Wasn't it Flores during the first taping who came up with the "shot" being first. That was Jodi's belief when she changed her story about the Ninjas. She felt the State's belief was that the shot was first when she fabricated her Ninja story. She basically took what Flores told her and made it fit into the Ninja story. Flores' belief up until right before the trial was that the shot came first and this is why Nurmi had the fit. They had streamlined her defense on the shot being first and along comes the ME to clarify that Travis was not shot first.

At this point the State had to shift gears and reconfigure their timeline. I have a feeling that at that time it opened up a lot of doors for the State and made more sense to them given the evidence they had collected. Flores' belief would sound reasonable, we can all agree on that because it sound so logical but the State was still left with questions. Along comes the ME and the State has to relook at the sequence of events. I think reason JM is so passionate about this case is because he knows now exactly what she was doing during those 62 seconds and it all makes sense.

If the jury believe she did not shoot him first her whole case is down the tubes. What it ultimately comes down to is do we believe the ME or Jodi. This is why JM exposing the number of lies she has told is so important. Jodi tailors her responses to what serves her the best not on the truth. jmo

I noticed this too. In the initial interrogation she asks Flores how Travis died and Flores said, "He was shot." From that moment on, Jodi's story centered on guns and shooting.

I'll just take your word for it. lol

Well when you listen to clients long enough, one learns alot. I failed to clarify this isn't personal experience.

Since we have you here, minor, can the judge, at the DT's behest add lesser charges before the end of the trial?

Only a grand jury can indict.

The more I read some of those messages and myspace picture comments "from" Travis, the more I really, really don't think Travis himself wrote them.

I think it was certainly Jodi while she was in his account.

Lol! Not that there's anything wrong with that..

Yes, but much easier to clean up in the shower. Plus, there is no evidence that Travis ever slept after JA got there on June 4. I think she stole the gun and intended it to be the murder weapon...then, the gun jammed, and like she said in the ninja story, "He was still alive!" :panic:(probably one of the only truths in her story). She had not choice but to use the knife. She was not leaving there until she was 100% sure he was dead.

BBM -- Judging by crime scene and autopsy photos, she wanted to be 1000% sure he was dead.

Yes there is not anything wrong with it. It just wasn't my experience.

Picture of a 25 cal semi auto handgun

PICTURE OF 25 CALIBUR SEMI AUTO HANDGUN
This picture is the relative size of most 25 cal handgun.
As you can see if it was in a holster it would take a bit of time to get one of these little guns out.
It would also if loaded with a shell in the chamber and ready to fire that the possibility of it going off just from picking it up wrong would be quite possible.
That is why most people do not leave a live shell in the chamber and ready to fire.
If they did leave the gun in a ready to fire mode they sure wouldn’t leave it with the safety in the off position.
This is why Jodi said the gun was in a holster then she couldn’t remember if the gun was in a holster or not.
If it was in a holster Travis would have surely caught her by the time she could have got it out of a holster.
I think if they brought a gun expert into court with one of these guns and showed the jury the loading and firing procedure, putting the safety off and taking one out of a holster that it would prove she brought the gun with her.
She said she had no experience with guns so how would she even know it was loaded and how to fire it.
There is no way she could have had time to check if it was loaded and ready to fire.
If you had no experience with a gun like this you wouldn’t even know where the safety button or lever was.
Holsters come in a wide variety but a common trait with mst of them is they come with a strap that holds the gun in the holster so it won’t fall out.

Katiecoolady, maybe this would be better posted on the court observer's page, but has Janine Driver indicated to you what it means that the jurors generally don't look at Jodi?

Respectivly snipped from JusticeJunkie

She fancied herself a professional photographer, but she had no idea how digital data are stored and recovered.

I'll bet she knows now and would like a do-over.

LOL ~
There was a poster here, I wish I could remember their name ~ to give them the credit for this little funny post.
Anyway It said something about Jodi being lazy. Then they wrote "I'll bet that was one load of laundry she wished she had finished and put away". :floorlaugh:

The only testimony we have that TA slept that day is from the lying lips of a torture-murderess.

Employing the Arias Anti-Truth Axiom, he didn't sleep that day. The truth is usually 180 degrees opposite her statements.

I suspect that she cased TA's house to ensure that the roommates were not home. The only humans who know when she entered that house are probably JA and TA.

And she ensured that TA isn't talking now. :(

Even if he didn't sleep, gun first still doesn't explain the need to orchestrate the shower photo shoot.

Samuel's testimony hasn't helped her so far as the murder, and if Juan gets the crime scene analysis out, what else will he have to testify to?

BBM -- Judging by crime scene and autopsy photos, she wanted to be 1000% sure he was dead.

"Is there anyway I can see those pictures"?
"Can I see those pictures soon"?

Thinking out loud, I wonder if JM has TA journal/Diary. They found it. I wonder if Nurmi has the evidence but JA doesn't know the state has the diary. Wonder Wonder Wonder. Wouldn't that be something to have that entered in to evidence in the rebuttal case along with Matt M testify. Boy!! Boy!!! Talk about drama in the courtroom!!!

Prosecution has the journal that Sky Hughes was ordered to turn over to Flores.

I had to laugh when Samuels asked her on his testing of her if she were able to sleep and she said she was having trouble. Her texts are at 3 and 4 in the morning while she was working at a restaurant during the day long before she ever killed Travis. She even stated under testimony both she and Travis did a lot of late night talking on the phone because they essentially were night owls. He used her "sudden" sleeplessness as a sign she is suffering from PTSD. If Jodi has PTSD it's from not having her daily fix of Starbucks. jmo

Isn't it interesting that in his testimony, Samuels said JA's primary conclusion as measured by the scales of the personality test was PTSD, and the second was anxiety disorder.

No mention of narcissistic, borderline, antisocial, etc. But this test measures all of those personality disorders.

Does the prosecution get to see the total result of the test?

Interestingly reads. Cluster B personality females have websites warning men and label them as "🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬".

:doorhide:

I believe I have also read some kind of study that found a correlation between high testosterone in females and Cluster B personality disorders. For realz :what:
