I wish they could have Arias on video during this purchase to see her hair color? How long would a store like Walmart keep their surveillance records? I would imagine indefinitely for such a megastore?

I wonder if JM didn't think JA was going to lie about the 3rd gas can or if he thought she was going to lie over it and the reason he didn't compel Walmart for the records until after she was 100% solidified in her lie was to make it so she couldn't turn back on her lie? If her lawyers knew immediately after she lied that the state requested the records and what the records stated, I am sure JA would have changed her lie to try and "fix" it as much as possible. She spends so much time just fixing her lies in her story! But since the state didn't request the records until afterwards they really can prove her to be a liar and she can no longer make up some lie to try and fix her damage. I am pumped!

That is exactly what I think happened. It was all part of the strategy. Because they know that Walmart keep it for years and years and years and so does a large company such as to tenesco! Those of us who have work in large companies know this is a fact. Walmart is well known to be the gold standard for this in my MBA classes.

I notice that it looks like there is a strip mall connected to the Walmart. Is there a hair and nail salon there? Maybe two differant places a nail salon, and a separate place where she could of gotten her hair done? I feel that JM has the goods on where she got her hair done, and if it was done at the stripmall connected to Walmart so easily found by detectives.

I. Cannot. Wait. 4. Rebuttal :p

Salinas Wal-Mart where JA bought but didn't return the 3rd gas can on June 3, 2008.

So is there a Starbucks and beauty shope in this center ?????

Wish that WalMart rep could slip into testimony about how the product code for sun block was not entered right. What did it say hair product? Someone have their Cancun clothes packed along with long sleeved shirts in the hot summer weather, as witnesses said she showed up in Utah with?

You know...that brings up something for me.

So she's wearing long sleeves in at least warmer weather (SLC is NOT the same temp as AZ, especially the beginning of June!)

This woman not only did her best to "act naturally" after brutally murdering someone, but she was wearing warm clothes. That would normally make you sweat, and those around you would say "take off the damn long sleeves idiot". That's just common sense.

Yet there were no reports as far as I know of her showing anything other than "normal Jodi".

Who does that? Who CAN do that?? It's just weird. There are so many things in this case that show this woman has got some hardwired psych issues.

Did you see Jodi's reaction in the interview tapes when Flores was bluffing her that the neighbors seen her, she gave herself away about the hair color change...and rental car.

Yes! I asked this same question yesterday but haven't checked to see if anyone's answered yet.

Knowing that:

1. JM has proof that she did not return the 3rd gas can to Walmart and did buy that extra gas in SLC, and...

2. Samuels has opened the door for the (cough) "PTSD Fog" to lift at opportune moments....

... will Nurmi put Arias back on the stand to suddenly declare that she NOW remembers these events?

I know it's preposterous but I wouldn't put anything past them.

I strongly doubt Jodi will be brought back because that will give JM another crack at her. No, Nurmi will try to keep this info out and if he can't, he will downplay its importance.

I did a web search during this testimony and found several strip malls and many hair/nail salons in the immediate vicinity of 68 and 101. Also google earthed it and chose the date for the display.

These boards move so quickly, that threads get locked so easily. Oceanblueeyes replied to a post of mine, and I want to reply to hers:

I thought the same at first but recently this case seemed to have gone 'viral' for a lack of a better word. People I know that don't keep up with criminal cases have started asking about it in the last three weeks or so. Of course they knew if anyone knew about it I would.

It really has been the case to knock CA out of the number one spot.

Even CA didn't have her own show created just for her as Arias has on HLN. That is a first I think and the reason for it is they are having great ratings by carrying this trial and anything about Jodi Arias and the victim Travis Alexander.

'After Dark' was the top rated show on cable news at 10pm. So millions are very interested in this case. I can understand. It is one of the most compelling and also chilling murder cases to come along in recent history. Also so many agree that Arias is a psychopath and its rare to see one testify.

