I can only catch so much, so thank you for the texts updates.
Their father went back to work as the brother was in Iraq. Father had gotten involved with a woman from the Philippines. Father died. Brother got a Family Hardship to care for Jimmy. Brother did what he could at 22 yrs. old, but he had emotional struggles too.

Brother crying now. He didn't know Jimmy needed more. Jimmy was far behind in school, special ed classes, bullied some and picked on.

The guns belonged to Jimmy Rodgers' deceased father. Jimmy's house was raided and he was charged with felon in possession of firearm, Jackie Lee Rodgers Jr. said.

Jimmy did graduate from high school which is amazing considering all his limitations and problems.

Guns in house were deceased father's. The house raided and Jimmy got a felony possession fire arm charge.

Brother says Jimmy gullible and believes what people say and wants to believe the best in them.

The defense is still representing him so this is their strategy to paint a horror filled childhood for sentencing relief... its sad but JRR knows right from wrong....
He accepted the deal of murdering a defenseless woman for $10k. So, he isn't that developmentally arrested.

He was able to pass a written driver's exam. Wasn't he? He was able to pass a road test. Wasn't he? He was able to live independently. Wasn't he?

He was "smart" enough to discard and/or destroy incriminating evidence. Wasn't he?

Anyone who will chuckle at murdering a small woman with a hammer is more than developmentally slow. He has something seriously wrong with him and should not be out in society because he apparently doesn't know how to control himself.

Need I go on?

I hope that he gets LWOP.
