But, the defense has the same evidence and I think uses lots of inuendo when relaying it to the jury.

That is true, but we are depending upon the quality of the evidense as presented to the jurors. And that is based upon the atty's opinion.

But, as in Nurmi and Wilcott, They are presenting the same evidence as the Prosecutor but in a fashion that it will understood differently and in their favor.

The defense is using what she gave them. They have the obligation to prove what she told them happened. The prosecution is not using the evidence to support her theory but the truth, As they see it. The defense is using the evidence as it fits with her defense story..

If it's a BodyBugg, I think the long part is the round strap that goes around your arm lying flat and the part on the left end is the actual device. Kind of like a watch with a leather band when you lay it down flat on a surface.

Jodi noted that Napleon was present during the CD throwing incident...
Did they shut him out after that... I think not...
I believe she purposely gated him while Travis was in the shower - hence no bloody doggie footprints at the crime scene..
This can never be proven ...but I believe it is another factor in the cold, calculated,premeditated way she approached this murder

I've always assumed that Travis' bedroom door was closed the whole time JA was there for privacy reasons... he did have roommates/tenants after all, and Napoleon may have been in the bedroom earlier, but I'm SURE JA made sure he was not in there when she attacked Travis.

I thought the doggie gate was put up when she left, so that Napoleon wouldn't be found scratching at Travis' bedroom door and raise suspicions too early/before she got to UT.

But now I'm thinking you're right, and that it DOES signal premeditation - she'd have had to have put the gate up knowing Travis wouldn't ever go out his bedroom door again, because he didn't use the gate from what the roommates said, and he would have balked at seeing it up...

Yep little red pug prints would have created a problem for JA - but the closed door would have prevented that, no? Ah - unless Travis managed to open it... dang, this person (JA) is creepy. The dog gate does indicate that she may very well have thought of this very issue - beforehand. Yikes.

From everything I've read about her case, I don't believe she did it for a second. I hope she is set free, and can live her life in peace.

Sorry, off topic for a second. Could you good, interesting people go clean for awhile so the rest of us can try and catch up with you. I took the afternoon off from WS and cleaned my kitchen, scrubbed the floor. Good grief, when I come back you are 5000 pages ahead of me! :blushing:

Something that makes no utter sense to me is JA running into Travis's closet. If I was running down the hall in sheer terror, the only thought I would have is how to get away the fastest. If Jodi had turned the other way and run down the stairs, she could have easily flown down those stairs and outside. I highly doubt TA was going to run outside after her with no clothes on. She had a split second to make a choice and common sense would tell her to turn to the left and out of the house. I would never have taken the chance of being cornered in the closet or bathroom.

Yeah, but don't you remember that the last time she ran down the hall and Travis was banging his head against the wall and he caught her and he spun her around, it was August 2007, and when he spun her around he was really angry but then he calmed down and hugged her because he wasn't upset anymore and he apologized, and then she thought because he caught her arm the last time, and he was really angry back then because she confronted him about sleeping with another woman, when they were broken up, so she thought that she should turn right into the closet because that way he wouldn't catch her this time. I think she made them herself. Travis was never all that into her, and she was totally crazy obsessed with him and wanted to completely own him. I never thought he gave them to her.

I'm also not seeing any guy buying undies for a woman that are big cotton granny panties... a guy would buy her something sexy looking that was either booty shorts or a thong.

If you look closely they are booty shorts or boy shorts panties.

And are there evidence photos of all these things? JA was arrested when the car was loaded with this stuff, they must have searched the rental car and you'd think there would be photos taken... maybe they just haven't been made public.

I still want to know more about Gpa's gun - (what year/make/type of .25 it was, etc.).

IIRC, when arrested Jodi had another rental car, and her mother asked about the 9mm and the police tracked the rental down and found it strapped to the engine.

If the system is truly fair and honest, I do not believe any jury should be sequestered. Nor do I believe any evidence should be kept from the jury. Lay it all out there, the good and the bad, and the jury will figure it out.
The Oj jury was sequestered. He walked. The Anthony jury was sequestered. She walked. I say let them watch TV! Let them read the news. Let them see everything the prosecution and defense can come up with. If they do, they will convict JA of premeditated murder.

If I was on trial for a murder I did not commit, but Nancy Grace thought I did, I surely would not want my jury being able to listen to her every night for hours.

I think we're seeing a side view of it in the crime scene photo - the long part is the strap. the part towards the window is the device itself, facing the window. jmv.

I'm amazed at the things he was able to draw out from witnesses and then rather than push once he had, he let it go,leaving it hanging in the air. When Jodi confessed to having taken a shower after the murder in presumably the same shower stall her victim occupied or when he was doing the cross of Darryl B and had him admit that Jodi had confided she was going to Mesa. I think his rebuttal case will be amazing!

That's funny, because several of the talking heads said that she might get sympathy from the women on the jury based on her assertion that she was battered. The women on this forum have certainly NOT been on her side nor accepted the abuse allegations.

I do not think she was battered and, from what I understand, battered women often have a hard time getting away from an abusive spouse. Even getting to a women's shelter might be difficult when you have kids in tow and are afraid for your safety. But Ms. Arias did not have any difficulty getting away - she had a problem STAYING away. Yreka, Ca is nowhere near Mesa, Az. She had to make a conscious effort to see Travis.

I do not think her "charms" will have any affect on the men in the jury, nor will the women support her with some kind of sympathy vote. This is not a "there but for the grace of God go I" situation that will bring the women over to her side.

I think it was Kissinger who once said that there could never be a victor in the battle of the sexes because there is too much fraternizing with the enemy. Men have sisters, mothers, wives, girlfriends (sometimes both a wife and a girlfriend), co-workers, etc and we have strong feelings towards them. Likewise, women have husbands, sons, brothers, etc and also have strong feelings for them. There is no way that gender issues will play out in this trial. This woman was not a battered victim, this was a stalking psychopath who viciously murdered a young man (I'm 59, so he was quite young to me, but these days that's true of most people!)

I think that jurors will judge based on the evidence and, to the extent that their emotions are involved, that will be to Jodi's detriment, not to her benefit.

A man with a razor brush = straight razor.And yes of course, the "MySpace" photo of Travis displays him shaving with a "bic" but maybe he gradually got more comfortable to using a straight razor. :twocents:

As a verified male, I can say this is false. I use a brush and a disposable razor. Using a brush helps the whiskers stand up more and allows a closer shave. :seeya:

I always thought she tried to load or ped pictures on his drive and the security stopped it because the security warning was on his screen when LE checked it. Her hard drive was destroyed and the external hard drive was also destroyed, I believe. jmo
