Get well wishes to you both.Hi sweetie, and yes. Now hubby is getting sick.
OMG I just read my neighborhood is on lockdown! A road rage incident right up the road involving a shooting and the shooter fled and the whole neighborhood is on lockdown! Guess I need to stay in here w/ you guys!
Me too! I am blaming her for my not exercising for the past month AND for the BAGS of licorice I'm consuming (red AND black, for the upset stomach)!!
I have to admit that I get a lot more done around the house when there is court in session (HEAR THAT, COURT SCHEDULER?!) Got zero done today.
Same guy, if we're talking about the fired LAPD officer who wrote the manifesto:

I see it as Feb 2 to March = 1 month; March to April = 2 mo; April to May = 3mo; and May to June = 4 months.
There was another shooting in Tempe today, three schools on lockdown.
78º here in San Antonio-perfect weather!:great:
half a mile away from where I'm sitting right now in my living room.
And I *was* planning to go out to the movies tonite. Not sure I should leave...think the whole neighborhood is still on lock down.
I personally do not believe she ever got that package from Travis. Nor do I believe the t shirt and "shorts" in that photo were made by Travis. And I really really despise her all the more for dragging innocent Reese's peanut butter cups in to her lies. I may have to get some today just to show them a little love. Just sayin.

This is not necessarily off-topic, but it's definitely off on a tangent, so please, bear with me. :blushing:
I've read many posts over the past few weeks where posters question why/how anyone would have bought into Jodi's b.s. - what rational, intelligent, thinking person would actually believe a word this (admitted) liar says? Who could LIKE this woman?
I'd like to give a point of reference. (I'm no longer employed in Will County in any sense) and this case was not nearly as well-known as the other case out of Will - Drew Peterson. But, in 2007, a young woman, beautiful, intelligent - and her boyfriend - enticed an ex-boyfriend to meet them in a Menard's (IIRC) parking lot. CASE LINK: http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Archive/Alt/alt.true-crime/2007-10/msg02256.html
There, they shot the ex. Both the current BF and the woman took a turn shooting. They drove away, were caught quickly, and have been incarcerated in Will County ever since.
My point? When I was working in Will County, (doing an internship) - I met the young woman involved. I got to know her, seeing her several days a week for months.
And although I was aware she was incarcerated on a murder charge, that she had admitted to enticing her current BF to kill her ex, that she had acknowledged making a mockery out of the restraining order she had rec'd on her ex, getting it only to keep the current and past BF away from each other - despite all this, I grew to like her.
I'm not stupid. I'm not uneducated. I'm not naive (hey, I'm from the Southside of Chicago! Hahah.)
But, regardless, I fell for it. I found her funny, engaging, I enjoyed our conversations and I warmed up to her quickly.
Within a week of my internship ending, and transferring to Cook County in a different capacity, a co-worker and I were discussing the case. I lamented that the young lady would be gone for life. My co-worker was astounded. How could I possibly not realize that she deserved precisely the sentence she would get? She killed in cold blood.
Slowly, it dawned on me. I got taken in. She enjoyed having a contemporary to talk to, someone to 'trick', someone who knew a little bit about the law. Hell, maybe I was just 'practice' for her manipulation skills.
Regardless, to any of you who may think it's not feasible that Jodi could fool a jury - I disagree. Luckily, I don't think she has the time available to her (just a few days on the stand) to weave her web. I don't THINK she can pull it off.
And I know that I PRAY she does not.
Just my two cents, so sorry for rambling.

:what: Do you think Amanda Knox was guilty of the murder?!
I'm sorry but I have to address the "dated for only five months" issue.
The months they "officially" dated are February through June 2007, which would make it only FOUR months and not five!
This is such a pet peeve of mine!
I'm constantly correcting my ten year old daughter with this over-sight (she says 9am to 12pm is 4 hours).
I'm sorry, but we just can't let her take another month of a title she doesn't even deserve.
Great. Just great. All you peeps out there speaking to warm temps, warm cookies, brisket cooking on the barby. Go ahead :furious: I'm under a Blizzard warning. Ice,sleet and 2 feet of snow expected. Oh and very cold :banghead: Oh and wind which will blow the snow and create even more ice:what: Just bouncing off your post :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: Glad somebody has some nice temps :seeya:
OMG! I hope she survives!I believe they are seperate incidents. So many mass shootings going on they are getting mixed up with each other. Crazy stuff.
In LA the police have shot up some innocent people who happen to drive the same vehicles as the suspect. Insanity.
Check out the picture and count the bullet holes in the innocent folks' vehicle!

And her hands are just creepy. Long boney fingers. She looks at them like pages when she talks.
I just read a school was on lockdown but didn't realize neighborhood too. Please be careful, keep your doors locked.

She definitely looks thinner and more waif like than her pre-arrest photos.
MOO I think she has done this on purpose for this trial.
