I was so psyched, so to speak, to even SEE there was a Psychologist who'd done an assessment on her for the State (with a laptop to steal). Still wondering about that too.....

I'm psyched for psych info too
Psycho for Psycho Puffs!!!

I was wondering if that first location where they stayed in a hotel - forgot the name of the place, but she said it was in the middle of nowhere and maybe said it was in the desert. If anyone remembers the name of this place, I'd like to see if it was anywhere Jodi could have disposed of the murder gear while trotting across the country post-murder.

Please please please don't make me go back and listen to anything again. I'll give you anything. I have a brand new carton of mint chocolate chip Trader Joe's ice cream in my freezer. It's yours....just so I never have to go back there again. :please:

I have single, adult, professional girlfriends who DELIGHT in calling their significant others "my boyfriend". I don't think there is anything sneaky or odd about that, personally.

I agree Anita, I dont see anything odd about calling someone your bf/gf, but too much emphasis is being placed on exclusivity, official or unofficial labels/status.

Bottom line, JA was not Travis' girlfriend, DT wouldn't have to dance so much around this issue and/or question it ten different ways, if she had been.

I also imagine that the vaginal sex thing was a huge triumph for her that fought VERY hard for.

Probably (wouldn't surprise me if she was trying to get pregnant to trap Travis) ... but according to her, they did not have that kind of sex yet. We have not yet gotten to vaginal sex IMO

Do you know what state that is in?

Arizona, just before the Cali border. I passed through it just this past weekend. It's a pit.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this one, but it was a repeat on this past weekend. Juan prosecuted Bryan Stewart (aka Ricky Wayne Valentini) in 2011 for the presumed murder of his girlfriend Jamie Laiadee. Wasn't a death penalty case, but there was no body either - which can be a tough case to win, but Juan did.

I don't know if any of you will know this, but is there a way of searching out cases prosecuted by Juan Martinez please?

I have tried googling, but all it seems to bring up all the Arias links.

In the UK, where I live, I can go to some specific law pages and look up lawyers and their cases that way, but I don't know if there is a US version of this?

I would be really grateful if anyone who knows a quick way of looking up his cases could share it with me please?

Thank you.

Was watching some of the trial from the other day. Jodi mentioned that at one time Bobby was on crutches. She failed to mention if they were metal or wooden. :waitasec: And why he was on crutches in the first place? Did he fall? Was he in a car accident? :waitasec:

:giggle:

Do you have a Hershey's chocolate bar? :lick:

What do you guys think of Jodi's admission she taped this "really drunk" woman "to show her the next day"?

Do you have a Hershey's chocolate bar? :lick:

Yes but it's not a "fun size" and doesn't come with "Katiecoolady's" boyshorts. But I have other prizes I can throw in. ;)

I'm not too familiar with the geography of that area ... is this pit somewhere that Jodi could have conceivably ceremoniously destroyed murder paraphernalia during her travels?

Is it all completely melted? I don't want to have to put it in the fridge. :(

Jodi asked if they had found the gun and not anything about the knife. It must of been somewhere close? Or was the gun in the rental?

This is an interesting theory I heard from one of Travis' friends yesterday.

"I bet there's a mile marker between here and Utah somewhere that has a number of some significance to her related to Travis and about 50 feet off that marker you would find a gun, knife and whatever trophies she's hoping to go back and visit one day".

Eerie.

I totally agree! The gun and knife are somewhere on her way to SLC... I do think that she burned the clothes she was wearing along with the car mats.. Sicko she is..:jail:

Just another indication that there is something off with this chick.

No, I see her like Casey in that regard, too selfish to want a child, it'd take all the attention away from her.

I would be VERY surprised if we see anything different than what we've seen this week. Soft spoken, demure, apologetic for being wordy. I think she might cry (or appear to cry), depending on how JM is, but that's my best guess. I do not see her yelling, screaming or acting in a way that would get the stun guns fired up. Sorry! lol
I tend to agree though I think she will be seething...but it will be a very controlled rage. She will attempt to cry until she realizes it's not getting the desired payout. (IMO it would be Martinez quitting whatever line of questioning he's on.)

I don't see her screaming or yelling but I do believe her mask is going to slip and the jury will have just a momentary glimpse of what killed Travis.

Candy Montgomery was a housewife here in Dallas that whacked Betty Gore forty times with an axe. She claimed Betty said shhhh and that set her off. When she was small and in the ER and crying her mother said shhhhh and she flashed back to that and hence (a Pasty Ramsey word) the overkill. And she got off, not guilty.

Also is Numri doing the soft voice and don't mean to make you relive this all over again male for the jury against the questioning by JM?
RSBM

Betty Gore was 1978 though. The criminal justice system, and criminology itself, has transformed in that time. Slowly but steadily going are the days where society believes a woman must have a socio-cultural reason for committing murder. A few decades ago few women (especially younger white women) were convicted of filicide because it was commonly believed a mother incapable of murdering her young. Now Darlie Routier and Debra Milke both sit on death row. Diane Downs repeatedly is turned down for parole and Susan Smith will likely face the same fate once she gets to 2024.

Likewise Susan Wright, Clara Harris...and the list could go on. Even though some women who claim abuse are are convicted of a lesser crime precious few are ever acquitted once charged and brought to trial. Despite all our scar tissue, Caylee's case really was an anomaly. JMO

(And, fwiw, some of the above referenced cases still did not have the amount of evidence or a dogged prosecutor working in its favor as this case is graced with.)

Holy crapola! Well, she's given us a couple of "special" dates. Who wants to go for a road trip and check out this theory?! (I seriously have goosebumps over the thought!)

Depends on whether our only options for food are Sizzler and a coupla' random truck stops!

Can you imagine those were totally melted yet didn't seem to ruin all those other lovely gifts?

Liar liar liar liar evil liar. :furious:

I think she lost some of the women on the jury. They would see it for what it was..
