I am posting this query on behalf of a new member who is somewhat apprehensive about posting .. .

Just a shout out to all new posters and lurkers who join us but we never hear from . .. .
please tell us what you are thinking about in this trial and what has gone on so far!


JA confronted Bobby in a bathroom about his cheating, she murdered TA in his bathroom -knowing he was going to Cancun and she was not invited . . . . any thoughts on the "bathroom" angle?

I think the "bathroom" is where someone is their most vulnerable . . . . sitting on the floor of the shower naked . . . . most vulnerable. . . . behind a locked door with (usually one exit) . . . . where JA went to cry when TA was flirting with the other woman @ the convention . . . . where you feel like "toilet paper" . . . . . where the linoleum and the shower fell apart @ Bobby's parents (grandparent's house) when she tried to clean it . . .

BBM - as soon as she said that on the stand, thats the FIRST thing I thought of - she has issues with wanting to confront people in the bathroom!! I find that VERY strange!!

That was the get out of dodge car. Different gun. I think the real gun is in the dessert somewhere when she "ran out of gas"(voice mail she left him after murdering him) or the "got lost" lie she told Ryan (I think that was his name)

Do u believe she ran out of gas? If she did.....did she hitch hike to get gas? I just don't believe she ran out of gas. I do agree the gun is in the desert somewhere to never be found again.

It's been mentioned here on Websleuths that Travis's blog, "TABBB", was created a year or more AFTER the Valentine's when Jodi alleges he sent her the tshirt with "Travis Alexander's" on the front. (Basically, his gift to Jodi would have predated the blog, therefore predated the tshirts he gave to his friends, as well.)

Aha! Got it.
It still seems very shady to me (wether she made them or not) that the defense would show a picture of the clothing rather than have the actual clothing on hand for evidence. I mean, don't tell me Jodi claims to have taken that photo herself (the evidence pic), and otherwise does not know where the clothing is?
With the games JA is playing in taking everything out of context to skewer & assassinate Travis's character, I think it's important to look at things from all sides (the actual evidence that is & NOT what she is willingly showing us *ALL* sides of). I think we all have learned that Travis tied his sense of humor in with so much that he did/said, etc., and JA is using that as a tool to manipulate… and particularly if she is going to make such great claims about this gift being shocking proof of his so-called possessive nature (where is the eye-roll smiley??).
Oh well… I'm sure the pros. have already covered all of that.

Travis seems to me to be more of the type of person to give either a classy box of VDay chocolate with a card or some other type of gift entirely like a day at the spa or a massage or something.

The gift that Jodi described sounds more like what comes in your stocking at Christmas.

she didn't testify to it (but SKYE WILL) that Arias called Skye and was complaining to her that a woman was hanging all over Travis (she was jealous)... not that Travis was hanging all over the woman.

I think that is why the defense is trying to impeach Skye Hughes and her husband to be honst.

Yes, definitely. There is absolutely nothing there except desert in both directions and it is just before you get to the border. I'll have to check, but I think it's still before the border checkpoint, too.

I personally do not believe she ever got that package from Travis. Nor do I believe the t shirt and "shorts" in that photo were made by Travis. And I really really despise her all the more for dragging innocent Reese's peanut butter cups in to her lies. I may have to get some today just to show them a little love. Just sayin.

I am way behind in my reading so I apologize....but.....

Whoa......whoa....so wait...they have a stun belt on her? Is this true? I have never heard of this before! If this is really true it makes me think that she HAS had many crazy outbursts while being incarcerated for the last few years and that someone was concerned enough about it. Yet all I've ever heard about is what a model and well behaved prisoner she's been. Have I missed something?

Yes it is true. She wears it while attending Court only. There were a coupla incidences with Jodi in Jail but i cant remember? Something about pens??? Anyone? TIA

Sorry for being a post hog here, but ....

Jodi's description of the drunk lady and Jodi thinking it was funny and taking a video of it -- I think that describes so clearly who Jodi really is more than anything else she has said.

She described this like it was a totally normal reaction and behavior on her part -- no clue that normal people would see it as so totally horrible and mean. And that says even more about her.

No Way! The gas cans she got from Daryl were for Kerosene to burn the clothes & floormats in the desert. Hence the smoky smell in the rental car.

yes, she is standing over him. the upper right dark, you see the bottom of the back of his head to the neck and shoulder where you see blood streaking down. He is sitting slumped over. As if we are standing above him behind him. (that is the side of her blue pant and cuff) she is standing on the brown tile floor which is the very bottom of the photo. She may have even been a few feet from him at that point due to perspective.. her blue pant leg large he is smaller

I just can't see how he's sitting slumped over, he looks like he's lying on his back to me. :waitasec:

If I opened a box that was a melted chocolate mess and if I had the insane attention to detail and love to elaborate on every minute aspect like this weird chick does, then it would have gone something more like "I couldn't believe when I opened the box , that chocolate had melted all over his thoughtful gifts so I ....". There was no box, there were no chocolates and if there was a letter, it didn't come in that box. Unless this is corroborated elsewhere, this is the opinion I'm commiting to. :twocents:

NO, the gun found in her rental car was NOT the gun she used to kill Travis. That gun has never been found.

Why do you think she dumped the gun in Nevada? That's interesting! I'd like to hear your theory!

Hi Anita :seeya: My theory is that she knew that if she got caught LE would search for the weapons in Arizona and since she was also going to Utah to Ryan's they might look along her route to the SLC area. The receipts for her credit card purchases show she bought gas in Sparks, NV so she obviously used highway 80 for her return trip to California. Nevada is one of the least populated states, especially along hwy. 80 so she had the best opportunity to not be seen. Also, there were some credit card receipts (of which I cannot find the list right now) that didn't make sense from the Reno/Sparks area. I tried to figure them out one day when I came up with a thought that she may have made a side trip to dispose of the weapons. It would be like finding a needle in a haystack to find anything in northern Nevada. (As I said, it's just a theory.)

In my search for the receipts list just now I discovered I had overlooked the fact that she bought 2 more gas cans. So she had four 5 gallon gas cans, including the two she had borrowed. This made more sense to me, as opposed to only two 5 gal. cans, as 20 gallons of gas in a Ford Focus would allow her to totally avoid the possibility of anyone proving she had been in Arizona when she was going to go with the, "I was never anywhere near Mesa, AZ." alibi.

Here's an interesting bit of trivia. July9th is the birthday of Jodi Arias, Amanda Knox, and O.J. Simpson. (Knives used in all 3 murders.)
