So did anyone get a chance to see that Wives with Knives?
luv?
I did. I had a full response for you but forgot to check the *keep me signed in* so when I tried to post my response it was gone.:( I will try again tomorrow but I will say that I agree with you and I see so many eerie similarities between this lady and JA.

Because it's local, smexy and all over the media? There are hundreds of flat out murder cases with no question of intent or defense in the PHX also, and they get ZERO attention. Yet the perps are, imo, far more likely to offend again.

Maybe I'm not sure what your question is. If there was a forum for convicting random PHX thugs to the DP I guess I'd be all over that. But there's no such forum.

Well, if you feel that strongly about it why don't you become an advocate for these victims. Bring attention to them. Create a thread, start up a forum. Why come to this particular thread and complain? Just because this case has gotten so much attention in the media does not mean Travis' or his family do not deserve justice. I don't understand your line of thinking.

Hey guys!
In a bunch of posts I mentioned an episode of Wives With Knives that tells the story of Nancy Anderson who stabbed her husband in the back.
This woman reminded me of JA very much.
Board member luv was able to find the video and posted the link.
I'm going to repost the link for anyone interested.

Enjoy!
I'm dying to hear what you guys think.

Do you have another link? My McAfee set off a warning about that site? :chicken:

I did and wow!! I didn't like her at all! What a lying creepy mccreeperson!!! Lots of similarities btwn her & JA though (i.e. email hacking) but IMO JA's childhood was no where near as bad so i still can't figure out what makes her tick.

What's crazy to me is this woman is like in her 40's, on her 4th marriage, has 2 kids and is pretty normal. No indication of violence in previous relationships. She didn't abuse her kids. Had a good stable job.
Nobody EVER would have EVER expected her to do this

Then BLAM! Stabs her husband in the back and then just wants to watch him slowly die... and calls the kids. Insane!

The shrink at the was suggesting that her tales of abuse were highly exaggerated.

Most murder in the US is not by random white or Hispanic females directed to their sexual partners. I thought I was clear in my op. MOST homicides are not committed by women, regardless of their ethnicity, but are committed by males and are related to gang activity or other violent crime such as robbery, assault, etc.

I guess I'm just tired, but I don't get how this relates to this case at all. I don't even get the ethnic or gender angle.....sorry. Maybe MOST homicides are not committed by women, but this one sure was.

I'm not interested in becoming a victims' advocate. I come to this thread as a diversion. I'm not at all concerned with the outcome of the case, just interested in the trial. I don't know Travis's family and this is not at all personal to me. I'm not apologetic for that. My point was that I find it inexplicable that some people find it intolerable that Jodi should get away with the murder of a single person while hundreds of innocent people are murdered, including children, every single day and yet THEY are not out there screaming for justice for those people. I'm not screaming for justice for anyone. But if I were, I wouldn't be so selective. jmo

OH! OH! OH! I remembered what else i wanted to say ~ how sick was it that he's laying there dying and screaming for help and she just wants to lay with him?? Reminds me of JA saying how TA was on all 4's screaming in the bathroom and she asks him, "what's going on?" I mean, WTF???????

Well --- February 2 through June 29 ...so almost 5 months, but I think these are random dates anyway. The only significance of June 29 is that is when Travis caught her snooping through his text messages.

Well, when we add the specific numerical dates it does almost equal five months (147 days or 21 weeks). In other words, July 2nd would begin the fifth month. I know that it is all semantics, but this is court of law and she is a liar!

Let me guess a direct quote: "Yeah I know that was mean, but why can't you just get over it?"

Ugh, my long-time friend is married to a narcissist (formerly known as A$$h07e).

His favorite (oft repeated ) line is "I'm just being brutally honest. It's not a crime, it's a virtue." Usually after he has said something insulting, hurtful or totally lacking in tact or grace.

I swear, one day I'm gonna kick him in the nads and whisper "Say hello to some brutal honesty, jack wagon!"

Only I won't because I will just figure out another way to divert my irritation and disgust at this cretin. But a girl can fantasize......

Too bad there are not many posters left cuz I have a question.

There is a woman Elisha who stayed at TA's. She was having trouble with hubby. She says TA and she were just friends.

Anyway, I looked her up and she is a wedding photographer!

So who was one first. JA or Elisha?

Either way it is freaky.

I wish that video didn't cut out before she was done! She was just explaining that she was going to crash at TA's for a couple of days but that turned into 30 days. She also looked like she had a "story" when the cohost asked if she dated Travis. Elisha is beautiful. Very interesting about her being a wedding photographer!

Karmady has every right to post here and opine. As do we all. As long as we are respectful and do not target other posters. :). MOO

Murders that get the most attention are those which are statistically aberrant, such as this one, even though they are no better or worse than all of the others. That was my point.

She never dated him. They had a very very close soulmate kind of bond but never dated or got even close to it. She said when she finally decided to leave her husband, her first thought was to run to Travis and rekindle the friendship (her husband wasn't one of those who you could have a male friend with) and found out he'd been killed 2 days prior. So very sad.

We need jackets with "JUANETTES' on the back. And a seal.

Ask and you shall receive. :)
