asked if he heard that Cindy was making those claims about his involvment in her death/dissapearance. Yes he had.
They were engaged dec 31 2005 to may 28 2006
Paternity test done shortly after she was born to prove he was not the father.
Does not know who the father is, Casey has told several stories about it.
He loved Casey and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
He had mixed emotions when he found out Caylee was not his but wanted to step up anyway.
She broke it off with him.
It is hard to see her intentionally doing something to Casey based on what he knew about her , but obviously there are things comming about her that nobody knew about.
He or his parents would baby sit. Whenever Casey was working.
He does claim the name Zanny in November when they started dating for a short time.
She was never a go out type of person.
When Caylee was first born Lauren would watch her until they had a falling out.
There was always a feasable explanation why she was with the Nanny so nobody ever questioned it.
Casey never wanted to put Caylee up for adoption he voiced it but she said it would never happen.
He was present when Cindy called herself Momma in front of Casey she often took on the role of mother.
Family have always had factions they have never been solidified amongst themselves, he does not know what a good way to behave in this kind of situation.
He is holding out hope that Caylee is still alive until they show him proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
Shows lawyer claims current evidence is not enough.
He claims she never claimed any bad things about her fusion crowd of friends.
He claims he heard Caylee in the background on June 24th but not 100% certain because he could be confused with some other date and in a court of law it must be 100%.

But things were getting rocky - she was pissed that he fell asleep with the phone at his ear on at least two of her marathon verbal diarrhea phonecalls. But he was her only option other than home, and we know why she couldn't go there.

There were a couple of calls, weren't there? One from him to her to let her know he'd just resigned, and one from her to him to see if he wanted to hit the beach that weekend - that was the 27th one, no?

What an odd thing for her to ask him to do, given that she had a boyfriend. At least that's what she called him a couple of weeks later after she was arrested.

Was Tony going to the beach, too? Or did he maybe need a little space to hang with his bros?

Well here's a different perspective, because if I were Tony I might say the same thing based on how I supposedly "met" a person. If I happened to be Tony at some club, store, whatever and we passed a guy who my girlfriend said "hey" to and introduced me for a second, I might just shrug it off especially since my girl told me afterwards he was a "cop I used to know."

A better question to Tony would be "Did you ever meet Jesse Grund, Casey's ex-fiancee?" The answer from Tony would tell you what Casey had told HIM about Jesse. If she said anything of substance of all: don't think she'd want those "lives" of her to intersect. Too risky.

It took me forever to catch up, and I thought the interview was pretty good. It gave us some more insight into the crazy world of the Anthonys and really didn't put Cindy in a good light. The Grunds have a major issue with Cindy. IIRC, the Rev said that Casey would sit and talk to him about how controlling Cindy was. Now we have Jesse dropping the bomb that Cindy called herself Mommy in front of Casey. That just takes the cake.

Jesse seemed fairly honest. I question his motives for being there, but I still think he had something to offer.

No one has used the word he used to describe their break-up. He said things got 'jumbled', which I find strange.

Geraldo asked him if their problems were caused by Casey being a disco-queen and thats when he described her as being a stay at home type person. He then made a comment about no one knowing that she was so far into her other life (or something of that nature - I am paraphrasing on this one. It was quick so I didn't get it written down). Which I took it to mean that Casey the wild child only surfaced occasionally, but eventually won.

The final thing I felt was important, and certainly can go over to the Cindy's inconsistancy thread is his spin on Lauren the original babysitter. Until tonight the
party line was that Lauren graduated from college, got a better job and quit babysitting Caylee for that reason. According to Jesse, Lauren and Casey had a falling out and she booked.

Oh yeah, and Kimberly GN called Jesse Mr. Ortiz. Ugh.

Agreed. He was a club promoter. They meet a lot of people. Did Tony get introduced to Jesse at Fusian one night, with the music pounding in the background?

That is odd because RM & TonE were both in the same bar, same night with pics to prove it. Maybe TonE was too drunk to remember? I don't know!

No doubt - and this is exactly why so many times folks think they know what a person will say when under direct/cross examination (a la a trial) but when the better worded and fact laden questions are fired, but then hear an altogether different response than what they expected.

O/T - I can't tell you how many times I've had a client tell me " he'll say X," but when I interview the potential witness, he tells me "y."

It's also possible that Tony wasn't really paying all that close attention to what Casey was saying, because by now he'd learned that she never, ever stops talking.

He might have had her tuned out by then.