This case is one of the saddest, senseless, and gruesome. Yet it has been fascinating to watch the defendant testify. And what I have enjoyed the most is seeing the best Prosecutor I've ever seen in action as he brings justice.

IMO

Hmmm...what do you mean by number one spot? Are you saying biggest trial..ever? Biggest case...ever? Or biggest case of the past decade? I think the OJ Simpson trial was much, much bigger than Jodi Arias trial.

On March 14, HLN After Dark had 736,000 viewers, which was less than what Greta van Susteren and Lawrence O'Donnell had. Yeah, she got her own show, but 736k viewers doesn't seem like that much to me....I know cable news doesn't do as good in the ratings but you would think at least 1 million viewers.

Well, I know the Anthony verdict brought in 5 million viewers on HLN, so it will be interesting to see what the Arias trial brings in, and what the reaction is if she is acquitted. I still think the Arias trial isn't as big as the Anthony trial...or the Simpson trial...or the Peterson trial...or the JBR case...even if those cases didn't get their own shows (although they all had plenty of normal shows that spent the entire half-hour/hour to talk about the case). Just MOO.

Question: Was there any blood splatter on the ceiling of the shower enclosure? If so, it seems more likely that it would have come from a gunshot rather than stab wounds. Just speculating.

Shower wall above/around fiberglass enclosure appears to be a rust color, but have not seen blood spatter there.

However, there was no stippling/burning on his forehead. The gun was fired from some feet away and/or through a soft barrier (towel/pillow) etc. if she was smart enough. She was certainly deliberate about the gunshot and the lies.

She couldn't possibly lie out of each and every stab wound, incision, and throat slash, thus her Fognesia™ claim.

Premeditation written all over it. She did not shoot him when or how she claims.

Me either. Is there a link somewhere that lists a proprosed schedule of court? One that maybe shows what day or how long each witness, rebuttal, or closing will take? I know it is not definite ,that the DT could drag this out for ages. I know it is supposed to go into April but I was wanting an idea of when each segment of court should happen.

My Walmart has a hair and nail salon inside. Does this one? :please:

A lot of time was spent with the hair color thing, so it seems really odd that DB wasnt asked about it. Matt and his friend would also know, and possible footage of any place she stopped (including walmart) has the possibility of busting her out on this - so Im wondering if they think her hair color changed before all this.

According to RandMcnally, it takes 2 hours and 44 minutes to get from Redding to Lodi, but receipts show it took her 11 hours? Is this where she claims to have slept? How odd to take an 8 hour nap, right after starting out on a trip...

I'm wrong. No stippling.

Thank you. Now we just need a photo of the Salinas Starbucks, and the 'cinder block' curb that her licence plate was so conveniently standing upright against! :floorlaugh:

Another thing, did Travis' office have a bathroom? Was it downstairs? I remember hearing it was and that after they had sex, he made her go wash up. Do you think it is possible that this is the bathroom she cleaned herself up after killing him? In case her DNA or hair was found in the shower, she had an explanation of why. But then again, I guess it would be hard to get downstairs without leaving a blood trail or footprints.

Also, I wonder if she burned evidence in the desert. I would think it would be easy to start a small fire to burn clothes without being detected. Especially, out in the desert where nobody was around. Maybe she brought the Cosco waters to make sure the fire didn't get out of hand. That would show even more premeditation.

Trial dates are only Monday through Thursday in Arizona. And we only have listing on their site on 1 week before. there is no future schedule. moo only the normal sequence of events.

The license plate fiasco was at the Pasadena Starbucks, not Salinas. I posted about this on a few threads because I am familiar with this Starbucks. Here is a link to streetview. hastings ranch starbucks - Google Maps

Where she says she parked is right up against this wall (although she said it was a curb). This is not an area where random Skater Boys hang out and create mischief. :twocents:

Wait. I remember there WAS stippling.

I recall the opposite and that is why the medical examiner said the distance was indetermineit.

Laugh out loud how my talk to text spells things! I'm not going to correct it, you'll get it!
