It would seem to be a waste of the public money if someone is given a life sentence for one crime to continue to go after lifesentences in six more crimes,IMO
Wow! That's news to me, too. I thought it was the search of his car that led to obtaining a search warrant for his apartment. I'll go back to check since I feel certain I read that it was something in the car.I don't remember that residents may have provided some information to LE to lead them to search JM's apartment.

"On Friday, police conducted a search of Matthew’s vehicle, a 1998 burnt orange Chrysler coupe, which was parked in front of his apartment. While police were there, an interaction with residents of the complex led police to seek a search warrant for Matthew’s apartment while he was inside, Pleasants said."

Longo said police had previous contacts with the man, but he would not provide details.
According to the chief, some of the more than 400 tips police have received prompted their search of the vehicle and the off-campus apartment. He declined to say what evidence police collected.
However, he said the search of the car "established probable cause" for the subsequent search of the apartment.
The Albemarle County Police Department and Commonwealth’s Attorney will hold a news conference Tuesday about the Jesse Matthew case.
The news conference is at 11 a.m. Tuesday. WDBJ7 plans to live stream the news conference.
Currently, Matthew is only charged with reckless driving in Albemarle County.
Since this is a discussion thread, can someone please tell me what the actual evidence is from Hannah to JLM? I know he was the last person seen with her, Tempo etc. But what was the actual evidence that linked him to Hannah?
I still have unanswered questions...
