bbm.
jodi said that Travis said that.. so it's probably not even remotely true. moo.

Right. And to expound further, JA stated that TA didn't want JA to act too affectionate toward him in the presence of Deanna Reed 'cause her feelings were too raw over her and TA (or something to that effect).

Of course JA interpreted it to mean that Deanna is unstable.

Of course that is simply JA's interpretation and her word with no corraborating witness thus far. Her word only. :banghead:

Controlling relationship, oh I get it, Travis was in control of JA stabbing him in the back, he made her do it, and JA has trouble saying no.

  • #103
I am not pleased that the Judge apparently ruled in her chambers that JA can get back on the stand tell perverted stories today

:furious:
I feel the same!

I read in the Ask A Lawyer thread that Jodi's testimony is evidence. It's up to the jury whether or not it's credible evidence.

I'm sure one of our fine Verified Attorneys will be along to correct me if I got that wrong.

Yeah he was so controlling he let her move away to another state away from him and even said he didnt want to be with her anymore. Ugggh what a load of bs that jury is being fed.

So controlling that when she moved to Mesa never telling him first and he was shocked (according to JA)

imo

I am curious.. because what the article says is even too graphic to post a link to.

I am so looking forward to Juan Martinez getting hold of her. He is my new favorite prosecutor. Looking at the pyramid/triangle graphic posted above just reminds me of some of Juan's moments that have just cracked me up.

My favorites:

It's not like he said, 'We need to get down, baby', right?

Asking Lisa if she, in her youth and naivety, thought Travis should have controlled his penis "getting big"

When Wilmott says "Objection, are we still on the hard drive" and Juan, without even blinking says, "No, we're not" and just keeps on with his presentation - doesn't even dignify Wilmott's objection by waiting on a ruling from the judge. He was so clearly thinking, "Keep up, you moron"

And of course his repeated display of the horrible autopsy photo and/or nasty 🤬🤬🤬🤬 pics of Jodi, asking witnesses - did she tell you about thiiiiissssssss?

Can't wait for the cross from Juan Martinez.....

....cause "Girls Just Juan-a Have Fu-un"!!!! :great:

I have no idea how I missed this, but never heard it before. Travis said that Deanna was "unstable", yet he left his dog to her?

I don't think Travis ever said this. I think jodi is setting up that Deanna is the crazy one sending stuff off his computer and slicing tires and such.

If anyone can handle JA it is Juan Martinez who has the truth on his side.

ETA: I liked when he told Gus."thats not how it works.......you dont get to ask me questions.......I get to ask the questions!' :D

I know you all feel like this too, but I am horrified that the judge is allowing this. It is has nothing to do with her murdering Travis. It has to do with them trying to get the jury to be sympathetic to her and to paint Travis in a bad light. It is all based on her one-sided story, and everyone knows she tells stories.

If she was testifying about what happened the day of the murder it would be one thing, but the never-ending ramblings of every little detail of her entire sex life (her version) doesn't have a place in a courtroom.

You got it right.

I know it's upsetting that Jodi is going to tell lies and try to smear Travis, but no one should be blaming the judge for this. The judge has no discretion to disallow testimony based on credibility -- this is exclusively the jury's job. If the judge precluded Jodi from testifying about something based on the judge's predetermination that it's not credible, Jodi's conviction would be overturned on appeal, and they would have to go through a new trial.

So everything JA says is ok to say because it's considered evidence even though the victim is not able to tell his side, because she/JA murdered him by stabbing him in the back because she had to defend herself from him/Travis attacking her. Another criminal becoming the victim.

I am watching the recap on IS right now (sound muted). She is just grinning and loving this, every moment is enjoyable. The glee is shining from her eyes and the smiles seem hard to contain. She should be held in contempt for being downright deplorable.

Snipped.

Well, from the day she was arrested, Jodi has said she has nothing to be concerned about. I posted this yesterday, as I had never seen this clip of her before. It's 1 min/ 22 sec of her explanation about why she was smiling in her mug shot. It's absolutely priceless. "I'm here because of Travis", "Smile and say cheese"....I SOO wish the jury could see this clip. Just jaw dropping hubris.

YUP

remember the user name/log in for the videos

I personally think that was another part of premeditation

I think it was arias on the computer that night and she snuck in like she did every other time and surprised him.

Remember... via phone testimony he NEVER answered her calls that night while she was calling

and

after she murdered him she checked his voice mail and iirc deleted one of the messages? (not sure about the deletion but SURE about the accessing of it part)

Im not really worried. In the Ariano case the defendant was also allowed to claim self defense and claim abuse that her victim did recalling certain things and claiming they were true and given many days to keep saying her lies. She had absolutely no proof of anything she espoused. Just a she said with her victim dead and silenced.

It didnt work .........the jury did not believe her and thought she was lying. She sits on death row.

Beth said she is allowed to tell all of her story (story being the operative and her downfall too imhoo)

Good morning, dear friends! I am "working" all week (as usual), so I will be trying to keep up without being discovered today. (You know...minimize, maximize, minimize, maximize, mute, unmute, etc., etc.) Thanks for the updates and transcription! It helps me keep my job!

I am not in the least bit worried about Jodi spinning her tales about Travis being a pedophile or whatever crap she comes up with. In fact, I'm kind of glad that she is going to such extremes because it shows so clearly the depth of Jodi's depravity. Any compassion points she may have scored with jurors will be erased.

Juan will handle this testimony and show the jurors just what a depraved, lying, lowlife Jodi is by stooping to this victim smearing -- as if brutally murdering him wasn't quite enough.

I had never heard about this murder before now, well in the last little while from WS.
She has been jailed for 4 years plus now. That is a long time to wait for a trial, however too bad Jodi. So my point is, I guess that is the reason why the Juror's may have not heard about this case. I don't recall it on MSM before.
At least she has had the opportunity to 'warm up' in jail for the rest of her L I F E!
